'collapsed' : 'expanded'; }); } i get an error saying 'dashboard.pages is undefined' is there away to dynamically add 'pages' and the children that follow without having to do the work of checking to see if it is defined first then if its not doing dashboard['pages'] = {}; because sometimes they may already exist and I don't want to have to inspect the tree first i just want to build the branches as needed

    Hello World!! :D I had a question which is pretty easy if you know the answer I guess. I read about sorting ArrayLists using a Comparator but somehow in all of the examples people used compareTo which according to some research is a method working on Strings... I wanted to sort an ArrayList of custom objects by one of their properties: a Date object (getStartDay()). Normally I compare them by item1.getStartDate().before(item2.getStartDate()) so I was wondering whether I could write something like: public class customComparator { public boolean compare(Object object1, Object object2) { return object1.getStartDate().before(object2.getStartDate()); } } public class randomName { ...     I'm building a Java IDE and am trying to implement autocompletion or intellisense. After looking around for something that will do most of the work for me (not reinventing the wheel etc) I've pulled the code for Eclipse JDT core and am trying to figure out how to implement it in my own IDE. I'm obviously working under the assumption that this is possible. If anyone knows a lot about Eclipse JDT Core, implementing intellisense, or other fun things that would help me accomplish my goal and would like to weigh in, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

  • Silverlight MediaElement Position Property Weirdness

    I have a MediaElement that is reporting its position incorrectly and weirdly, but consistently. It seems like when it gets to the last second of the audio (and it's always the last second, regardless if the sound is two seconds or 10), it doesn't update it's position until it finishes.     Hello Folks, I am trying to map a table frp, a SQL Server 2005 DB to a class which contains an enum: public class MyClass{ private YesNoOptional addressSetting; public YesNoOptional AddressSetting{ {get; set;} } } public enum YesNoOptional { Yes, No, Optional } This will dictate that one of three values is inserted into the corresponding column - 'Y', 'N', 'O'. This column is of type nchar(1). My mapping file is like so (addressSetting is the property which is causing the problem): <class name="IncidentDefinition" table="IR_INCIDENT_DEF" lazy="false" > <id name="Guid" column="INT_GUID" > <generator class="guid"></generator> </id> <property name="Reference" column="INT_REF" ></property> <property name="Description" column="INT_DESCRIPTION" ></property> <property name="AddressSetting" column="INT_ADDRESS_REQ" ></property> <property name="Active" column="INT_ACTIVE" type="YesNo"></property> <property name="PinDocId" column="INT_PIN_DOC_ID"></property> </class> Using the config above I get the following error: NHibernate.ADOException: could not initialize a collection: System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format.. If I try to map the enum using a custom type like so: <property name="AddressSetting" column="INT_ADDRESS_REQ" type="ML.Types.YesNoOptional, ML.Types" ></property> Error: System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. Next, if I try using a specific type like so: <property name="AddressSetting" column="INT_ADDRESS_REQ" type="String" ></property> This error is generated: NHibernate.PropertyAccessException: The type System.String can not be assigned to a property of type System.ArgumentException: Object of type 'System.String' cannot be converted to type 'ML.Types.YesNoOptional'.. As a last resort I tried to specify the type as a char like so: <property name="AddressSetting" column="INT_ADDRESS_REQ" type="Char" ></property> This works a bit better, as it in it doesnt throw an error, however instead of returning the character from the table and mapping it to the enumerated type the ASCII value of the character is returned instead - so Y is represented by 89! I am hoping someone can explain what I am doing wrong and\or how why this is happening please? Thanks Morris

  • XCode 3.2 does not mark unit test assert failures in the editor

    I've been off in Java land for about a month or so and now, upon returning to XCode I feel lost. I've upgraded 1st to 3.1.2 then recently to 3.2 and also got a new Mac with Snow Leopard so I'm not exactly sure when the problem surfaced. I just know that I used to get little red bubbles in my unit test next to the failing asserts and that no longer seems to happen. Is there a way to restore this? I've been trying to use Apple's own SenTesting framework instead of GoogleTools for mac like I used to. Should I revert to Google Tools? Does anyone have an answer?

    Hey all I'm creating a custom column in a feature for Sharepoint. It is essentially this: <Field Type="Integer" ID="<insert guid here>" ReadOnly="true" Name="xxx" DisplayName="XXX" Group="YYY" /> When the field is deployed and attached to a content type, the content type shows no instance of this field being attached. The documentation about ReadOnly is a bit vague but definitely states that the column will be available for viewing in a View. However, when I create a view it is not available. The moment I remove ReadOnly from the field, it is available on the content type without any problems. Any ideas?

    I have a LINQ statement like this: var media = (from p in postService.GetMedia(postId) select new { PostId = postId, SynthId = p.SynthId }); There are many(possibly thousands) of records returned with the same SynthId. I want to select one one, any random one. So when I'm finished, media should contain records with distinct SynthId. SynthId can be null, I want all nulls to be in media (the distinct should not affect them). My DAL is EntityFramework, if that will help. How do I accomplish this in the most efficient way?

  • NSDictionary with specific property of plist

    Hi, I have a plist with key values. Each key represent a language, let's say 'it' 'en' ....ecc The value of each key is another key/value(=array) set. At startup I would like to create a dictionary by reading only a specific key. Let's say the locale of my iphone is 'it', then the init method would only parse it key, because the only way I found by now is to make a dictionary from the whole plist file and then another dictionary. But I can imagine this can become quite cpu consuming if I add more language in the future. thanks Leonardo
