• Checking for a valid and in-use email address in PHP

  I'm not sure if this is exactly possible, but figured I'd throw it out there. I have a client that is getting some hate-mail from somebody he knows via a contact form on a website that I developed for him. Currently I do the normal checks for a validly-formatted email address, along with a Captcha, but the client has requested that a user enter his/her own email address in the form. Now I realize that something like this could be easily spoofed by setting up a fake Yahoo account, etc, but the client's thinking is that this person is not quite that computer-literate. Is there any possibility for checking if an email address is valid and in-use? The only other things I can think of is turning his contact form into a mailto: link.

I dragged downloaded .mobileprovision file to Organizer There is a yellow triangle warned that "A valid signing identity matching this profile could not be found in your keychain" The others distribution provisioning profiles have no any problem. • Problem exporting RSA key -'key not valid for use in specified state'

  I'm encrypting the web.config in our web sites using aspnet_regiis. However, I want the ability to export the encryption key so if we need to move from Machine A to Machine B, asp.net will be able to decrypt it. When I run aspnetregiis -px "NetFrameworkConfigurationKey" c:\keys.xml -pri, I get the following : 'Key not valid for use in specified state'. I've seen all kinds of responses online but they don't seem to apply. It's not an invalid key because when I use aspnet_regiis to encrypt sections of the web.config, they encrypt fine. Ideas?

  Recently, i have upgraded my iPhone SDK OS from version 2.2.1 to 3.0 version. After that while building my application i get an error the the provisioning profile has expired. So i created a new provisioning profile. Then i made the distribution of my application with the provisioning profile. But i get an error in iTunes while syncing my application into iPhone device. The error message is "The application"iGVA " was not installed on the iPhone because the entitlements are not valid." I checked the code signing Entitlements that contains the correct entitlement plist file. Please suggest me to solve it out. Any help would be appreciated ! Sathiya

  Hi In a MVC application i want to validate the email addresses. I want to get the valid emailID from the list.If I use the emailaddress from the address book of any mail account then the name of the user get appended with the emailID .eg:"Ayushi Soni" ,.. and then copy these address to a textbox in an MVC application. Now I want to retrieve the actual EmailID from the list ignoring the name that is appended.Is there any utitliy or jquery that we can use to filter this out and validate the filtered email.   The following code #include <stdio.h> template <typename T, T v> class Tem { T t; Tem() { t = v; } }; typedef Tem<FILE*,NULL> TemFile; when compiled in a .mm file (Objective C++) by Xcode on MacOS X, throws the following error: error: could not convert template argument '0' to 'FILE*'. What's going on, please? The code in question compiled fine under MSVC. Since when is the 0 constant not a valid pointer to anything? Is this an artifact of Objective C++ (as opposed to vanilla C++)?

• valid json still fails on IE with jquery's ajax or getJSON callbacks

  everytime my page loads, im supposed to create a datatable (also a jquery plugin) but when im fetching the contents, using .ajax or .getJSON always goes straight ahead to the error function, without even telling me what went wrong inside the callback $.ajax({ cache: false, type: "POST", url: oSettings.sAjaxSource, data: {'newdate' : date}, contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", dataType: "json", success: function(json) { console.log('retrieving json data'); }, error: function() { console.log("An error has occurred.   I'm trying to submit my second app to the App Store. I've followed all the instructions to the best of my knowledge, but I keep getting this error when I try to build and run: "a valid provisioning file for this executable was not found" I'm letting XCode auto select the profile automatically. The one I'd like to select is greyed out. But the dropdown selection in the Build tab of the Target window says "profile doesn't match application identifier" The other thing I don't get about this is that the selection dropdown shows "com.mycompany.myapp" and then "ABCDEDFG.com.mycompany.myapp" (both of those made up) so that I see they don't match. I have the unique identifier profile installed in the Organizer and in plist file. I'm totally confused. I have followed the instructions in my book a few times and just can't get it.

  Hi everybody! I am having a general problem finding a good algorithm for generating each possible assignment for some integers in different arrays. Lets say I have n arrays and m numbers (I can have more arrays than numbers, more numbers than arrays or as much arrays as numbers). As an example I have the numbers 1,2,3 and three arrays: { }, { }, { } Now I would like to find each of these solutions: {1,2,3}, { }, { } { }, {1,2,3}, { } { }, { }, {1,2,3} {1,2}, {3}, { } {1,2}, { }, {3} { }, {1,2}, {3} {1}, {2,3}, { } {1}, { }, {2,3} { }, {1}, {2,3} {1}, {2}, {3} So basically I would like to find each possible combination to assign the numbers to the different arrays with keeping the order. So as in the example the 1 always needs to come before the others and so on... I want to write an algorithm in C++/Qt to find all these valid combinations. Does anybody have an approach for me on how to handle this problem? How would I generate these permutations?

• IE8 + Jquery ajax call giving parsererror from dJango : for json data which seems valid in Firefox

  The ajax call works fine in FF. the data returned is in JSON here is an example from FF firebug - {"noProfiles": "No profiles have been created, lets start now !"} When I try to print the error in IE8 (& in compatibility modes as well), it says "parsererror". But the output seems to be valid JSON. Here is the ajax function call I'm making.   i am doing a project where i need to output date of orders. and i do the following inside a for loop <?php echo date('M d, Y g:i A',strtotime($order['Order']['created']));?> for some strange reason, sttotime returns false. (Dec 31, 1969 7:00 PM appears instead.) i made sure $order['Order']['created'] is not empty and is valid. even stranger, that exact same piece of code works fine on the other page, only different is that, that one is not in a loop. but that cant be the reason right? i set timezone to America/New_York and $order['Order']['created'] is mysql timestamp. var_dump on said variable string(27) "2010-06-16 20:12:51"

  I want to be able to check if I can edit a cell in a database with a new object Example method declaration: something.isValid(Object newObject, row, column); Example cases: If the editing cell stores an Number and I give it a String, the method will return false... If the editing cell has to be different than every other entry and the new object is the same as something else, the method will also return false.... My main goal... I want to check a whole row, and if everything is valid, I will edit the whole row.
