    How can I refresh the tab in Visual Studio for a database table? Currently I re-open the table but I would think there is a way to refresh the table. I am referring to tables opened via the Server Explorer/SQL Express. The clear results does not seem to refresh.

    I am having problems with creating an in memory table, using H2 database, and accessing it outside of the JVM it is created and running in. The documentation structures the url as "jdbc:h2:tcp:///mem:' I've tried many combinations, but simply cannot get the remote connection to work. Is this feature working, can anyone give me the details of how they used this.

    I have a search page on my MVC site that contains a list of strings that I think the user might wish to search for in my database. This list of strings is available in my model class, so I can populate an Html.ListBox with those strings thus: <%=Html.ListBox("SearchStrings", new SelectList(Model.SearchStrings)) % My problem is, how can I tell which strings the user selected in that list in my postback action?     I have a USER table in database. The table has a RegistrationDate column which has a default constraint as GETDATE(). When using LINQ, I don't provide any data for RegistrationDate column to make it default. But SQL Server raises error. I think LINQ tries to insert NULL into the column. How can I make LINQ not to try to insert in the column RegistrationDate, because it has default value?

    I am trying to introduce the hstore type into the database of a project I'm developing. But the problem is that I have a slightly newer version of the Postgres server installed on my development machine than there is on the production machine. While I can simply execute the CREATE EXTENSION command locally, this command is unavailable on the production machine. Is there a way to create a script that will install hstore both on 9.1 and 9.0?
