    Hello i have two columns: duration (int) and dateCol (date) in a table. How should i proceed if i want to know when CURDATE() - dateCol will iqual to duration. ie: CURDATE() - dateCol (2010-05-08) = duration (14 days), and then send an e-amil?

  • Add results from MySQL?

    Not quite sure how descriptive that title was but this is what I want to do. I scripted a URL shortener today and it's working fine, I just want to add some stats on the bottom of it saying how many links there are and how many clicks there are. Now everytime a user clicks one of the links it +1 the column in the database then it redirects the user. I want to query that and add all of those numbers together from each row. I attempted a while loop which im not surprised didn't work: while($rows = mysql_fetch_assoc($check_count)){ $clicks = $rows['clicks']; $clicks = $clicks+$clicks; } If you don't understand please ask and if you do understand it means alot for any response!

  • TYPO3: How do i render tt_content text elements in my own extensions?

    I'm currently writing a TYPO3 extension which is configured with a list of tt_content UID's. These point to content elements of type "text" and i want to render them by my extension. Because of TYPO3s special way of transforming the text you enter in the rich text editing when it enters the database, and again transforming it when it is rendered to the frontend, i can not just output the database contents of the "bodytext" field. I want to render these texts as they would usually get rendered by TYPO3. How do I do that?

  • What sort of object is this and how to use it?

    What would be the correct name for this type of array? There are 3 main sections and 4 sub-parts consisting of "issuedTime" "text" "url" and "validToTime", how do you start to convert this to an object? If there was only 1 main section, it would be fairly simple to do however with 3 main parts and no identification for each main section has me scratching my head as where to start. Any advise appreciated.   • Facebook page linking to external site sign-up process, capture permission to write to wall in process?

    Hi all, Have had a good hunt through the archive but can't find anyone trying to do this... hope someone familiar with the facebook API can confirm if it's possible? Basically I have a client who wants to replicate their membership sign up process in a tab on their facebook page. The form would still submit to their own website to process, we'd just be replicating the form fields. As an additional requirement they want to capture peoples facebook user ID and get permission to post back to a users wall at the same time... The idea being that once the user is a member we can post back to their wall so their friends see that they've signed up... Basically after a sanity check that: 1) these things are possible to do; 2) the best method to build the form in a FB page - I'm guessing using JS to create all fields & ajax to submit to the external site?     Is it possible to create a Doctrine query with a differnt number of ids coming from a submitted form? And if yes how? What I am trying to do is this: .... if ($input->isValid()) { $q = Doctrine_Query::create() ->from('Imm_Model_Images i') ->whereIn('i.ImageID = ?', array($input->ids)); $result = $q->fetchArray(); PS: ids come form the submitted form in an array as ids[]. Added Edit: chaged the above line: ->whereIn('i.ImageID = ?', array($input->ids)); with: ->whereIn('i.ImageID = array($input->ids)'); ...and it seems to work.

    Hey, I want to get the 5 latest active topics within several category's. Each topic has a subcatid and this subcatid relates to a catid. What I want is to get the 5 active topics within each catid. Any ideas? thanks.

    Hi i ve got the same issue than this guy: Acces token from facebook is not retrived for sign up? access_token (trying to get propert of non object ) Apparently he found a solution but I do not clearly understand it. Just need you help to understand what should i do. Problem is access_token trying to get property of a non object when i try to log in with facebook connect. the solution I don't understand is this one.     For so many time, I have encountered problems with managing image having abnormally long height or width. If I fixed their height and widht, they will appear streched? If I fixed their width, and if the height of the image is very long then also it will mess up the overall website. If I fixed their height, and if the width of the image is very long then also it will mess up the overall website. The images I save in the local drive are saved maintaining the ratio? Let say user decides to upload image 1(height)*32(width). When he uploads this image, the script is made to resize the user uploaded image to height:1000px(just an example) So the resulting image in 1000px(height)*32000(widht), you see now the image is abnormally large. Now while displaying this image in a box of 1000px * 1000px, what is the best way to display this image?
