  • output Caching and postback

    - by Costa
    Hi If you have a button and a text box in a page, and the page is cached on the server. Put a breakpoint at page_load and run If you click the button, the Page_load breakpoint is visited only for first click. I am trying to get some explanation rather than "Wellll....ahhh mmmm it is a postback!!" I am expecting that the breakpoint will not be visited at all, it is a cached page. thanks

  • Character encoding issues?

    - by Santosh
    We had a a clob column in DB. Now when we extract this clob and try to display it (plain text not html), it prints junk some characters on html screen. The character when directly streamed to a file looks like ” (not the usual double quote on regular keyboard) One more observation: System.out.println("”".getBytes()[0]); prints -108. Why a character byte should be in negative range ? Is there any way to display it correctly on a html screen ?

  • Problem with character encoding on email sent via PHP?

    - by cosgrove
    Hi everybody, Having some trouble sending properly formatted HTML e-mail from a PHP script. I am running PHP 5.3.0 and Apache 2.2.11 on Windows XP Professional. The output looks like this: Agent Summary for Support on Tuesday April 20 2010=20 Ext. Name Time Volume 137 Agent Name 01:27:25 1 138 =09 00:00:00 0 139 =09 00:00:00 0 You see the =20 and =09 in there? If you look at the HTML you also see = signs being turned into =3D. I figure this is a character encoding issue as I read the following at Wikipedia: ISO-8859-1 and Windows-1252 confusion It is very common to mislabel text data with the charset label ISO-8859-1, even though the data is really Windows-1252 encoded. In Windows-1252, codes between 0x80 and 0x9F are used for letters and punctuation, whereas they are control codes in ISO-8859-1. Many web browsers and e-mail clients will interpret ISO-8859-1 control codes as Windows-1252 characters in order to accommodate such mislabeling but it is not standard behaviour and care should be taken to avoid generating these characters in ISO-8859-1 labeled content. This looks like the problem but I don't know how to fix. My code looks like this: ob_start(); report_queue_summary($yesterday,$yesterday,$first_extension,$last_extension,$queue); $body_report = ob_get_contents(); ob_end_clean(); $body_footer = "This is an automatically generated e-mail."; $message = new Mail_mime(); $html = $body_header.$body_report.$body_footer; $message->setHTMLBody($html); $body = $message->get(); $extraheaders = array("From"=>"***redacted***","To"=>$recipient, "Subject"=>"Agent Summary for $yesterday [$queue]", "Content-type"=>"text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"); $headers = $message->headers($extraheaders); # setup e-mail; $host = "*********"; $port = "26"; $username = "*****"; $password = "*****"; # Send e-mail $smtp = Mail::factory('smtp', array ('host' => $host, 'port' => $port, 'auth' => true, 'username' => $username, 'password' => $password)); $mail = $smtp->send($recipient, $extraheaders, $body); if (PEAR::isError($mail)) { echo("" . $mail->getMessage() . ""); } else { echo("Message successfully sent!"); } Is the problem that I'm using output buffering?

  • How Do you Declare a Dependancy Property in VB.Net 3.0

    - by discwiz
    My company is stuck on .Net 3.0. The task I am trying to tackle is simple, I need to bind the IsChecked property of the CheckBoxResolvesCEDAR to the CompletesCEDARWork in my Audio class. The more I read about this it appears that I have to declare CompletesCEDARWork as dependancy propert, but I can not find a good example of how this is done. I found this example, but when I pasted into my code I get an "is not defined" error for GetValue and I have not successfully figure out what MyCode is supposed to represent. Any help/examples would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Public Shared ReadOnly IsSpinningProperty As DependencyProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("IsSpinning", GetType(Boolean), GetType(MyCode)) Public Property IsSpinning() As Boolean Get Return CBool(GetValue(IsSpinningProperty)) End Get Set(ByVal value As Boolean) SetValue(IsSpinningProperty, value) End Set End Property Here is my slimed down Audio Class as it stands now. Imports System.Xml Imports System Imports System.IO Imports System.Collections.ObjectModel Imports System.ComponentModel Public Class Audio Private mXMLString As String Private mTarpID As Integer Private mStartTime As Date Private mEndTime As Date Private mAudioArray As Byte() Private mFileXMLInfo As IO.FileInfo Private mFileXMLStream As IO.FileStream Private mFileAudioInfo As IO.FileInfo Private mDisplayText As String Private mCompletesCEDARWork As Boolean Private Property CompletesCEDARWork() As Boolean Get Return mCompletesCEDARWork End Get Set(ByVal value As Boolean) mCompletesCEDARWork = value End Set End Property And here is my XML Datatemplate where I set the binding. <DataTemplate x:Key="UploadLayout" DataType="Audio"> <Border BorderBrush="LightGray" CornerRadius="8" BorderThickness="1" Padding="10" Margin="0,3,0,0"> <StackPanel Orientation="Vertical"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=DisplayText}"> </TextBlock> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal" VerticalAlignment="Center"> <TextBlock Text="TARP ID" VerticalAlignment="Center"/> <ComboBox x:Name="ListBoxTarpIDs" ItemsSource="{Binding Path=TarpIds}" SelectedValue="{Binding Path=TarpID}" BorderBrush="Transparent" Background="Transparent" > </ComboBox> </StackPanel> <CheckBox x:Name="CheckBoxResolvesCEDAR" Content="Resolves CEDAR Work" IsChecked="{Binding ElementName=Audio,Path=CompletesCEDARWork,Mode=TwoWay}"/> </StackPanel> </Border> </DataTemplate>

  • Show contents of the windows clipboard

    - by PsiX
    How can I see what the Windows clipboard currently contains without using the paste operation? I don't want the "pasted-to" application to perform any actions on the clipboard (e.g. formatting text, converting). Is there a tool which shows the clipboard's objects and their format (CF_BITMAP, CF_TEXT, etc.) and content (in simple bytes e.g.)?

  • How to test unescaped &nbsps; as a whitespace

    - by gleery
    I use apache common lang to unescape a block of html text which contains &nbsp;, I want to filter out blocks that contains only whitespaces. But I can't test the   as a whitespace. It's not in the normal whitespace list(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitespace_character), and I try to print its Hex form by calling Character.getNumericValue which return -1. &nbsp should be a whitespace,isn't? But How can I test it?

  • How do I perform this XPath query with Linq?

    - by John Hansen
    In the following code I am using XPath to find all of the matching nodes using XPath, and appending the values to a StringBuilder. StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(); foreach (XmlNode node in this.Data.SelectNodes("ID/item[@id=200]/DAT[1]/line[position()>1]/data[1]/text()")) { sb.Append(node.Value); } return sb.ToString(); How do I do the same thing, except using Linq to XML instead? Assume that in the new version, this.Data is an XElement object.

    - by Leeron
    I'm using flash.display.Loader to load this example SWF as a use-case for loading SWFs that uses flex charting components in an application I'm working on. This is the code I'm using to load the swf: Main.mxml: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <mx:Application xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml" creationComplete="onCreationComplete(event);"> <mx:Script> <![CDATA[ import mx.events.FlexEvent; import myLoaderClass; private function onCreationComplete( e:FlexEvent ):void { trace("Init!"); var l:myLoaderClass = new myLoaderClass(); this.addChild(l); } ]]> </mx:Script> </mx:Application> myLoaderClass: package { import mx.core.UIComponent; import flash.display.DisplayObject; import flash.display.DisplayObjectContainer; import flash.display.Loader; import flash.display.Sprite; import flash.display.StageAlign; import flash.display.StageScaleMode; import flash.events.Event; import flash.events.ProgressEvent; import flash.net.URLRequest; import flash.text.TextField; import flash.text.TextFieldType; import flash.utils.Dictionary; public class JittRunner extends UIComponent { private var displayedObjects:Dictionary; public function JittRunner():void { displayedObjects = new Dictionary(); if (stage) init(); else addEventListener(Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, init); } private function init(e:Event = null):void { removeEventListener(Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE, init); var mLoader:Loader = new Loader(); var mRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest('ChartSampler.swf'); mLoader.load(mRequest); } } } The thing is, the minute the swf is loaded I'm getting the following runtime error: Error: Could not find resource bundle messaging at mx.resources::ResourceBundle$/getResourceBundle()[C:\autobuild\3.5.0\frameworks\projects\framework\src\mx\resources\ResourceBundle.as:143] at mx.utils::Translator$cinit() at global$init() at mx.messaging.config::ServerConfig$cinit() at global$init() at _app_FlexInit$/init() at mx.managers::SystemManager/http://www.adobe.com/2006/flex/mx/internal::docFrameHandler()[C:\autobuild\3.5.0\frameworks\projects\framework\src\mx\managers\SystemManager.as:3217] at mx.managers::SystemManager/docFrameListener()[C:\autobuild\3.5.0\frameworks\projects\framework\src\mx\managers\SystemManager.as:3069] What am I doing wrong here?

  • Ajax call not working...

    - by Probocop
    Hi, I have a form that submits to a PHP script with Jquery and Ajax. The PHP script returns some XML. For some reason the Ajax success function is not firing, and the error ones is. Can anybody see where I'm going wrong? My Jquery is as follows $('#submit-excuse').submit(function (event) { event.preventDefault(); ws_url = 'http://jacamo.epiphanydev2.co.uk/content/inc/excuse-submit.php?excuse='+$('input#excuse').val(); $.ajax({ type: 'GET', url: ws_url, dataType: "xml", beforeSend: function() { $('p#response').text('Sending.'); }, success: function(xmlIn) { results = xmlIn.getElementsByTagName("ReportID"); }, error: function() { $('p#response').text('Error.'); } }); }); And my PHP script is as follows: $excuse = $_GET['excuse']; $badwords = array ( 'one', 'two', 'three', 'four', 'five' ); if ($excuse == '') { $error = 'enter something'; } else { foreach ($badwords as $word) { $pos = strpos($excuse, $word); if($pos !== false) { $passed = false; } } if ($passed !== false) { $username = 'xxxxx'; $password = 'xxxxx'; $message = $excuse; $url = 'http://twitter.com/statuses/update.xml'; $curl_handle = curl_init(); curl_setopt($curl_handle, CURLOPT_URL, "$url"); curl_setopt($curl_handle, CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT, 2); curl_setopt($curl_handle, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, 1); curl_setopt($curl_handle, CURLOPT_POST, 1); curl_setopt($curl_handle, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, "status=$message"); curl_setopt($curl_handle, CURLOPT_USERPWD, "$username:$password"); $buffer = curl_exec($curl_handle); curl_close($curl_handle); $passed = 'yes'; } echo "<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>\n"; echo "\t<result>\n"; echo "\t\t<passed>" . $passed .   • how to properly transfer user input from index to invoice?

    - by Romel
    I got a dillema, I'm trying to find a solution for my code. How do I make it so that when the user inputs a given quantity in the text box from the index.php it will transfer that input quantity to the invoice.php. I've tried doing the post method but it seems like it's not working :/ As always, any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated! I hope it's something simple:( Here's my code: index.php <html> <style> body{ background-image: url('URL HERE'); font-family: "Helvetica"; font-size:15px; } h1{ color:black; text-align:center; } p{ font-size:15px; } </style> <h1> STORE TITLE HERE </h1> <body> <form action="login.php" method="post"> <?php //Include products info.inc (Which holds all our product arrays and info) //Credit: Tracy & Mark (THank you!) include 'products_info.inc'; /*The following code centers my table on the page, makes the table background white, makes the table 50% of the browser window, gives it a border of 1 px, gives a padding of 2 px between the cell border and content, and gives 1 px of spacing between cells. */ echo "<table align=center bgcolor='FFFFFF' width=50% border=1 cellpadding=1 cellspacing=2>"; //Credit: Tracy & Mark (THank you!) echo '<th>Product</th> <th>Description</th> <th>Price</th> <th>Quantity</th>'; //The following code loops through the whole table body and then prints each row. for($i=0; $i<count($allfood); $i++) { //Credit: Tracy & Mark (THank you!) echo "<tr align=center>"; echo "<td>{$allfood[$i]['Product']}</td>"; echo "<td>{$allfood[$i]['Description']}</td>"; echo "<td>{$allfood[$i]['Price']}</td>"; echo "<td>{$allfood[$i]['Quantity']}</td>"; echo "</tr>"; } //This code ends the table. echo "</table>"; echo "<br>"; ?> <br><center><input type='submit' name='purchase' value='Purchase'></center> </form> </body> </html> And here's my invoice.php <html> <style> body{ background-image: url('URL HERE'); font-family: "Helvetica"; font-size:15px; } h1{ color:black; text-align:center; } p{ font-size:15px; } </style> <h1> Invoice </h1> </html> <?php //Include products info.inc (Which holds all our product arrays and info) //Credit: Tracy & Mark (Thank you!) include 'products_info.inc'; //Display the invoice & 'WELCOME USER. THANK YOU FOR USING THIS DAMN THING msg' /*The following code centers my invoice table on the page, makes the table background white, makes the table 50% of the browser window, gives it a border of 1 px, gives a padding of 2 px between the cell border and content, and gives 1 px of spacing between cells. */ echo "<table align=center bgcolor='FFFFFF' width=50% border=1 cellpadding=1cellspacing=2>"; echo "<tr>"; echo "<td align=center><b>Product</b></td>"; echo "<td align=center><b>Quantity</b></td>"; echo "<td align=center><b>Price</></td>"; echo "<td align=center><b>Extended Price</b></td>"; echo "</tr>"; for($i=0; $i<count($allfood); $i++) { //Credit: Tracy & Mark (Thank you!) $qty= @$_POST['Quantity']['$i']; // This calculates the price if the user orders more than 1 item. $extendedprice = $qty*$allfood[$i]['Price']; echo "<tr>"; echo "<td align=center>{$allfood[$i]['Product']}</td>"; echo "<td align=center>$extendedprice</td>"; echo "<td align=center>{$allfood[$i]['Price']}</td>"; echo "</tr>"; } // The goal here was to make it so that if the user selected a certain quantity from index.php, it would carry over and display on the invoice.php if ($qty = 0) { echo "please choose 1"; } elseif ($qty > 0) { echo $qty; } /*echo "<tr>"; echo "<td align=center>Subtotal</b></td>"; echo "<td align=center></td>"; echo "<td align=center></td>"; echo "<tr>"; echo "<td align=center>Tax at 5.75%</td>"; echo "<td align=center></td>"; echo "<td align=center></td>"; echo "<tr>"; echo "<td align=center><b>Grand total</b></td>"; echo "<td align=center></td>"; echo "<td align=center></td>"; */ echo "</table>"; ?> <br> <center> <form action="index.php" method="post"> <input type="submit" name="home" value="Back to homepage"> </form> </center>

  • Accessing SVN repository from CCNet (CruiseControl.net) using an Active Directory user

    - by Tr1stan
    I have CCNet setup to talk to our SVN repository, which has it's ACLs setup using Active Directory groups. This is working fine, except I'm not happy with having the user name and password of the AD user stored in plain text on the CCNet instance. Is there a way to either encrypt the AD username/password, or get the CCNet service (I've tried running the service as the user and removing the the username/password section of the CCNet/SVN config) to use a domain account outside of the standard config?

I've looked through the entire output and there are NO references to http: I've searched for unsource Iframes, which cause this message, and there are none and other than jquery 1.4 there isn't even the text "iframe" in the source. I'm almost at an end trying the cause for this. Does anyone have any ideas

  • How do you specify a really large character in UIButton?

    - by Epsilon Prime
    I have a series of buttons that have suit symbols on them. Currently I provide these suit symbols as bitmaps. In preparation for iPhone 4 I'd like to use text instead. However Interface Builder rescales the button to account for whitespace underneath the symbol so I can't get the image to fill the button completely. Any hints on getting Interface Builder to behave?

  • Better alternative to autonumber primary keys

    - by Comrad_Durandal
    I am looking for a better primary key than the autonumber data type, namely for the reason that it's limited to a long integer, when I really just need the field to reflect a number or text string that will never ever repeat, no matter HOW many records are added or deleted from the table. The problem is I am not sure how to implement something like turning the current date and time into a hexadecimal string and using that as a unique field I can use as a primary key. Am I just being too paranoid about running out of space?
