  • Spring - How do you set Enum keys in a Map with annotations

    Hi all, I've an Enum class public enum MyEnum{ ABC; } than my 'Mick' class has this property private Map<MyEnum, OtherObj> myMap; I've this spring xml configuration. <util:map id="myMap"> <entry key="ABC" value-ref="myObj" /> </util:map> <bean id="mick" class="com.x.Mick"> <property name="myMap" ref="myMap" /> </bean> and this is fine. I'd like to replace this xml configuration with Spring annotations. Do you have any idea on how to autowire the map? The problem here is that if I switch from xml config to the @Autowired annotation (on the myMap attribute of the Mick class) Spring is throwing this exception nested exception is org.springframework.beans.FatalBeanException: Key type [class com.MyEnum] of map [java.util.Map] must be assignable to [java.lang.String] Spring is no more able to recognize the string ABC as a MyEnum.ABC object.   • jackson failing to map empty array with No content to map to Object due to end of input

    I send a query to an api and map the json results to my classes using Jackson. When I get some results it works fine, but when there are no results it fails with java.io.EOFException: No content to map to Object due to end of input at org.codehaus.jackson.map.ObjectMapper._initForReading(ObjectMapper.java:2766) at org.codehaus.jackson.map.ObjectMapper._readMapAndClose(ObjectMapper.java:2709) at org.codehaus.jackson.map.ObjectMapper.readValue(ObjectMapper.java:1854) at com.jthink.discogs.query.DiscogsServerQuery.mapQuery(DiscogsServerQuery.java:382) at com.jthink.discogs.query.SearchQuery.mapQuery(SearchQuery.java:37)* But the thing is the api isn't returning nothing at all, so I dont see why it is failing.   • Render an SSRS report with a Map as an image map without actually having a ReportViewer on the page

    I have a report that has a Map with spatial data. Clicking an object on that map sends you to other pages on the site. I have tried a few different ways of displaying the report: If I put a ReportViewer on the actual page, the page sometimes takes 10+ seconds to load, but the report viewer creates a fully operable image map. If I create a ReportViewer in the code behind, I can use the Render method to to format the report as HTML4.0 and get the streamids from which I can extract the image (painfully). This is pretty fast (1-2 seconds), but only gives me an image, no image map. I can get a very similar functionality as the above example by using rendering extensions on the report URL to create an image and then set an image's source to this url. This is the fastest method, but still does not create an image map. So is there a way to create an image map from the report without having to use the ReportViewer? Or a way to substantially speed up the Report Viewer?

It dies with the following error using gcc 4.4.3: error: no matching function for call to std::map<int,std::vector<int,std::allocator<int> >,std::less<int>,std::allocator<std::pair<const int,std::vector<int,std::allocator<int> > > > >::map(<brace-enclosed initializer list>) Edit Following the suggestion by Cogwheel and adding the extra brace it now compiles with a warning that can be gotten rid of using the -fno-deduce-init-list flag. Is there any danger in doing so?

    How do I clear the value from the stack of a s:iterator? I'm trying to iterator over a TreeMultimap with a structure like: TreeMultimap<person, lineItems> persons; Using something like: <s:iterator value="attendeesForParticipantTypeEvents.asMap()"> <div> <s:property value="key.name" /><br /> <s:iterator id="currentSku" value="value"> <s:property value="currentSku.name" /><br /> </s:iterator> </div> </s:iterator> This works fine, except when the treeMultimap has null for lineItems, then it's taking the value from the previous iteration. So, a structure like: persons = {{"Person1",["Line1","line2"]}, {"Person2",["Line3","line4"]}, {"Person2",null}} Renders as: <div> Person1<br /> Line1<br /> Line2<br /> </div> <div> Person2<br /> Line3<br /> Line4<br /> </div> <div> Person3<br /> Line3<br /> Line4<br /> </div> Which seems to indicate that the value isn't being cleared on each iterator.   • Struct containing a Map in a Map? (C++/STL)

    I was wondering if it was possible to create a struct containing a number of variables and a map in a map. What I have at the moment: typedef std::map<std::string,double> lawVariables; struct ObjectCustomData { std::string objectType; bool global_lock; std::map<std::string, lawVariables> lawData; }; This struct is then passed on to another function as a single data block for that object. The structure setup is as follows: Each object has a data block that contains: its ObjectType, a bool for a lock, and a varying number of "laws" that could look like this: law1 -> var_a = 39.3; -> var_g = 8.1; law8 -> var_r = 83.1; -> var_y = 913.3; -> var_a = 9.81; Firstly, I'm unsure whether I should be using a Map within a Map and secondly even if this would be valid, I'm unsure how to fill it with data and how to recall it afterwards. I looked at maps because then I can search (on a name) if a certain object has a certain law, and if that law has certain variables. (sorry for the first messy post appearance, hope this is better :) )

    Greetings all, We have an active directory domain which enforces a strict password policy. Hooray! Now, for the project we are working on, we are going to be storing users of our website Microsoft's AD-LDS service as well as using that for authentication of our web users. By default, it is my understanding that AD-LDS inherits its password policy from the domain of the machine it's installed on. Is there any way to break that link such that we can define a lighter password policy (or none if we so choose) for users in AD-LDS without affecting our domain? Note: AD-LDS is going to be hosted on a machine which is part of the domain. Thanks in advance.

  • Serving static content from cookie less domain and mod_deflate

    I have two domain. One domain with my main website and the other with js/css/etc.. files, static content. mod_deflate is enabled for both domains, but when i run ySlow in FireFox it says none of my static content is compressed. When i bring back the js or css file to my normal domain it gets compressed right. Only when its served from the other domain is it not compressed. Do i have to do some more configuration for this to work? I am using this line in my .htaccess file AddOutputFilterByType DEFLATE application/x-javascript text/css text/html text/xml text/plain application/x-httpd-php I tried to but the line in my httpd.conf file but it gives me the same results. PS. If this is more of a serverfault question i am sorry for this. But i see a lot of questions here concerning mod_deflate and ySlow

  • Cannot receive email outside domain with Microsoft Exchange

    This morning we couldn't receive email from outside our company's domain (domain.com.au), but we can send email to outside (e.g hotmail, gmail, yahoo). When I tried to send email to my work email address using my gmail account, I received this message Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 Unable to relay for [email protected] (state 14). I tried using telnet to send email, and it works. But still I couldn't figure out why I can't receive email from outside. I'm not sure if I provided enough info. I'll try to provide as much info as needed to help me solve the problem. Thanks

  • Giving Select Windows Domain Users Symbolic Link Privilege

    I would like to setup select users on our domain to have the ability to create symbolic links on local NTFS drives and network shares without needing to run as Administrator, as part of an application with will call the CreateSymbolicLink() API directly. The default configuration for our users is to be Administrator of their computer and I think I am fighting UAC to make the privileges work the way that I want because of that. I found this link on MSDN: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-SG/windowssdk/thread/fa504848-a5ea-4e84-99b7-0eb4e469cbef which describes the interaction between the SeCreateSymbolicLinkPrivilege, UAC and a domain but really does not have a solution. Here's the three options I've come up with: 1) Create a new group, give the SeCreateSymbolicLinkPrivilege to the group and assign users to the group 2) Give each individual user (2 now, more later) the privilege 3) Give the privilege to the default User group which opens it up to all Users 4) Change config so Users are not Admins by default (probably would work but not likely) Based on my testing, only 3 works for me and that is the least desirable but I've only got a local server to test with, not a domain. I need to recommend to the admin how to set this up and also have something that we can easily explain to other users of our application that are on their own domain or not on a domain. The other option seems to be to create a Service that runs with a SYSTEM account that creates the links for the application but I'd rather not go that route. Thanks.

    we have a user on Exchange 2010 server who doesn't get email from one specific domain if her address is in cc: field. If she is a main recipient (To:) it goes through. We checked Exchange logs and it looks like our server doesn't even try to deliver it, it simply ignores her email address completely. We did several tests: send email with her email address in cc: field from another domain, succeeded send email with her email address in to: field from another domain, succeeded send email with her email address in to: field from affected domain, succeeded turn off all email rules check via webmail We also turned off firewall, antispam and antivirus for SMTP rule. Does anyone have any idea what could be an issue here? Thanks

    I've set up an ubuntu server 9.1 system with exim4 as a relay for e-mail on my network. I've told exim that it is part of a subdomain: sub.domain.com I can test and deliver messages fine to my gmail accounts. I cannot get exim4 to sent messages to [email protected] though. The error received in the logs shows that exim thinks it should be delivering messages for domain.com to localhost instead of the actual MX for domain.com Is there an easy way to modify the debconf update-exim4.conf.conf so that is has the relay_to_domains capability?

  • Windows NT workstation on AD domain

    We run a Windows NT workstation connected to special manufacturing equipment, that everyone is deathly afraid to touch. It has custom software and special cards inside of the machine, making a rebuild impossible. The problem is, we are migrating to an AD domain from an NT domain, and this workstation stills needs access to storage on the network (AD computers). How should I go about doing this, after we get rid of our NT Domain controller? Upgrading to 2000 is not an option (so says management). I know, I know, if it dies we are in trouble. But that's managements choice, we just need to get rid of this NT domain.

    Say we have a domain xyz.com registered with some registrar ... we pointed that domain to the name server of our dedicated server where the DNS will be hosted for that domain. Now, we just want that dedicated server to host the emails coming and the domain will point to abc.cloudapp.net (azure cloud app, they don't provide any static IP ... and only public url is given) Now, someone please helping me in editing/creating the DNS file on our dedicated server to make sure things work properly... if possible past here minimum settings we need in DNS file to make sure mails are on dedicated server and app is on cloud...   • Upgrading my Active Directory domain from Server 2003 to Server 2008 R2

    We are currently a single domain on a single network running Server 2003 Standard and Exchange 2007. I have a new server up and running (added to the domain already) with Server 2008 R2 on it. I want this to become my Primary Domain Controller, thus replacing my old Server 2003 server. I know I should just be able to run dcpromo on the new server, then decomission my old server, and raise my domain functional level to match the 2008 server. My only concern is the Exchange 2007 server. Is there anything I need to know relevant to it before I start? Thanks!

    Good morning, We have domain controller on windows server 2003 and another windows 2003 servers with terminal server and DB and regular workstations. Today in Israel we returned back to winter time (one hour back), domain controller now shows current time but all another machines in network show different time they went two hour back and there's difference in one hour between domain controller and another machines. I have tried to perform W32tm /resync /update but without success, where can be problem? Thank you.

Alternatively, could someone suggest a way using the module above that I can generate a list of systems on my domain that are NOT Domain Controllers (which is what I'm eventually trying to achieve).
