  • Changing Image In an ImageButton After Being Clicked?

    - by BuZzZzJaY
    Creating a game in Android using multiple ImageButtons to display an image from the drawable folder and I want to change the button to a different image after the button has been clicked on. Here is the code for my image button: <ImageButton android:id="@+id/b56" android:layout_width="45px" android:layout_height="45px" android:layout_gravity="center_vertical" android:src="@drawable/black" /> I can't find anything about how to change the actual image of the button. You can change the color of the button by using the following code in the java file: b32.setBackgroundColor(0xAA00AA00);

  • R: Plotting a graph with different colors of points based on advanced criteria

    - by balconydoor
    What I would like to do is a plot (using ggplot), where the x axis represent years which have a different colour for the last three years in the plot than the rest. The last three years should also meet a certain criteria and based on this the last three years can either be red or green. The criteria is that the mean of the last three years should be less (making it green) or more (making it red) than the 66%-percentile of the remaining years. So far I have made two different functions calculating the last three year mean: LYM3 <- function (x) { LYM3 <- tail(x,3) mean(LYM3$Data,na.rm=T) } And the 66%-percentile for the remaining: perc66 <- function(x) { percentile <- head(x,-3) quantile(percentile$Data, .66, names=F,na.rm=T) } Here are two sets of data that can be used in the calculations (plots), the first which is an example from my real data where LYM3(df1) < perc66(df1) and the second is just made up data where LYM3 perc66. df1<- data.frame(Year=c(1979:2010), Data=c(347261.87, 145071.29, 110181.93, 183016.71, 210995.67, 205207.33, 103291.78, 247182.10, 152894.45, 170771.50, 206534.55, 287770.86, 223832.43, 297542.86, 267343.54, 475485.47, 224575.08, 147607.81, 171732.38, 126818.10, 165801.08, 136921.58, 136947.63, 83428.05, 144295.87, 68566.23, 59943.05, 49909.08, 52149.11, 117627.75, 132127.79, 130463.80)) df2 <- data.frame(Year=c(1979:2010), Data=c(sample(50,29,replace=T),75,75,75)) Here’s my code for my plot so far: plot <- ggplot(df1, aes(x=Year, y=Data)) + theme_bw() + geom_point(size=3, aes(colour=ifelse(df1$Year<2008, "black",ifelse(LYM3(df1) < perc66(df1),"green","red")))) + geom_line() + scale_x_continuous(breaks=c(1980,1985,1990,1995,2000,2005,2010), limits=c(1978,2011)) plot As you notice it doesn’t really do what I want it to do. The only thing it does seem to do is that it turns the years before 2008 into one level and those after into another one and base the point colour off these two levels. Since I don’t want this year to be stationary either, I made another tiny function: fun3 <- function(x) { df <- subset(x, Year==(max(Year)-2)) df$Year } So the previous code would have the same effect as: geom_point(size=3, aes(colour=ifelse(df1$Year<fun3(df1), "black","red"))) But it still does not care about my colours. Why does it make the years into levels? And how come an ifelse function doesn’t work within another one in this case? How would it be possible to the arguments to do what I like? I realise this might be a bit messy, asking for a lot at the same time, but I hope my description is pretty clear. It would be helpful if someone could at least point me in the right direction. I tried to put the code for the plot into a function as well so I wouldn’t have to change the data frame at all functions within the plot, but I can’t get it to work. Thank you!

  • Changing Tint / Background color of UITabBar

    - by pixel
    The UINavigationBar and UISearchBar both have a tintColor property that allows you to change the tint color (surprising, I know) of both of those items. I want to do the same thing to the UITabBar in my application, but have found now way to change it from the default black color. Any ideas?

  • GridView's ItemContainerStyle and selection states

    - by Roberto Casadei
    I'm trying to change the appearance of gridview items when they are selected. (Before, I used a trick with an IsSelected property in the ViewModel object bound to the containing grid and a bool-to-color converter, but I recognize that it is bad) To do so, I do: <GridView ItemContainerStyle="{StaticResource GridViewItemContainerStyle}" ...> ... and <Style x:Key="GridViewItemContainerStyle" TargetType="GridViewItem"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Red" /> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="GridViewItem"> <Grid> <VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups> <VisualStateGroup x:Name="CommonStates"> <VisualState x:Name="Normal"> <Storyboard> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(Grid.Background)" Storyboard.TargetName="itemGrid"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0" Value="Black"/> </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard> </VisualState> </VisualStateGroup> <VisualStateGroup x:Name="SelectionStates"> <VisualState x:Name="UnselectedSwiping"/> <VisualState x:Name="UnselectedPointerOver"/> <VisualState x:Name="Selecting"/> <VisualState x:Name="Selected"> <Storyboard> <ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames Storyboard.TargetProperty="(Grid.Background)" Storyboard.TargetName="itemGrid"> <DiscreteObjectKeyFrame KeyTime="0" Value="White"/> </ObjectAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard> </VisualState> <VisualState x:Name="SelectedSwiping"/> <VisualState x:Name="Unselecting"/> <VisualState x:Name="Unselected"/> <VisualState x:Name="SelectedUnfocused"/> </VisualStateGroup> </VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups> <Grid ... x:Name="itemGrid"> <!-- HERE MY DATA TEMPLATE --> </Grid> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> When I run the app, the items are Black (as in the "normal" state). But selecting them does not turn them into White. Where am I wrong? Moreover, it there a way to set "ItemContainerStyle" without having it to "overwrite" the "ItemTemplate" ???

  • Finding a simple object in a low-quality image

    - by Ramon Snir
    Hi, I want to do this thing in C# (or any other .NET language), not sure how: I have an image I captured from webcam and I want to find a specific simple object in it (let's say a red circle with a black square in it). The red circle can be a bit different from time to time (because of shadows) and the square might be also a bit brighter sometimes and even rotated a bit. Please help me!

  • Creating a Custom Compound Button Bar

    - by vijay
    I have to create a custom compound button bar control in Android like the one here. To create a button bar like this, I am thinking of extending a LinearLayout and add my buttons to it. The buttons have a black background but with a gradient fill; I am not keen on using PNGs since the color of the buttons can change at runtime. How can I get similar effect in Android? Thanks.

  • Can some explain why this wont draw a circle? It is drawing roughly 3/4?

    - by Brandon Shockley
    If we want to use n small lines to outline our circle then we can just divide both the circumference and 360 degrees by n (i.e , (2*pi*r)/n and 360/n). Did I not do that? import turtle, math window = turtle.Screen() window.bgcolor('blue') body = turtle.Turtle() body.pencolor('black') body.fillcolor('white') body.speed(10) body.width(3) body.hideturtle() body.up() body.goto(0, 200) lines = 40 toprad = 40 top_circum = 2 * math.pi * toprad sol = top_circum / lines circle = 360 / lines for stops in range(lines): body.pendown() body.left(sol) body.forward(circle) window.exitonclick()

  • Is there an open source immutable dictionary for C#, with fast 'With/Without' methods?

    - by Strilanc
    I'm looking for a proper C# immutable dictionary, with fast update methods (that create a partial copy of the dictionary with slight changes). I've implemented one myself, using zippers to update a red-black tree, but it's not particularly fast. By 'immutable dictionary' I don't just mean readonly or const. I want something that has reasonably fast 'With' and 'Without', or equivalent, methods that return a thing with slight modifications without modifying the original. An example from another language is map in Scala

  • Add to SortedSet<T> and its complexity

    - by Andrei Taptunov
    MSDN states the following SortedSet(T).Add Method : If Count is less than the capacity of the internal array, this method is an O(1) operation. Could someone please explain "how so"? I mean when adding new value we need to find a correct place to add a value (comparing it with another values) and internal implementation looks like a "Red-Black tree" with O (log N) insertion complexity.

  • How to display a status message in the Gnome panel?

    - by George Edison
    I have a Gnome applet I've been working on. It is written in Python and it displays the progress of something in a small label. My question is: what is the best way to display status notifications to the user? On Ubuntu, I notice that whenever I connect to a network or adjust the volume, a black box appears in the upper-right corner. Is there a way to do something like that with Python?

  • nginx - redirect a certain path to another domain

    - by Eli
    Hey there. I am very unfamiliar with nginx, as a forewarning, and also can't find any actual references on the regex system they use. So right now it's a black box to me. All I want to do is redirect a user trying to go to www.mydomain.com/mydirectory/X to www.myotherdomain.com/X . Seems like I should be using the rewrite command but the syntax of the regex is eluding me. Thanks in advance.

  • set highchart margin

    - by user1392330
    I have built a a higcharts charts and I am displaying them one at a time on mouseover. The jquery creates a floting div (depending on the cursor) with a border line 1px solid black and then the highchart method is being called to draw the chart. The thing is that highcharts exceed and left and bottom border is not shown. I tired 'margin' : chart: { renderTo: 'graph', defaultSeriesType: 'line', zoomType: 'x', margin: [ 10, 10, 10, 10] }, and still it does the same thing.
