  • How to fix Eclipse validation error "No grammar constraints detected for the document"?

    - by Casey
Eclipse 3.5.2 is throwing an XML schema warning message: No grammar constraints (DTD or XML schema) detected for the document. • How to embed a web browser control in a cross-platform application?

    - by Gil
hi, I need to write quickly this application: a simple window that wraps a web browser control, that runs html pages. The Browser UI (e.g. Navigation buttons) should be suppressed. As a .net developer, I would embed the WebBrowser OCX in a Windows Form. But this has to run on Mac as well!! I found the following cross-platform candidates. Which one would you choose (in terms of simplicity, stableness, community support, etc.): 1) wxWidgets (www.kirix.com/labs/wxwebconnect.html) 2) QT: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee8eRwjbcFk&feature=related 3) MONO: www.mono-project.com/WebBrowser Thanks!

  • Exchange Server Address Resolving to Random String

    - by William
I am running Exchange 2013 on Windows Server 2012 R2. When I add my exchange account to Outlook, it seems to work perfectly (sending/receiving email, syncing everything), but when I open the account settings it has the following set as the Server: ffff9c55-a9e0-47e9-8779-dbf73af18dd7@domain.com I would have expects this to be: mail.domain.com since this is the DNS A record pointing to the IP of my server. Where is it getting this server name?

  • Help with understanding why UAC dialog pops up on Win7 for our application

    - by Tim
We have a C++ unmanaged application that appears to cause a UAC prompt. It seems to happen on Win7 and NOT on Vista Unfortunately the UAC dlg is system modal so I can't attach a debugger to check in the code where it is, and running under msdev (we're using 2008) runs in elevated mode. We put a message box at the start of our program/winmain but it doesn't even get that far, so apparently this is in the startup code. What can cause a UAC notification so early and what other things can I do to track down the cause? EDIT Apparently the manifest is an important issue here, but it seems not to be helping me - or perhaps I am not configuring the manifest file correctly. Can someone provide a sample manifest? Also, does the linker/UAC magic figure out that the program "might" write to the registry and set its UAC requirements based on that? There are code paths that might trigger UAC, but we are not even at that point when the UAC dlg comes up. An additional oddity is that this does not seem to happen on Vista with UAC turned on. Here is a manifest (that I think is/was generated automatically): <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8' standalone='yes'?> <assembly xmlns='urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1' manifestVersion='1.0'> <trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v3"> <security> <requestedPrivileges> <requestedExecutionLevel level='asInvoker' uiAccess='false' /> </requestedPrivileges> </security> </trustInfo> <dependency> <dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity type='win32' name='Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls' version='6.0.0.0' processorArchitecture='*' publicKeyToken='6595b64144ccf1df' language='*' /> </dependentAssembly> </dependency> <dependency> <dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity type='win32' name='Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls' version='6.0.0.0' processorArchitecture='x86' publicKeyToken='6595b64144ccf1df' language='*' /> </dependentAssembly> </dependency> </assembly> And then this one was added to the manifest list to see if it would help <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> <assembly xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1" manifestVersion="1.0"> <assemblyIdentity version="1.0.0.0" processorArchitecture="x86" name="[removed for anonymity]" type="win32" /> <description> [removed for anonymity] </description> <dependency> <dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity type="win32" name="Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls" version="6.0.0.0" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df" language="*" /> </dependentAssembly> </dependency> <trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v2"> <security> <requestedPrivileges> <requestedExecutionLevel level="asInvoker" uiAccess="false"/> </requestedPrivileges> </security> </trustInfo> </assembly> The following is from the actual EXE using the ManifestViewer tool - <assembly xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1" manifestVersion="1.0"> <assemblyIdentity version="1.0.0.0" processorArchitecture="x86" name="[removed]" type="win32" /> <description>[removed]</description> - <dependency> - <dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity type="win32" name="Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls" version="6.0.0.0" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df" language="*" /> </dependentAssembly> </dependency> - <dependency> - <dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity type="win32" name="Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls" version="6.0.0.0" processorArchitecture="*" publicKeyToken="6595b64144ccf1df" language="*" /> </dependentAssembly> </dependency> - <trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v2"> - <security> - <requestedPrivileges> <requestedExecutionLevel level="asInvoker" uiAccess="false" /> </requestedPrivileges> </security> </trustInfo> </assembly> It appears that it might be due to the xp compatibility setting on our app. I'll have to test that. (we set that in the installer I found out because some sound drivers don't work correctly on win7)

  • RegEx expression to find a href links and add NoFollow to them

    - by Rodney
I am trying to write a RegEx rule to find all a href HTML links on my webpage and add a 'rel="nofollow"' to them. However, I have a list of URLs that must be excluded (for exmaple, ANY (wildcards) internal link (eg. pokerdiy.com) - so that any internal link that has my domain name in is excluded from this. I want to be able to specify exact URLs in the exclude list too - for example - http://www.example.com/link.aspx) Here is what I have so far which is not working: (]+)(href="http://.*?(?!(pokerdiy))[^]+) If you need more background/info you can see the full thread and requirements here (skip the top part to get to the meat): http://www.snapsis.com/Support/tabid/601/aff/9/aft/13117/afv/topic/afpgj/1/Default.aspx#14737

  • Retrieve messageId of email being sent using ezcomponents ezcMailComposer

    - by Ian
I'm trying to retrieve the messageId for the email being sent. I've tried explicitly setting the messageId just before sending, like this: $mail->setHeader('messageId',ezcMailTools::generateMessageId('example.com')); I then return the messageId after sending, like this: return $mail->getHeader('messageId'); ... but the counter portion of the Id is always off by one. For example, the return value will be: 201003191011957.14801.0@example.com ... but the actual messageId will be: 201003191011957.14801.1@example.com Returning the messageId header value without explicitly setting it first returns a blank string. How can I retrieve this value?

  • Starting a browser from a textbox via Intent - Is http:// required?

    - by VitalyB
Hi, I have the following code: /** Open a browser on the URL specified in the text box */ private void openBrowser() { Uri uri = Uri.parse(urlText.getText().toString()); Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW, uri); startActivity(intent); } When I input "http://www.google.com" to the textbox, it works fine. However, when I try something like "www.google.com" it crashes with: No Activity found to handle Intent { act=android.intent.action.VIEW dat=www.google.com } Am I using Uri wrong? Is there a way to extract full address from it? Or am I supposed to write code that adds http manually? e.g, if not starts with http://, add http://. Thanks!

  • SubProject OR SubFolder ?

    - by user300435
I am writing an asp.net application that exposes data in 2 ways: 1 - 1 common section that all users can see 2 - a Section that displays data specific to a registered user. in this case the user can decide how it looks (through themes), and manage the data to be displayed. Of course, the logic behind is the same, appearance would be different for as user1 and user2 The questions are : What would be best using : 'http://www.site.com/User1' or 'http://user1.site.com'. knowing that in both cases i have to make the displayed pages look like a seperate site then the root domain in anycase, the pages that will be displayed and customized on the fly are located in a subfolder of the of the asp.net project (projectrootpath\personalpages). What is the best way to map the personalpages subfolder to a subdomain or a 'http://www.site.com/userX' in the address bar. i also use "~/" in the urls which in this case needs to point to the personalpages rather then the root . Any help is gretaly apreciated.

  • Nested fragments survive screen rotation

    - by ievgen
I've faced with an issue with Nested Fragments in Android. When I rotate the screen the Nested Fragments survive somehow. I've come up with a sample example to illustrate this issue. public class ParentFragment extends BaseFragment { @Override public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) { return inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_parent, container); } @Override public void onViewCreated(View view, Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onViewCreated(view, savedInstanceState); getChildFragmentManager() .beginTransaction() .add(getId(), new ParentFragmentChild(), ParentFragmentChild.class.getName()) .commit(); } @Override public void onResume() { super.onResume(); log.verbose("onResume(), numChildFragments: " + getChildFragmentManager().getFragments().size()); } } public class ParentFragmentChild extends BaseFragment { @Override public View onCreateView(LayoutInflater inflater, ViewGroup container, Bundle savedInstanceState) { return inflater.inflate(R.layout.fragment_child, null); } } BaseFragment just logs method calls. This is what I see when I rotate the screen. When Activity initially appears ParentFragment? onAttach(): ParentFragment{420d0a98 #0 id=0x7f060064} ParentFragment? onCreate() ParentFragment? onViewCreated() ParentFragmentChild? onAttach(): ParentFragmentChild{420d08d0 #0 id=0x7f060064 com.kinoteatr.ua.filmgoer.test.ParentFragmentChild} ParentFragmentChild? onCreate() ParentFragmentChild? onViewCreated() ParentFragment? onResume() ParentFragment? onResume(), numChildFragments: 1 ParentFragmentChild? onResume() Screen rotation #1 ParentFragmentChild? onPause() ParentFragment? onPause() ParentFragment? onSaveInstanceState() ParentFragmentChild? onSaveInstanceState() ParentFragmentChild? onStop() ParentFragment? onStop() ParentFragmentChild? onDestroyView() ParentFragment? onDestroyView() ParentFragmentChild? onDestroy() ParentFragmentChild? onDetach() ParentFragment? onDestroy() ParentFragment? onDetach() ParentFragment? onAttach(): ParentFragment{4211bc38 #0 id=0x7f060064} ParentFragment? onCreate() ParentFragmentChild? onAttach(): ParentFragmentChild{420f4180 #0 id=0x7f060064 com.kinoteatr.ua.filmgoer.test.ParentFragmentChild} ParentFragmentChild? onCreate() ParentFragment? onViewCreated() ParentFragmentChild? onViewCreated() ParentFragmentChild? onAttach(): ParentFragmentChild{42132a08 #1 id=0x7f060064 com.kinoteatr.ua.filmgoer.test.ParentFragmentChild} ParentFragmentChild? onCreate() ParentFragmentChild? onViewCreated() ParentFragment? onResume() ParentFragment? onResume(), numChildFragments: 2 ParentFragmentChild? onResume() ParentFragmentChild? onResume() Screen rotation #2 ParentFragmentChild? onPause() ParentFragmentChild? onPause() ParentFragment? onPause() ParentFragment? onSaveInstanceState() ParentFragmentChild? onSaveInstanceState() ParentFragmentChild? onSaveInstanceState() ParentFragmentChild? onStop() ParentFragmentChild? onStop() ParentFragment? onStop() ParentFragmentChild? onDestroyView() ParentFragmentChild? onDestroyView() ParentFragment? onDestroyView() ParentFragmentChild? onDestroy() ParentFragmentChild? onDetach() ParentFragmentChild? onDestroy() ParentFragmentChild? onDetach() ParentFragment? onDestroy() ParentFragment? onDetach() ParentFragment? onAttach(): ParentFragment{42122a48 #0 id=0x7f060064} ParentFragment? onCreate() ParentFragmentChild? onAttach(): ParentFragmentChild{420ffd48 #0 id=0x7f060064 com.kinoteatr.ua.filmgoer.test.ParentFragmentChild} ParentFragmentChild? onCreate() ParentFragmentChild? onAttach(): ParentFragmentChild{420fffa0 #1 id=0x7f060064 com.kinoteatr.ua.filmgoer.test.ParentFragmentChild} ParentFragmentChild? onCreate() ParentFragment? onViewCreated() ParentFragmentChild? onViewCreated() ParentFragmentChild? onViewCreated() ParentFragmentChild? onAttach(): ParentFragmentChild{42101488 #2 id=0x7f060064 com.kinoteatr.ua.filmgoer.test.ParentFragmentChild} ParentFragmentChild? onCreate() ParentFragmentChild? onViewCreated() ParentFragment? onResume() ParentFragment? onResume(), numChildFragments: 3 ParentFragmentChild? onResume() ParentFragmentChild? onResume() ParentFragmentChild? onResume() They keep getting multiplied. • How do I validate that my the openid.op_endpoint when a request is completed.

    - by Sam Saffron
I have an Open ID based authentication system on my site. Occasionally users will have an account registered under foo@gmail.com and they will attempt to login using the google open id provider https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id, in this case I would like to automatically associate the account and log them in. When the process is done I get a payload from somewhere claiming that openid.op_endpoint=https://www.google.com/accounts/o8/id. My question: Can I trust openid.op_endpoint to be correct? Can this be spoofed somehow by a malicious openid provider? For illustration, lets say someone types in http://evil.org as their openid provider, can I somehow end up getting a request back that claims openid.op_endpoint is google? Do I need to store extra information against the nonce to validate? The spec is kind of tricky to understand

  • Twitter Search API Question

    - by supermogx
I'm using the twitter search API to get twitter posts based on some keywords, using AND and OR keyword. It works OK, but I seem to get problems using hashtags... For example : Not returning any results : http://search.twitter.com/search.json?q="%23ipad+AND+%23ipod"+OR+"%23joke+AND+%23funny"&rpp=100&callback=? Returning results : http://search.twitter.com/search.json?q="ipad+AND+ipod"+OR+"joke+AND+funny"&rpp=100&callback=? But there's results with #ipod AND #ipad because when I search only for #ipod, I can see a lot of posts with both hashtags. Example : http://search.twitter.com/search.json?q=%23ipad&rpp=100&callback=? P.S. %23 = # Any idea?

  • Does the box API require case-sensitive booleans?

    - by Nick Chadwick
I'm having some issues with the box.com developer API, and it seems that this is due to the API requiring lower-case booleans in request parameters. When I make a call to say, delete a folder, the URI my framework is generating looks like this: (DELETE) https://api.box.com/2.0/folders/1234?recursive=True This doesn't work, and the API throws an error. However, if I manually set the URI to this: (DELETE) https://api.box.com/2.0/folders/1234?recursive=true Everything seems to work just fine. I'd like to confirm that this is indeed the behavior, and if it is, I'd like to request box fix their API!

  • EC2 Instance of Wordpress not mapping URLs correctly

    - by Benjamin
I'm using an AWS EC2 micro instance to run a wordpress blog. I've successfully mapped a subdomain to the Elastic IP for the micro instance. After a few minor changes, the URL I mapped to the Elastic IP (blog.example.com) opens up the wordpress home page but whenever I click on any of the wordpress links the domain changes to the AWS public DNS for that instance (http://ec2-123-45-678-910.compute-1.amazonaws.com/wordpress/). How do I fix the URLs so that they all follow the subdomain I have setup?

  • Postfix Bounced Emails With Google Apps

    - by crontab
So our company uses Google Apps to handle our accounts for our employees. Meaning something like matt@domain.com would go to Google Apps. We also use postfix on our server to send out our news letter emails to our users. We've setup our emails to have a unique return-path which is basically bounces+UNIQUE@domain.com problem is that when postfix gets a bounce during the SMTP connection, it actually sends out the email to Google Apps. Is there anyway that we can setup Postfix to not send to bounces+UNIQUE@domain.com and instead pipe that message to a script which we can grab the original message and log the bounced address? I realize this only partially works as some emails may send correctly from postfix and then bounce down the road somewhere, but this should help us out with a good portion of our bounces. For a start, in main.cf we have recipient_delimiter = + and in master.cf we have bouncehandler unix - n n - - pipe user=nobody argv=/path/to/bounce_handler.php ${recipient} Not really sure where to go from here though.

  • Using variables in Tasker

    - by Waza_Be
I am trying to create a Tasker plugin. Everything is fine, and works pretty well. I can configure a String to be sent in my app by using EditActivity and this code, following the examples: resultIntent.putExtra(com.twofortyfouram.locale.Intent.EXTRA_BUNDLE,PluginBundleManager.generateBundle(getApplicationContext(),message)); resultIntent.putExtra(com.twofortyfouram.locale.Intent.EXTRA_STRING_BLURB,generateBlurb(getApplicationContext(), message)); setResult(RESULT_OK, resultIntent); The problem comes when I want to use this code to get the battery level for instance, so I added: resultIntent.putExtra("net.dinglisch.android.tasker.extras.VARIABLE_REPLACE_KEYS",com.twofortyfouram.locale.Intent.EXTRA_STRING_BLURB); but the app is not working and I get a string %BATT as the result, the variable is not replaced... As I haven't found any example, I would be pleased to get some help to make it work.
