HI ,
i am having a table like
<table id="toc" class="toc" border="1" summary="Contents">
</table>
i am trying to delete the entire table using javascript.how to do this??
I installed drupal-6.16.
I applied the patch from the post http://drupal.org/node/222926#comment-930745.
It works correctly in simple cases.
But for following code for counter is handled incorrectly:
<br><br>
Text
<br><br>
<!-- counter.1Gb.ua -->
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
cgb_js="1.0"; cgb_r=""+Math.random()+"&r="+
escape(document.referrer)+"&pg="+
escape(window.location.href);
document.cookie="rqbct=1; path=/"; cgb_r+="&c="+
(document.cookie?"Y":"N");
</script><script language="javascript1.1" type="text/javascript">
cgb_js="1.1";cgb_r+="&j="+
(navigator.javaEnabled()?"Y":"N")</script>
<script language="javascript1.2" type="text/javascript">
cgb_js="1.2"; cgb_r+="&wh="+screen.width+
'x'+screen.height+"&px="+
(((navigator.appName.substring(0,3)=="Mic"))?
screen.colorDepth:screen.pixelDepth)</script>
<script language="javascript1.3" type="text/javascript">
cgb_js="1.3"</script>
<script language="javascript"
type="text/javascript">cgb_r+="&js="+cgb_js;
document.write("<a href='http://www.1Gb.ua?cnt=1416'>"+
"<img src='http://counter.1Gb.ua/cnt.aspx?"+
"u=1416&"+cgb_r+
"&' border=0 width=88 height=31 "+
"alt='1Gb.ua counter'><\/a>")</script>
<noscript><a href='http://www.1Gb.ua?cnt=1416'>
<img src="http://counter.1Gb.ua/cnt.aspx?u=1416"
border=0 width="88" height="31" alt="1Gb.ua counter"></a>
</noscript>
<!-- /counter.1Gb.ua -->
It modifies the string
"alt='1Gb.ua counter' /><\/a>")</a></script>
to
"alt='1Gb.ua counter' /><\/a>")</a></script>
Does anybody have this code working?
If so how this can be fixed?
Thanks a lot in advance!
I have the desired effect on firefox, which is to display like this:
_________
| title |__________________
| |
| |
| |
| content here |
| |
| |
| |
| |
____________________________
but it simply displays a deformed rectangle in IE
What could be the possible issues?
EDIT:
This is the border of a webpage. The title is on the smaller box on top of the bigger one.
Here is the link to the webpage:

This does not display properly on IE
My website http://sbmcrushers.net can't pass XHTML strict validation. What should I do?
Maybe I can use:
<object data="include/index.html" type="text/html"
style="border:none; width:960px; height:244px; margin-top:-10px;"></object>"
But it scrolls when I use that.
Ok,
So problem here... when using list-style-position:inside in IE8 the first like is indented but every line after that is not. So the new lines appear under the bullet.
This is fine, but when I use a list with that css applied with an a tag within the li then the text automatically gets pushed to the second line, and the first line is empty.
When I remove the a tag from the li then it jumps back up.
Any idea on why this might be or is this a bug in the ie8 world or do I just need to double check my css?
Any insights would be much appreciated.
As asked here is some code
<div id="sub_nav">
<ul>
...
<li><a class="active_page" href="#">Liposculpture</a>
<ul>
<li><a href="#">What is Liposculpture?</a></li>
<li><a href="#">About Liposculpture surgery</a></li>
<li><a href="#" class="active_sub">After Liposculpture surgery</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Post Op Instructions</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Liposculpture Side Effects</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Liposuction Introduction to</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Tumescent Liposculpture</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
...
</ul>
</div>
For the CSS I will try and show it best I can
#sub_nav li {
width: 200px;
padding:4px 0;
border-bottom: 1px #CCC solid;
}
#sub_nav li a {
text-decoration: none;
color:#555;
padding:7px 15px 7px 15px;
display: block;
}
#sub_nav li ul li {
list-style-position: inside;
list-style-type: disc;
font: 11px Arial;
padding-left:15px;
color:#FFF;
border-bottom: none;
}
#sub_nav li ul li a {
padding:0;
margin:0;
text-indent: 0;
}
Hope this helps
I have an activity with two edittext controls. I am calling the requestFocus on the second edittext field since by default the focus goes to the first edittext control. The focus appears to be in the second edittext field (the second one gets the highlighted border), but if we try to enter any characters using the hardware keyboard the text appears in the first edittext control. Any ideas why it would be happening?
My application starts up another application. whereby, i want to remove the title bar of the application which is started using c#.
How can i do this, starting up with the piece of code below ?
//Get current style
lCurStyle = GetWindowLong(hwnd, GWL_STYLE)
//remove titlebar elements
lCurStyle = lCurStyle And Not WS_CAPTION
lCurStyle = lCurStyle And Not WS_SYSMENU
lCurStyle = lCurStyle And Not WS_THICKFRAME

lCurStyle = lCurStyle And Not WS_MAXIMIZEBOX
//apply new style
SetWindowLong hwnd, GWL_STYLE, lCurStyle
//reapply a 3d border
lCurStyle = GetWindowLong(hwnd, GWL_EXSTYLE)
SetWindowLong hwnd, GWL_EXSTYLE, lCurStyle Or WS_EX_DLGMODALFRAME
//redraw
SetWindowPos hwnd, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, SWP_NOMOVE Or SWP_NOSIZE Or SWP_FRAMECHANGED

background: url(girl.jpg) top left repeat-x;

I have an alternate solution is using border but how do i apply it here in my css.
I just discovered the "box-sizing: border-box" css property which solves a bunch of cross browser layout problems for me. The only issue I now have is that ie7 doesn't seem to support it. Is there a hack to get ie7 to support it?
document.write("window.location.href");&layout=button_count&show_faces=true&width=450&action=like&font=arial&colorscheme=light&height=21" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:21px;" allowTransparency="true"
i am trying to bind current url of my page to this html
how can i do that
I know there are many variations of this question posted, but none I've found quite provide an answer that works for this case.
I basically have two left floated divs. Inside those two divs are div headers and tabled content.
I want the Div headers (Hour/Minute) to stretch to the width of the tabled content, but they only do this in FF and Chrome, not IE7. IE7 is my works official browser so the one I need it to work with the most.
Here is the CSS:
#ui-timepicker-div { padding:0.2em; }
#ui-timepicker-hours { float:left; }
#ui-timepicker-minutes { margin:0 0 0 0.2em; float:left; }
.ui-timepicker .ui-timepicker-header { padding:0.2em 0; }
.ui-timepicker .ui-timepicker-title { line-height:1.8em; text-align:center; }
.ui-timepicker table { margin:0.15em 0 0 0; font-size:.9em; border-collapse:collapse; }
.ui-timepicker td { padding:1px; width:2.2em; }
.ui-timepicker th, .ui-timepicker td { border:0; }
.ui-timepicker td a {
display:block;
padding:0.2em 0.3em 0.2em 0.5em;
text-align:right;
text-decoration:none;
}
Here is the HTML (did not include tabled content):
<div style="position: absolute; top: 252.667px; left: 648px; z-index: 1; display: none;" class="ui-timepicker ui-widget ui-widget-content ui-helper-clearfix ui-corner-all" id="ui-timepicker-div">
<div id="ui-timepicker-hours">
<div class="ui-timepicker-header ui-widget-header ui-helper-clearfix ui-corner-all">
<div class="ui-timepicker-title">Hour</div>
</div>
<table class="ui-timepicker">
</table>
</div>
<div id="ui-timepicker-minutes">
<div class="ui-timepicker-header ui-widget-header ui-helper-clearfix ui-corner-all">
<div class="ui-timepicker-title">Minutes</div>
</div>
<table class="ui-timepicker">
</table>
</div>
</div>
I'm a beginner in php, and I am trying to create a login and logout. But I am having problems in logging out. My logout just calls for the login form which is this:
<?
session_start();
session_destroy();
?>
<table width="300" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="1" bgcolor="#CCCCCC">
<tr>
<form name="form1" method="post" action="checklogin.php">
<td>
<table width="100%" border="0" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1" bgcolor="#FFFFFF">
<tr>
<td colspan="3"><strong>Member Login </strong></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td width="78">Username</td>
<td width="6">:</td>
<td width="294"><input name="myusername" type="text" id="myusername"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>Password</td>
<td>:</td>
<td><input name="mypassword" type="text" id="mypassword"></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td> </td>
<td> </td>
<td><input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Login"></td>
</tr>
</table>
</td>
</form>
</tr>
</table>
My problem is, when I try to press the back button in the browser. Whoever user is using it can still access what is not supposed to be accessed when a user hasn't logged in.
Do I need to add a code on the user page?
I have this code on the user page:
<?
session_start();
if(!session_is_registered(myusername)){
header("location:main_login.php");
}
?>
What can you recommend that I would do so that a script will prompt to enter the username and password again when a user clicks on the back button.
Hi,
I have this page.
login: [email protected]
password: m
As you can see in IE7 there isn't any border below 'Alcorcon', 'Madrid', etc. In FF yes.
Why?
Regards
Javi
it's fine but in IE7 when we type something more than textbox width background image of textbox goes opposite to typing direction.
#searchBox input {
background:url("../images/search-box-bg.gif") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
border:medium none;
outline:medium none;
padding:5px 4px 5px 22px;
width:90px;
}
IN IE7
This might seem like a bit of a design/css question but i really need some help.
This is the page http://library.permilia.com/Gavin/version2.0_beta/lead.html
It works on every browsers imaginable except chrome.
By it works i mean it applies a class .error that sets the borders to 1px solid #f00 which is a red border. In chrome for some reason you cannot change it no matter what!
Anybody got any ideas?
Here is something that has bogged me down for quite sometime. I have created two fiddles so you can test live:
Fiddle #1: http://www.jsfiddle.net/Jdk9R/2/
Fiddle #2: http://www.jsfiddle.net/d5PEu/
Looking at the Fiddle #1 you can make out that if the text is not formatted properly with spaces, the text overflows the border. How do i make this function similar to fiddle #2? Or is this unavoidable?
I'm created a very large map with many poly areas (over 20 coordinates each) for regions within the map. However, you can't add css to the AREA tag as I was told it's not a visible element. What I want to do is when the user hovers over an area on the map, I want it to be "highlighted" by applying a 1px border to the specific AREA element. Is there a way of doing this? No, I'm not going to resort using rectangles.
Code is not running on .click when I have this:
$(".cancel").click(function() {
alert("got here");
$(this).closest(":dialog").dialog("close");
});
<a class="cancel" href=""><img src="images/cancelButton.gif" border="0" /></a>
It's got to be something stupid, but I cannot see it.
I have a problem getting to the original source of a command using ExecutedRoutedEventArgs.
I'm creating a simple splitbutton, in which a menu will appear below a dedicated button, as another button is pressed. When I click a menuitem in the appearing menu a command is fired. This command is registered on the splitbutton. And the idea is to get to the menuitem beeing clicked, by using the ExecutedRoutedEventsArgs.
Ok, now the problem. If I choose to have the popup menu shown by default (IsOpen="True") and I click one of the menuitems I can get to the originalsource (thus the menuitem) from the ExecutedRoutedEventArgs - no problem. However, if I first click the button to show the menu and THEN click on a menuitem, the originalsource of the command will be the button instead of the MenuItem!
Here's the controltemplate for the splitbutton:
<ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type usc:SplitButton}">
<StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal">
<Button Name="mybutton">
<StackPanel>
<Popup usc:SplitButton.IsPopup="True" IsOpen="True" Name="myPopup" PlacementTarget="{Binding ElementName=mybutton}" StaysOpen="False" Placement="Bottom">
<Border BorderBrush="Beige" BorderThickness="1">
<Menu Width="120">
<MenuItem Header="item1" Command="usc:SplitButton.MenuItemClickCommand" />
<MenuItem Header="item2" />
<MenuItem Header="item3" />
</Menu>
</Border>
</Popup>
<TextBlock Text="MySplitbutton" />
</StackPanel>
</Button>
<Button Content="OK" Command="usc:SplitButton.ShowMenuCommand" />
</StackPanel>
</ControlTemplate>
The OK button fires a ShowMenuCommand on the SplitButton, which sets the IsOpen property on the Popup to True.
Any ideas why the OK button (after having activated the menu) is the OriginalSource when a menuitem is clicked?
Thanks.
I have a bunch of elements with a classname
<p class="red"></p>
<div class="red"></div>
I cant seem to select the first element with the class="red" using the following CSS rule:
.red:first-child{
border:5px solid red;
}
What is wrong in this selector and how to correct it ??
Hi All,

Hi All,
I am struggeling finding an effectient way to find a distance between a Point that interetcts a polygon and the border of that polygon. I was able to use the STDistance comparing the point to every point that made up the polygon but that is taking a lot of time. Using SPatial indexed wasnt much helpful because the STDistance is not part of any constraint and even when I did put the constraint, the index didnt help much.
I appreciate any feedback.
Thanks.
Hello everyone!
What I would like to do is retrieve the contents of a PHP file and insert it into a div every 60 seconds, basically refreshing the dynamic div. I've come up with the following code so far, however it doesn't seem to be working. The code is just like this, nothing extra, apart from the MYSQL login.
PHP to grab:
<?php
$time = date("m/d/Y h:i:s a", time());
mysql_query("UPDATE djs SET requesttime='{$time}' WHERE username='{$djs['username']}'")
or die(mysql_error());
$request_db = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM requests
WHERE haveplayed='0'") or die(mysql_error());
echo "<table style=\"border:1px solid;width:99%;margin-left:auto;margin-right:auto;\" border=\"1\">";
echo "<tr><th>Title</th><th>Artist</th><th>Dedicated To...</th></tr>";
while($request = mysql_fetch_array( $request_db )) {
echo "<tr><td style=\"width:33%;padding:1px;\">";
echo $request['SongName'];
echo "</td><td style=\"width:33%;\">";
echo $request['Artist'];
echo "</td><td style=\"width:33%;\">";
echo $request['DedicatedTo'];
echo "</td></tr>";
}
echo "</table>";
?>
The original PHP code is just the same, enclosed in a div with an id attribute of 'ajax_table'.
The JavaScript is:
// JavaScript Document
var xmlHttp_moniter
function moniter()
{
xmlHttp_moniter = GetXmlHttpObject_parcel()
if(xmlHttp_moniter == null)
{
alert("browser does not support HTTP Request")
return
}
var url="ajax_table.php?random=" + Math.random()
xmlHttp_moniter.onreadystatechange = stateChanged
xmlHttp_moniter.open("GET",url,true)
xmlHttp_moniter.send(null)
}
function stateChanged()
{
if(xmlHttp_moniter.readyState==4 || xmlHttp_moniter.readyState == "complete")
{
document.getElementById("ajax_table").innerHTML = xmlHttp_moniter.responseText
setTimeout('ajax_table()',60000);
}
}
function GetXmlHttpObject_parcel()
{
var xmlHttp_moniter=null;
try
{
xmlHttp_moniter=new XMLHttpRequest();
}
catch (e)
{
//Internet Explorer
try
{
xmlHttp_moniter=new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.XMLHTTP");
}
catch (e)
{
xmlHttp_moniter=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP");
}
}
return xmlHttp_moniter;
}
and that is on the page that is requesting the other php page.
