  I have the following code: string[] firstarray = { "bla bla", "bla bla", "bla bla"}; string[] secondArray = {"aaaaaaaaaaaa", "aaaaaaaaaaa", "aaaaaaaaa"}; string[] newArray = array; array = secondArray; foreach (string item in newArray) { Console.WriteLine(item); } This code gives the following results: bla bla bla bla bla bla I can't understand why the newArray has the same conntent after I assign a different instance to the array. Please help me.

• Is this BlockingQueue susceptible to deadlock?

  I've been using this code as a queue that blocks on Dequeue() until an element is enqueued. I've used this code for a few years now in several projects, all with no issues... until now. I'm seeing a deadlock in some code I'm writing now, and in investigating the problem, my 'eye of suspicion' has settled on this BlockingQueue<T>. I can't prove it, so I figured I'd ask some people smarter than me to review it for potential issues.   I am working on a client server system, and am running into issues where multiple clients are executing an action at the same time. We are able to solve this by locking on the critical section of code, which ensures that the first client will complete the action before the second client enters the code block. My question is this: our server is also clustered, so multiple instances of the server itself can exist, which recreates the same problem as before. How could we solve this problem? Thanks!

  This code works to rotate: CGAffineTransform transform = CGAffineTransformMakeRotation(radians(lastAngle++)); anImage.transform = transform; and this code works to move my UIImageView CGRect frame = [anImage frame]; frame.origin.x+=1; frame.origin.y+=1; [anImage setFrame:frame]; but when I combine them, the image stretches out increasingly on each run through. Perhaps the frame should not be modified like this?

However, I'd like to use go routines to implement a really slow (and very parallelizable) bit of code, but it must be callable from python.   I've been playing with the -webkit-box-reflect property in Chrome and can achieve a reflection that fades with the following code (it's example code from the Webkit blog): -webkit-box-reflect: below 5px -webkit-gradient( linear, left top, left bottom, from(transparent), color-stop(0.5, transparent), to(white) ); Problem is, I want to set the opacity for the mask to a more subtle setting, but it seems to be choking on rgba().
