Hi,
in one of our applications we're using alocal RDLC-report (displaying using a ReportViewer control) to print some tables and text entered by the user.
We'd like to give the user the ability of formatting the text. I thought I might use the respective WPF controls (embedded into the Windows Forms application) to make things easy.
Question is: how do I print the resulting FlowDocument within the local report? Is this possible at all?
Thanks for any advice,
Thorsten
I'm loading the Bootstrap CSS on my page from the CDN bootstrapcdn.com
<link href="//netdna.bootstrapcdn.com/twitter-bootstrap/2.3.2/css/bootstrap-combined.min.css" rel="stylesheet">
How can I test if the stylesheet was loaded, and if not provide a local fallback?
I do not want to wait for jQuery or other libraries to load before doing the test; I want all CSS to be loaded on the page first.
Hello,
I installed Ubunut and got the LAMP stack installed too. Now the problem is I have to be connected to the internet for the local apache webserver to work, else it does not. I changed the IP address on the dnshost, in the apache2.conf file, got the servername in the httpd.conf, which was empty.
Any ideas guys.
Thanks
Jean
I have run across several posts and articles that suggests using things like simulated annealing to avoid the local minima/maxima problem.
I don't understand why this would be necessary if you started out with a sufficiently large random population.
Is it just another check to insure that the initial population was, in fact, sufficiently large and random? Or are those techniques just an alternative to producing a "good" initial population?
Hello,

I have a need to create a database link that is a link to a schema on the same server. Is there a special keyword to use for this? ( like local or localhost )
I am not entirely sure what the name of the server is in tnsnames and that may be part of my problem.
This is for a complicated situation which involves a script that needs a database link to continue.

I get the following message when trying to execute etherpad/bin/run-local.sh:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/appjet/oui/main
I created CLASSPATH variable,
export CLASSPATH="/home/user/src/etherpad/trunk/infrastructure/build"
but that didn't help either. Although I can clearly see net/appjet/oui package in the build directory.
Heres the scenario:
User comes to my website and opens a webpage with some javascript functionality.
User edits the data through javascript
User clicks on a save button to save the data, thing is, it seems like they shouldn't need to download this data because its already in javascript on the local machine.
Is it possible to save data from javascript (executing from a foreign webpage) without downloading a file from the server?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Quick question.
I have a js function which gets called on the page every few seconds. It's an ajax update thing.
Being a function, I declare local variables. I don't want to use closures or global variables for various reasons.
I'd never considered this, but do I need to release/clear the variables at the end of the function to release memory or will js do this for me automatically ?
Thanks
Hi, I want to use leiningen to build and develop my clojure project. Is there a way to modify project.clj to tell it to pick some jars from local directories?
I have some proprietary jars that cannot be uploaded to public repos.
Also, can leiningen be used to maintain a "lib" directory for clojure projects? If a bunch of my clojure projects share the same jars, I don't want to maintain a separate copy for each of them.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm writing an application for windows mobile 6 and above that requires a local database.

Thanks in advance,

hi all
Histogram equalization is simple with histeq function but when it comes local hist. eq., im supposed to use a neighbourhood and move it along the image matrix and do it locally at each iteration. I wonder how I can implement it with Matlab, is it possible if i use histeq for each neighbourhood or is there any other predefined m-function for this operation.
I have a database that holds a time as UTC. This time can be shown in a webpage, so I’ve been asked to show it as local time in the page as it can be viewed from any country. A colleague mentioned something about getting the country settings from the current thread but I couldn’t find any details on this. Is what I want to do possible?
I have an sql table with data like this:
| theDate (datetime) | theValue (int) |
----------------------------------------
| 2010-05-17 02:21:10 | 5 |
| 2009-03-12 04:11:35 | 23 |
| 2010-02-19 18:16:53 | 52 |
| 2008-07-07 22:54:11 | 30 |
The dates are stored in UTC format in a datetime column, how can I convert them to local time (Norway)? Remember that the UTC-offset is not the same all year because of winter/summer-time.
