Seems like a good solution, but I really get some headache when I follow available examples on how to create views (queries) to select documents from a database and sort them. Everything I can find is regarding Javascript and it would be great to take part of some examples for PHP since that is the language we will use. So, how do I create views using PHP for couchDB?

Critera 1, the output on the report is filtered by accounts that have a varinace of =10% or <=-10%. Or, Critera 2, allow the user to be able to input a specific variance on a form, that will only output on a report accounts that have that specific variance.

  • How can I compare tables in two different databases using SQL?

    I'm trying to compare the schemas of two tables that exist in different databases. So far, I have this query SELECT * FROM sys.columns WHERE object_id = OBJECT_ID('table1') The only thing is that I don't know how to use the sys.columns to reference a database other than the one that the query is connected to. I tried this SELECT * FROM db.sys.columns WHERE object_id = OBJECT_ID('table1') but it didn't find anything. I'm using SQL Server 2005 Any suggestions? thanks!

I tried to developed a sample web application using json webservice,but the problem is the url was exposed on the client side.So from there,anybody can make a program and call the service for a thousand times. Please take note, that the web service will be using for a registration page, in which checks if the user was exist on the database.So there is no authentication happened on this process. What are the approach to secure the calling of the exposed web service?

    I'm creating a database with what I anticipate will be a long (perhaps several paragraphs for some tuples) attribute. I'm assigning it text instead of varchar. I have two questions: Should I give a maximum value for the text field? Is this necessary? Is it useful? Since the contents of this field will be displayed on a website in HTML, do I need to include paragraph tags for paragraph formatting when I enter records into mysql?

  • ASP MVC LINQ to SQL IQueryable Array out of bounds?

    Hey guys, I have an Iqueryable that is populated from the database and then converted to an Array. That works fine. The issue is when I only have 1 element in the Array. I try to use the 0th element and it says "ArrayOutOfBoundsException". When I have 2+ elements in the array and pull elements 0 and 1 it works fine. What gives?

I currently have some SQL statements in the code and I want to put these statements in separate file with solution. So, later when the application gets deployed, and if I want to update SQL statements, I could just update the statements in the file and just replace the file instead of redeploying the whole solution. I know R is great with Time Series, but I am not sure where to start. I have two questions: 1- I have the raw invoice data but have aggregated it for reporting purposes. Would it be easier if I didn't aggregate the data? 2- Regardless of aggregation or not, what functions will I need to loop over each product and generate the lags as I need them? In short, I want to loop over a set of records, calculate lags for a product (if possible), append the lags (as they apply) to the current record for each product, and write the results back to a table in my database for my reporting software to use.   • Using jquery to prevent resubmitting form

    I use jquery's .submit() to intercept user's submit event, however I found a problem. When the user single click the submit button, the form is submitted normally, but if a user deliberately fast click it multiple times, it will submit multiple times, which will cause duplicated data in the database. What's the solution for this kind of problem ?
