I know there are social coding sites, but where can I start the project, and invite people or let people join? Then we can submit software to sourceforge.net. I know we can start projects at sourceforge.net, but is there anything more dedicated for Ubuntu developers, especially for Ubuntu and for the Ubuntu Software Center? I want to know if the user selected any users for invite so I can reward him with extra points. In the developer WIKI I saw that [ids] is transferred to requested page via POST. But how I can capture the values if I'm using JS/.NET? (Preferably through .NET so I can easily save values in the DB).

It uses the default Django auth system for users and registration and session framework. Now I want to implement a referral system to my system where people can invite other people by giving their referral link (ie mysite.com/referral/123123/ ) and if a person signs up AND buys an item, the inviter gets 5$. How can this the implemented ?

Google has the google contacts API for these purposes, does MSN publish a similar javascript API? Please note that I do not want to ask the user for their username/password like http://openinviter.com/ . Also, if anyone can provide some tutorials / examples I would appreciate it, as Microsoft docs are usually hard to understand :)
