  • change texture at runtime

    - by user1509674
How can I change the texture at runtime. I have done changing the label(text) at runtime. The following code is used using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; public class switchtime : MonoBehaviour { // Use this for initialization private bool showLabel = false; private bool showLabe2 = false; private bool showLabe3 = false; private bool showLabe4 = false; public void Start() { Invoke("ToggleLabel", 1); Invoke("ToggleLabel2", 3); Invoke("ToggleLabel3",6 ); Invoke("ToggleLabel4", 9); } public void ToggleLabel() { showLabel = !showLabel; } public void ToggleLabel2() { showLabe2 = !showLabe2; } public void ToggleLabel3() { showLabe3 = !showLabe3; } public void ToggleLabel4() { showLabe4 = !showLabe4; } public void OnGUI() { if (showLabel) { GUI.Label(new Rect(300, 200, 100, 20), "Copying window file.."); } if (showLabe2) { GUI.Label(new Rect(40, 40, 100, 20), "Epanding windows file.."); } if (showLabe3) { GUI.Label(new Rect(80, 80, 100, 20), "Installing Feature.."); } if (showLabe4) { GUI.Label(new Rect(100, 100, 100, 20), "Installing Updates"); } } } Now I need to change the GUITexture at runtime. How can do this? Can anybody help me in coding? Here is some changes I made. I worked on changing the gameObject when mouse is placed on it. This is the code I applied and its working for me using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; public class change : MonoBehaviour { // Use this for initialization public GameObject newSprite; private Vector3 currentSpritePosition; void update() { } void Start() { newSprite.renderer.enabled = false; currentSpritePosition = transform.position; //then make it invisible renderer.enabled = false; //give the new sprite the position of the latter newSprite.transform.position = currentSpritePosition; //then make it visible newSprite.renderer.enabled = true; } void OnMouseExit(){ //just the reverse process renderer.enabled = true; newSprite.renderer.enabled = false; } } Now the problem is that, in same code I need to set a time so that the text get loaded without the mouse click. I mean a particular time to load each text one after the another. Here is my screen shot Here I have placed the image one below the another, when the mouse is hovered on it it will change the text from bold to normal text.Changes process stated in (image 2,3).That code I posted is working for me.

  • JumpStart your implementation with Oracle User Productivity Kit pre-built content!

Project teams are faced with tight deadlines for enterprise application implementations or upgrades. Learn how organizations can reduce their time to deployment by using pre-built content for Oracle User Productivity Kit. When organizations use this content for baseline system transaction flows early in a project, they can then simply modify and update the content as the application evolves to create user acceptance test scripts, transaction recordings, job aids, classroom training, online training, and support materials post-go-live. The value of pre-built content dramatically reduces time to deployment and overall implementation costs.

  • Running multiple versions of Firefox [migrated]

    - by redconservatory
I've been reading this: http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/797010#answer-193690 But it looks like it only applies to running multiple versions of Firefox when it's Firefox 4. I need to run Firefox but it seems like a lot of my clients are still running versions of Firefox 3 (is this an operating system issue? Doesn't Firefox auto-update?) so I need to run 3 plus the latest version to troubleshoot some css issues...

These are the indicators on my system: There are ten, the last one on the left is Tomboy, the rest is more or less default (the second from the left is displayed only if more than one keybord layout is used). What are their names?

  • Require password to login to Nexus 7

    - by gnudoc
The default behavior in the Nexus 7 Image is to log straight in to the default user's desktop, bypassing the lightdm greeter. This seems like an acceptable behavior for testing the core but it's clearly insecure. I've changed the default password and would like lightdm to actually require the password to be entered, rather than just having a button that says "login". I've turned automatic login on and off in System Settings ? User Accounts but this doesn't help. Any suggestions?

  • Generate GUID from any string using C#

    - by Haitham Khedre
Some times you need to generate GUID from a string which is not valid for GUID constructor . so what we will do is to get a valid input from string that the GUID constructor will accept it. It is recommended to be sure that the string that you will generate a GUID from it some how unique. The Idea is simple is to convert the string to 16 byte Array which the GUID constructor will accept it. The code will talk : using System; using System.Text; namespace StringToGUID { class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { int tokenLength = 32; int guidByteSize = 16; string token = "BSNAItOawkSl07t77RKnMjYwYyG4bCt0g8DVDBv5m0"; byte[] b = new UTF8Encoding().GetBytes(token.Substring(token.Length - tokenLength, tokenLength).ToCharArray(), 0, guidByteSize); Guid g = new Guid(b); Console.WriteLine(g.ToString()); token = "BSNePf57YwhzeE9QfOyepPfIPao4UD5UohG_fI-#eda7d"; b = new UTF8Encoding().GetBytes(token.Substring(token.Length - tokenLength, tokenLength).ToCharArray(), 0, guidByteSize); g = new Guid(b); Console.WriteLine(g.ToString()); Console.Read(); } } } .csharpcode, .csharpcode pre { font-size: small; color: black; font-family: consolas, "Courier New", courier, monospace; background-color: #ffffff; /*white-space: pre;*/ } .csharpcode pre { margin: 0em; } .csharpcode .rem { color: #008000; } .csharpcode .kwrd { color: #0000ff; } .csharpcode .str { color: #006080; } .csharpcode .op { color: #0000c0; } .csharpcode .preproc { color: #cc6633; } .csharpcode .asp { background-color: #ffff00; } .csharpcode .html { color: #800000; } .csharpcode .attr { color: #ff0000; } .csharpcode .alt { background-color: #f4f4f4; width: 100%; margin: 0em; } .csharpcode .lnum { color: #606060; }   And The output: 37306c53-3774-5237-4b6e-4d6a59775979 66513945-794f-7065-5066-4950616f3455

  • Sound recorder not responding, Ubuntu 12.10

    - by user45168
I don't know what is causing this. I've noticed lately after upgrading the computer at church to Ubuntu 12.10, the sound recorder will not record when the record button is pressed, and when I press it again, the message to continue without saving comes up. No matter what I choose the program completely locks up, and the only way I can quit the program is by going to system monitor and ending the process, I then reopen the sound recorder and it then works properly. Any thoughts as to what can be done to fix this?

  • Free texture sites – is it safe to use their content

    - by AllCoder
There are multiple free texture sites, like: texturemate.com or plaintextures.com. I am wondering how safe it is to use their content? I imagine that the texture could be withdrawed from the site, making it difficult to prove it was really there. Or: a file can origin from other, restricted source. I am thinking about using wikipedia Commons, as there is the OTRS system. However most media requires attributing.
