    I would like to serialize a boost::array, containing something that is already serializable. If get this error: error C2039: 'serialize' : is not a member of 'boost::array<T,N>' I have tried to include the serialization/array.hpp header but it did not help. Is there another header to include ? According to the documentation I should be able to do that http://www.chuchusoft.com/serialization/doc/boost_types.html Thanks

    I'm trying to a binary file consisting of floats with Octave (on OS X), but I'm getting the following error: octave-3.2.3:2> load Input.dat R -binary error: load: failed to read matrix from file `Input.dat' The file was written like so: std::ofstream fout("Input.dat", std::ios::trunc | std::ios::binary); fout.write(reinterpret_cast<char*>(Buf), N*sizeof(double)); fout.close(); Any idea what could be going wrong here?

  • best practises to delete a set of tables in sql 2008

    Basically i want to keep the transaction very simple but i should be able to rollback if any error in the later part. Something like mentioned below, BEGIN TRANSACTION DELETE SET 1(this will delete first set of table) COMMIT DELETE SET 2 (will delete second set of table) If any error occurs while deleting set 2 i should be able to rollback set 1 transaction as well.Let me know if we have any options to do like this.     I am trying to test a controller method with the following code: it "should set an approved_at date and email the campaign's client" do @campaign = Campaign.create(valid_attributes) post :approve, id: @campaign.id.to_s @campaign.reload @campaign.approved_at.should_not be(nil) end However, when I run this test, I get the following error: Failure/Error: @campaign.reload ActiveRecord::RecordNotFound: Couldn't find Campaign without an ID When I run the analagous lines in the rails console, the reload works and the value is set as I need it to be. Why isn't reload working for me when I run the code in an rspec test?
