  • Select photo while keep the order

    I have a list of photo on the page, each have an unique id, user can click on them to toggle select the photo, when they click the submit button, I need to send the array of selected photo ids to the back end, in the order that the photo was selected. I think that the fastest way to track if a photo is selected is to use an object that use photo id as key, like: var selected = { "6272861": true, "6272888": true } when the user unselect a photo, I just need to delete selected["6272861"]. But this will ignore the order, if I use an array to keep the selected photos: var selected = ["6272861", "6272888"]; then when I need to unselect a photo, I have to loop through the array and delete the item. Is there better ways? thanks.

In my jQuery, I have a click function that manipulates the CSS based on what a user clicks on. But I want to start the freshly loaded page with some of the links disabled (no href attribute) and with a style applied.     This is a fairly simple question. Basically, I'm having a program send HardWare ID's to my PHP script as GET data. I need the PHP script check to make sure that HardWare ID is in a specific MySQL column, and if it is, { continue the script, } else { exit(); } Problem is I'm not too good with MySQL and have no idea how to do this. However, I feel that I should know this by now, so if someone could also link me to a good tutorial site for MySQL, that kind of keeps it "humanized" if you know what I mean. One that "dumbs it down." I'm not dumb or anything, I just get sidetracked easily, and if all its doing is showing me code and not explaining it, I won't pick it up. If you don't have any tutorial sites off the top of your head, I'll settle for help with the first question, and try to hunt down a tutorial later.

I want to clarify the question a little because based on the answers I think I did not describe one aspect of the problem correctly (and I'm sure that's my fault as I was having a difficult time defining it even for myself). Here's the rub: The result set should contain ONLY the records with tstamp BETWEEN '2010-01-03' AND '2010-01-09', AND the one record where the tstamp IS NULL for each order_num in the first set (there will always be one with null tstamp for each order_num). The answers given so far appear to include all records for a certain order_num if there are any with tstamp BETWEEN '2010-01-03' AND '2010-01-09'. For example, if there were another record with order_num = 2 and tstamp = 2010-01-12 00:00:00 it should not be included in the result. Original question: Consider an orders table containing id (unique), order_num, tstamp (a timestamp), and item_id (the single item included in an order). tstamp is null, unless the order has been modified, in which case there is another record with identical order_num and tstamp then contains the timestamp of when the change occurred.     I have a query which is returning a sum, so naturally it returns one row. I need to count the number of records in the DB which made that sum. How can/should I get my the count values I am after with CI in an uncoupled way??

I decided to post a new question so that I can ... a) Post updated info b) post my most current postconf -n output When a user sends mail from inside the network (via webmail) to email addresses both inside and outside the network, the email is delivered. When a user with an email account on the system sends mail from outside the network, using the server as the relay, to addresses inside the network, the email is delivered.   • Setting up RADIUS + LDAP for WPA2 on Ubuntu

    I'm setting up a wireless network for ~150 users. In short, I'm looking for a guide to set RADIUS server to authenticate WPA2 against a LDAP. On Ubuntu. I got a working LDAP, but as it is not in production use, it can very easily be adapted to whatever changes this project may require. I've been looking at FreeRADIUS, but any RADIUS server will do. We got a separate physical network just for WiFi, so not too many worries about security on that front. Our AP's are HP's low end enterprise stuff - they seem to support whatever you can think of. All Ubuntu Server, baby! And the bad news: I now somebody less knowledgeable than me will eventually take over administration, so the setup has to be as "trivial" as possible. So far, our setup is based only on software from the Ubuntu repositories, with exception of our LDAP administration web application and a few small special scripts. So no "fetch package X, untar, ./configure"-things if avoidable. UPDATE 2009-08-18: While I found several useful resources, there is one serious obstacle: Ignoring EAP-Type/tls because we do not have OpenSSL support. Ignoring EAP-Type/ttls because we do not have OpenSSL support. Ignoring EAP-Type/peap because we do not have OpenSSL support. Basically the Ubuntu version of FreeRADIUS does not support SSL (bug 183840), which makes all the secure EAP-types useless. Bummer. I got a certificate from http://CACert.org (you should probably get a "real" cert if possible) Then I followed the instructions at http://vuksan.com/linux/dot1x/802-1x-LDAP.html. This links to http://tldp.org/HOWTO/html_single/8021X-HOWTO/, which is a very worthwhile read if you want to know how WiFi security works.
