  • Getting the OpenID URL from a Grails Controller/Service

    - by firnnauriel
I'm using acegi 0.5.2 and enabled OpenID support. I would like to know how to accesss the URL (or username) returned by a provider (i.e. Google, Yahoo!). I can't find any docs about that so I traced the code of acegi and found this in GrailsOpenIdAuthenticationProvider: OpenIDAuthenticationToken response = (OpenIDAuthenticationToken) authentication OpenIDAuthenticationStatus status = response.status // handle the various possibilites if (status == OpenIDAuthenticationStatus.SUCCESS) { // Lookup user details UserDetails userDetails = _userDetailsService.loadUserByUsername(response.identityUrl) return new GrailsOpenIdAuthenticationToken(userDetails, response.status, response.identityUrl) } it seems that the response.identityUrl contains what i need. How can get it from a controller's (or service's) space? Thanks.

  • Add a thousands separator to a total with Javascript or jQuery?

    - by Matt
I have a function that sums a column of data in an html table. It does so admirably only I would like to have it put the commas in there that are needed to separate the thousands. Initially, you'll note, there are commas in the numbers being added. So that the function will add them, they are removed. How do I add the commas back in there? <script type="text/javascript"> function sumOfColumns(tableID, columnIndex, hasHeader) { var tot = 0; $("#" + tableID + " tr" + (hasHeader ? ":gt(0)" : "")) .children("td:nth-child(" + columnIndex + ")") .each(function() { tot += parseInt($(this).html().replace(',', '')); }); return "Total Pounds Entered : " + tot; } </script>

  • Python In-memory table

    - by nsharish
What is the right way to forming in-memory table in python with direct lookups for rows and columns.I thought of using dict of dicts this way, class Table(dict): def __getitem__(self, key): if key not in self: self[key]={} return dict.__getitem__(self, key) table = Table() table['row1']['column1'] = 'value11' table['row1']['column2'] = 'value12' table['row2']['column1'] = 'value21' table['row2']['column2'] = 'value22' >>>table {'row1':{'column1':'value11','column2':'value12'},'row2':{'column1':'value21','column2':'value22'}} I had difficulty in looking up for values in columns. >>>'row1' in table True >>>'value11' in table['row1'].values() True Now how do I do lookup if 'column1' has 'value11' Is this method of forming tables wrong? Is there a better way to implement such tables with easier lookups?.Thanks

  • jaxb XmlAccessType: PROPERTY example

    - by Bjorn J
    I'm trying to use jaxb and want to use the 'XmlAccessType.PROPERTY' to let jaxb use getters/setters rather than variable directly, but get different errors depending on what I try, or the variable isn't set at all like I want. Any good link or pointer to a simple example? For example, the below makes the groupDefintion not to be set when parsing the xml document: @XmlAccessorType(javax.xml.bind.annotation.XmlAccessType.PROPERTY) public class E { private EGroup groupDefinition; public EGroup getGroupDefinition () { return groupDefinition; } @XmlAttribute public void setGroupDefinition (EGroup g) { groupDefinition = g; } }

  • jQuery UI Dialog cause page jump on open & close on ASP.NET

    - by Gal V
Hello all, I have an ASP.NET C# page, with image thumbnails in it. I created a script that opens a jQuery UI Dialog on each hover on a thumbnail that shows me the thumbnail in larger size in a dialog view, and when I hover out - dialog closes. My little annoying problem is, that in every mouseover (trigger dialog to open) - the page makes itself 'longer' - a scrollbar appears on the side of the browser, and it seems like the page gets longer when a dialog is openning, but it shouldn't do so. When I hover off (mouseout) - the dialog disappears and the page returns to its normal state. Because of this- when I hover through the thumbnails, my page 'jumps'. I looked for a solution for this, and I've added return false; for each dialog open, and close - and it still doesn't make any different. Sorry for the unperfect english, and thanks for all helpers!

  • Simple PHP Regex question

    - by Dave Kiss
Hi all, I'd like to validate a field in a form to make sure it contains the proper formatting for a URL linking to a Vimeo video. Below is what I have in Javascript, but I need to convert this over to PHP (not my forte) Basically, I need to check the field and if it is incorrectly formatted, I need to store an error message as a variable.. if it is correct, i store the variable empty. // Parse the URL var PreviewID = jQuery("#customfields-tf-1-tf").val().match(/http:\/\/(www.vimeo|vimeo)\.com(\/|\/clip:)(\d+)(.*?)/); if ( !PreviewID ) { jQuery("#cleaner").html('<div id="vvqvideopreview"><?php echo $this->js_escape( __("Unable to parse preview URL. Please make sure it's the <strong>full</strong> URL and a valid one at that.", 'vipers-video-quicktags') ); ?></div>'); return; } The traditional vimeo url looks like this: http://www.vimeo.com/10793773 Thanks!

  • Routing and URI parsing in Codeigniter

    - by bobo
I have a route defined in CI, $route['user/activate-account/:any'] = "user/activate_account"; People access the route in this url pattern, http://mydomain.com/user/activate-account/user_id/12345/token/abcdefghijk Inside the activate_account function, I tried to use the following codes to retrieve the required data, $user_id=$this->input->get('user_id'); $token=$this->input->get('token'); But they return FALSE, does this mean that for this kind of url pattern, I am supposed to use the functions provided by the URI class (http://codeigniter.com/user_guide/libraries/uri.html) to retrieve the variables?

  • Dynamic/runtime method creation (code generation) in Python

    - by Eli Bendersky
    Hello, I need to generate code for a method at runtime. It's important to be able to run arbitrary code and have a docstring. I came up with a solution combining exec and setattr, here's a dummy example: class Viking(object): def __init__(self): code = ''' def dynamo(self, arg): """ dynamo's a dynamic method! """ self.weight += 1 return arg * self.weight ''' self.weight = 50 d = {} exec code.strip() in d setattr(self.__class__, 'dynamo', d['dynamo']) if __name__ == "__main__": v = Viking() print v.dynamo(10) print v.dynamo(10) print v.dynamo.__doc__ Is there a better / safer / more idiomatic way of achieving the same result?

  • Task scheduler ran a task twice

    - by Ross Buggins
Update: This has now happened two days in a row. Update: XML of scheduled tasks and images now included. Two servers located in London, both Windows 2012, have a scheduled task set to run at 3pm Monday to Friday. This has been set up for the last 5 months without a problem. However, on Monday the 28th of August they both ran the scheduled task at 3pm and then again at 4pm. When it was first reported, I thought it was too much of a coincidence to be the day after the clocks had gone back an hour. However, I’m failing in being able to explain why it has happened and if it is related to the clock change at all. The relevant logs from one server (the logs for the other follow this pattern as well): Event 129 15:00:20 Task Scheduler launch task "\3pm", instance "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe" with process ID 2388. Event 100 15:00:20 Task Scheduler started "{75a3590f-dec1-4dee-bd27-73d63a50a9d7}" instance of the "\3pm" task for user "x\y". Event 201 15:00:23 Task Scheduler successfully completed task "\3pm" , instance "{75a3590f-dec1-4dee-bd27-73d63a50a9d7}" , action "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe" with return code 0. Event 129 16:00:20 Task Scheduler launch task "\3pm", instance "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe" with process ID 1224. I've seen this question Scheduled task running twice from time to time which points to a bug at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2461249 being the cause. However, this doesn't include Server 2012 in it's list of problem operating systems. I’m struggling to explain this, can anyone else? The XML export for the scheduled task is: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?> <Task version="1.2" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/windows/2004/02/mit/task"> <RegistrationInfo> <Date>2013-04-16T14:04:17.4897806</Date> <Author>x\y</Author> </RegistrationInfo> <Triggers> <CalendarTrigger> <StartBoundary>2013-04-17T15:00:20</StartBoundary> <Enabled>true</Enabled> <ScheduleByWeek> <DaysOfWeek> <Monday /> <Tuesday /> <Wednesday /> <Thursday /> <Friday /> </DaysOfWeek> <WeeksInterval>1</WeeksInterval> </ScheduleByWeek> </CalendarTrigger> </Triggers> <Principals> <Principal id="Author"> <UserId>x\y</UserId> <LogonType>Password</LogonType> <RunLevel>LeastPrivilege</RunLevel> </Principal> </Principals> <Settings> <MultipleInstancesPolicy>IgnoreNew</MultipleInstancesPolicy> <DisallowStartIfOnBatteries>true</DisallowStartIfOnBatteries> <StopIfGoingOnBatteries>true</StopIfGoingOnBatteries> <AllowHardTerminate>true</AllowHardTerminate> <StartWhenAvailable>false</StartWhenAvailable> <RunOnlyIfNetworkAvailable>false</RunOnlyIfNetworkAvailable> <IdleSettings> <StopOnIdleEnd>true</StopOnIdleEnd> <RestartOnIdle>false</RestartOnIdle> </IdleSettings> <AllowStartOnDemand>true</AllowStartOnDemand> <Enabled>true</Enabled> <Hidden>false</Hidden> <RunOnlyIfIdle>false</RunOnlyIfIdle> <WakeToRun>false</WakeToRun> <ExecutionTimeLimit>P3D</ExecutionTimeLimit> <Priority>7</Priority> </Settings> <Actions Context="Author"> <Exec> <Command>"C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.4\php.exe"</Command> <Arguments>-f "c:\a.php"</Arguments> </Exec> </Actions> </Task> 29 October 17:00 - Update - Both servers have again run the scheduled task at 15:00 and 16:00. I've now updated the php file that is run by the scheduler to not actually do anything whilst I'm going through trying to solve this. I'm planning on restarting one server to see if this changes anything tomorrow. 30 October 08:25 - Update - When exporting the task XML I remembered that I hadn't included the fact that the scheduled task on second server was created by importing the XML of the task created on the first. The only difference between the two tasks is the path of the php file they are executing and the user account that they are running as.

  • Bluimp file upload send data to the server on .fileupload

    - by MyName
OK I've Googled...Googled and Googled again with no avail on how I can send data to the server like an ajax call's data option for the file upload: $('#file_upload').fileupload({ dataType: 'json', url: "@(Url.Action("UploadFiles", "ExcelUpload"))", // formData: function(form) { return [{ name: "dataTable", value : "@(Model)"}];}, progressall: function (e, data) { $(this).find('.progressbar').progressbar({ value: parseInt(data.loaded / data.total * 100, 10) }); }, done: function (e, data) { BadFile(e, data); } }); controller would look something like this: [HttpPost] public ContentResult UploadFiles(Mytype param1, MyType Param2) { .. } I want to do something similar to this: $.ajax({ url: "@(Url.Action("Action", "Controller"))", type: "post", data: { param1: value, param2: @(Model) } }); On the fileupload callback. Is this possible? How can I pass values to the ServerSide? Should I switch to a different uploader..? Please help me out! I need to resolve this as soon as possible.

  • Rails - how can I query the db w/o touching the sessions table

    - by sa125
Hi - I'm trying to provide a HTTP api to my app that queries a db that's read-only (for replication purposes). I find that my app crashes repeatedly when making a request b/c the call is trying to update the sessions table whenever I query the db. This doesn't happen when I return some text without hitting the database for info. class APIController < AplicationController def view data = Product.find(params[:id]).to_json # will fail data = { :one => 1, :two => 2 }.to_json # will succeed respond_to do |format| format.html { render :json => data } end end end How do I restrict it from touching the sessions table on this request (it's currently issuing an UPDATE on the updated_at field for that session). thanks.

  • Django model manager didn't work with related object when I do aggregated query

    - by Satoru.Logic
Hi, all. I'm having trouble doing an aggregation query on a many-to-many related field. Let's begin with my models: class SortedTagManager(models.Manager): use_for_related_fields = True def get_query_set(self): orig_query_set = super(SortedTagManager, self).get_query_set() # FIXME `used` is wrongly counted return orig_query_set.distinct().annotate( used=models.Count('users')).order_by('-used') class Tag(models.Model): content = models.CharField(max_length=32, unique=True) creator = models.ForeignKey(User, related_name='tags_i_created') users = models.ManyToManyField(User, through='TaggedNote', related_name='tags_i_used') objects_sorted_by_used = SortedTagManager() class TaggedNote(models.Model): """Association table of both (Tag , Note) and (Tag, User)""" note = models.ForeignKey(Note) # Note is what's tagged in my app tag = models.ForeignKey(Tag) tagged_by = models.ForeignKey(User) class Meta: unique_together = (('note', 'tag'),) However, the value of the aggregated field used is only correct when the model is queried directly: for t in Tag.objects.all(): print t.used # this works correctly for t in user.tags_i_used.all(): print t.used #prints n^2 when it should give n Would you please tell me what's wrong with it? Thanks in advance.

  • Trouble with javascript subtraction

I'm working on a simple subtraction problem, but unfortunately it keeps returning NaN Here is the function function subtraction(a, b) { var regexp = /[$][,]/g; a = a.replace(regexp, ""); b - b.replace(regexp, ""); var _a = parseFloat(a); var _b = parseFloat(b); return _a - _b; } And here is how I'm calling it. txtGoodWill.value = subtraction(txtSellingPrice.value, txtBalanceSheet.value); The numbers that get submitted to the function are ONLY Currency (IE: $2,000 or $20, etc) Now I know that I cannot subtract numbers with a $ or a ,, but I can't for the life of me figure out why they are getting evaluated in the equasion.

  • is it incorrect to define an hashcode of an object as the sum, multiplication, whatever, of all clas

This is not how I usually do it(I tend to follow Effective Java's guide-lines) but I always have the temptation to just do something like the above code. Thanks

I have a very simple function that takes a list of comma separated (x,y) points and imports them into a graph. I have FF, Chrome and IE8 installed. I use IETester to test for IE6 and IE7. // Import Data this.Import = function(data) { alert("Data in: "+data); var d; // Make sure the first and the last are start/ending parenthesis if ( (data[0] != '(') || (data[data.length-1] != ')') ) { alert("After if: "+data[0]+" "+data[data.length-1]); return false; } ... In Chrome, FF and IE8, I don't see the "After if:" alert. In IE6 and IE7, I see the following two alerts: Data in: (52,16),(100,90) After if: undefined undefined The "Data in" alert matches in all browsers. Any ideas?

  • Is this sufficient to prevent query injection while using SQL Server?

I am looking for the quickest and easiest function to prevent SQL injection on SQL Server as I prefer MySQL and do not anticipate many more SQL Server related projects. Is this function sufficient? $someVal = mssql_escape($_POST['someVal']); $query = "INSERT INTO tblName SET field = $someVal"; mssql_execute($query); function mssql_escape($str) { return str_replace("'", "''", $str); } If not, what additional steps should I take?

  • How does rolling back an application level transaction interact with SqlDataAdapter events in ADO.NE

    - by ilasno
When utilizing the RowUpdated event in the SqlAdapter class, i'm assuming that it is raised directly following the return of the database interaction that executes the update. If that update is part of an application level transaction (utilizing the SqlTransaction class) which is then rolled back, does this affect or interact at all with the RowUpdated event? Or is the RowUpdated event not raised until after the transaction is committed (this seems unlikely, but i couldn't find documentation)? If RowUpdated has already been raised, and then the transaction is rolled back, any good ideas on how to adjust something that may have been done in RowUpdated that should then, also be rolled back?

  • Ruby on Rails Join Table Associations

    - by Eef
Hey, I have a Ruby on Rails application setup like so: User Model has_and_belongs_to_many :roles Role Model has_many :transactions has_and_belongs_to_many :users Transaction Model belongs_to :role This means that a join table is used called roles_users and it also means that a user can only see the transactions that have been assigned to them through roles, usage example: user = User.find(1) transactions = user.roles.first.transactions This will return the transactions which are associated with the first role assigned to the user. If a user has 2 roles assigned to them, at the moment to get the transactions associated with the second role I would do: transactions = user.roles.last.transactions I am basically trying to figure out a way to setup an association so I can grab the user's transactions via something like this based on the roles defined in the association between the user and roles: user = User.find(1) transactions = user.transactions I am not sure if this is possible? I hope you understand what I am trying to do.

  • Insert string between two markers

    - by user275074
I have a requirement to insert a string between two markers. Initially I get a sting (from a file stored on the server) between #DATA# and #END# using: function getStringBetweenStrings($string,$start,$end){ $startsAt=strpos($string,$start)+strlen($start); $endsAt=strpos($string,$end, $startsAt); return substr($string,$startsAt,$endsAt-$startsAt); } I do some processing and based on the details of the string, query for some records. If there are records I need to be able to append them at the end of the string and then re-insert the string between #DATA# and #END# within the file on the server. How can I best achieve this? Is it possible to insert a record at a time in the file before #END# or is it best to manipulate the string on the server and just re-insert over the existing string in the file on the server?
