  • How to import php with javascript?

    I know JavaScript is client side and PHP is server-side. I also know this is an odd question. However, the CMS editor I'm using will not allow php to be stored to the database (it's the same editor used by Dupral). I can store JavaScript though. Can I import a php file with JavaScript. Or rather read the php file, store the content in a variable then out put the content to the screen?

  • How is it that i am getting two different open ids for the same site for the same user

    I was under the impression that the open id for a user remains constant. I am allowing users to setup open id with my site with 2 different screens in my app... I was under the impression that the open id for a user is constant and will not change and I was planning to save it to my database for a given user, However, to my suprise, I found different ids for the same user using the same google account in the two different screens. How does open id actually work ?

The problem I have is, when the user enter some special characters in the text field (i.e "I'm"), it is saved in the database with the "\" character (i.e. "I\'"). I need to know how to fix this so it just saved as whatever the user entered.

    I got script what read from database and manipulate it so on the end I got $result array... on one server is it possible to serialize this object and pass it to other script so this $result array could be available for other script on second server... I got on first server: return serialize ( $results ); and on second: $data = unserialize ( file_get_contents ( 'http://www.......com/reader.php' ) ); ...but there is no communication between ....     I have a database table that stores user comments: comments(id, user_id, created_at) I want to get from it the number of users that have commented for the first time in the past week. Here's what I have so far: SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT `user_id`) FROM `comments` WHERE `created_at` BETWEEN DATE_SUB(NOW(), INTERVAL 7 DAY) AND NOW() This would give the number of users that have commented, but it would not take into consideration whether these comments are first for these users.

    I have a Magento installation with around 60 attribute sets. I need to add a new attribute to each of the attribute sets. There doesn't seem to anyway of doing this in the admin control panel. I am sure I can work it out by manually entering the correct fields into the database, but is there a way of doing this through the API or through the Import / Export profiles?
