  • Seam unit test can't connect to JBoss4.0.5GA

    - by user240423
    Does anybody know how to connect with JBoss4.0.5GA in Seam2.2.0GA unit test? I'm using Seam2.2.0GA with the embeded JBoss to run the unit test, the module needs to call old JBoss server (EJB2, because the vendor locked in JCA has to deploy on old JBoss). it's typical seam test case, and I can't get it connect to JBoss4.0.5GA by using jbossall-client.jar from JBoss4.0.5GA. so far I tested the embeded JBoss can only working with JBoss5.X server. with JBoss4.2.3GA, it report: [testng] java.rmi.MarshalException: Failed to communicate. Problem during marshalling/unmarshalling; nested exception is: [testng] java.net.SocketException: end of file [testng] at org.jboss.remoting.transport.socket.SocketClientInvoker.handleException(SocketClientInvoker.java:122) [testng] at org.jboss.remoting.transport.socket.MicroSocketClientInvoker.transport(MicroSocketClientInvoker.java:679) [testng] at org.jboss.remoting.MicroRemoteClientInvoker.invoke(MicroRemoteClientInvoker.java:122) [testng] at org.jboss.remoting.Client.invoke(Client.java:1634) [testng] at org.jboss.remoting.Client.invoke(Client.java:548) This is the best result I could get (JBoss5.1.0GA jbossall-client.jar call JBoss4.2.3GA server in the embeded JBoss env), here is the ant script: <testng classpathref="build.test.classpath" outputDir="${target.test-reports.dir}" haltOnfailure="true"> <jvmarg line="-Dsun.lang.ClassLoader.allowArraySyntax=true" /> <jvmarg line="-Dorg.jboss.j2ee.Serialization=true" /> <!-- <jvmarg line="-Djboss.remoting.pre_2_0_compatible=true" /> --> <jvmarg line="-Djboss.jndi.url=jnp://localhost:1099" /> <xmlfileset dir="src/test/java" includes="${ant.project.name}-testsuite.xml" /> </testng> Can anybody help?

  • How to Configure SSL over Database in Spring?

    - by Sameer Malhotra
    Hi, I want to add SSL security in the Database layer. I am using Struts2.1.6, Spring 2.5, JBOSS 5.0 and Informix 11.5. Any idea how to do this? I have researched through a lot on the internet but could not find any solution. Please suggest! Here is my datasource and entity manager beans which is working perfect without SSL: <bean id="entityManagerFactory" class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.LocalContainerEntityManagerFactoryBean"> <property name="dataSource" ref="dataSource" /> <property name="jpaVendorAdapter"> <bean class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.vendor.HibernateJpaVendorAdapter"> <property name="database" value="INFORMIX" /> <property name="showSql" value="true" /> </bean> </property> </bean> <bean id="dataSource" class="org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSource" destroy-method="close"> <property name="driverClassName" value="com.informix.jdbc.IfxDriver" /> <property name="url" value="jdbc:informix-sqli://SERVER_NAME:9088/DB_NAME:INFORMIXSERVER=SERVER_NAME;DELIMIDENT=y;" /> <property name="username" value="username" /> <property name="password" value="password" /> <property name="minIdle" value="2" /> </bean> <bean class="org.springframework.beans.factory.config.MethodInvokingFactoryBean" lazy-init="false"> <property name="targetObject" ref="dataSource" /> <property name="targetMethod" value="addConnectionProperty" /> <property name="arguments"> <list> <value>characterEncoding</value> <value>UTF-8</value> </list> </property> </bean> <bean id="jdbcTemplate" class="org.springframework.jdbc.core.JdbcTemplate" scope="prototype"> <property name="dataSource" ref="dataSource" /> </bean> <bean id="transactionManager" class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.JpaTransactionManager"> <property name="entityManagerFactory" ref="entityManagerFactory" /> </bean> <tx:annotation-driven transaction-manager="transactionManager" />

  • Trouble parsing quotes with SAX parser (javax.xml.parsers.SAXParser)

    - by johnrock
    When using a SAX parser, parsing fails when there is a " in the node content. How can I resolve this? Do I need to convert all " characters? In other words, anytime I have a quote in a node: <node>characters in node containing "quotes"</node> That node gets butchered into multiple character arrays when the Handler is parsing it. Is this normal behaviour? Why should quotes cause such a problem? Here is the code I am using: import javax.xml.parsers.SAXParser; import javax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory; import org.apache.http.HttpEntity; import org.apache.http.HttpResponse; import org.apache.http.client.methods.HttpGet; import org.xml.sax.InputSource; import org.xml.sax.XMLReader; ... HttpGet httpget = new HttpGet(GATEWAY_URL + "/"+ question.getId()); httpget.setHeader("User-Agent", PayloadService.userAgent); httpget.setHeader("Content-Type", "application/xml"); HttpResponse response = PayloadService.getHttpclient().execute(httpget); HttpEntity entity = response.getEntity(); if(entity != null) { SAXParserFactory spf = SAXParserFactory.newInstance(); SAXParser sp = spf.newSAXParser(); XMLReader xr = sp.getXMLReader(); ConvoHandler convoHandler = new ConvoHandler(); xr.setContentHandler(convoHandler); xr.parse(new InputSource(entity.getContent())); entity.consumeContent(); messageList = convoHandler.getMessageList(); }

  • PHP filter_var() - FILTER_VALIDATE_URL

    - by Alix Axel
    The FILTER_VALIDATE_URL filter seems to have some trouble validating non-ASCII URLs: var_dump(filter_var('http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/', FILTER_VALIDATE_URL)); // http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/ var_dump(filter_var('http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guimarães', FILTER_VALIDATE_URL)); // false Why isn't the last URL correctly validated? And what are the possible workarounds? Running PHP 5.3.0. I'd also like to know where I can find the source code of the FILTER_VALIDATE_URL validation filter.

  • Blocking on DBCP connection pool (open and close connnection). Is database connection pooling in OpenEJB pluggable?

    - by topchef
    We use OpenEJB on Tomcat (used to run on JBoss, Weblogic, etc.). While running load tests we experience significant performance problems with handling JMS messages (queues). Problem was localized to blocking on database connection pool getting or releasing connection to the pool. Blocking prevented concurrent MDB instances (threads) from running hence performance suffered 10-fold and worse. The same code used to run on application servers (with their respective connection pool implementations) with no blocking at all. Example of thread blocked: Name: JMS Resource Adapter-worker-23 State: BLOCKED on org.apache.commons.pool.impl.GenericObjectPool@1ea6b4a owned by: JMS Resource Adapter-worker-19 Total blocked: 18,426 Total waited: 0 Stack trace: org.apache.commons.pool.impl.GenericObjectPool.returnObject(GenericObjectPool.java:916) org.apache.commons.dbcp.PoolableConnection.close(PoolableConnection.java:91) - locked org.apache.commons.dbcp.PoolableConnection@1bcba8 org.apache.commons.dbcp.managed.ManagedConnection.close(ManagedConnection.java:147) com.xxxxx.persistence.DbHelper.closeConnection(DbHelper.java:290) .... Couple of questions. I am almost certain that some transactional attributes and properties contribute to this blocking, but MDBs are defined as non-transactional (we use both annotations and ejb-jar.xml). Some EJBs do use container-managed transactions though (and we can observe blocking there as well). Are there any DBCP configurations that may fix blocking? Is DBCP connection pool implementation replaceable in OpenEJB? How easy (difficult) to replace it with another library? Just in case this is how we define data source in OpenEJB (openejb.xml): <Resource id="MyDataSource" type="DataSource"> JdbcDriver oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver JdbcUrl ${oracle.jdbc} UserName ${oracle.user} Password ${oracle.password} JtaManaged true InitialSize 5 MaxActive 30 ValidationQuery SELECT 1 FROM DUAL TestOnBorrow true </Resource>

  • gwt maven war plugin configuration problem

    - by Din
    I am developing a gwt application in maven. In this I am using maven war plugin. Everything works fine. When I give mvn install command it builds abc.war file in target folder. But it is not copying compiled javascript files ("module1" and "module2" directories present in target) to war directory. I want to get newly compiled javascript files in war directory. How to achieve this? pom.xml file <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/maven-v4_0_0.xsd"> <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion> <groupId>example</groupId> <artifactId>example</artifactId> <packaging>war</packaging> <version>12</version> <name>gwt-maven-archetype-project</name> <properties> <!-- convenience to define GWT version in one place --> <gwt.version>2.1.0</gwt.version> <noServer>false</noServer> <skipTest>true</skipTest> <gwt.localWorkers>1</gwt.localWorkers> <JAVA_HOME>C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_22</JAVA_HOME> <!-- convenience to define Spring version in one place --> </properties> <dependencies> <!-- Required dependencies--> </dependencies> <build> <finalName>abc</finalName> <outputDirectory>war/WEB-INF/classes</outputDirectory> <plugins> <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId> <configuration> <verbose>true</verbose> <executable>${JAVA_HOME}\bin\java.exe</executable> <compilerVersion>1.6</compilerVersion> <source>1.6</source> <target>1.6</target> </configuration> </plugin> <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>gwt-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.1.0</version> <executions> <execution> <goals> <goal>compile</goal> <goal>generateAsync</goal> <goal>mergewebxml</goal> <goal>test</goal> </goals> </execution> </executions> <configuration> <servicePattern>**/client/**/*Service.java</servicePattern> <noServer>${noServer}</noServer> <noserver>${noServer}</noserver> <modules> <module>com.abc.example.Module1</module> <module>com.abc.example.Module2</module> </modules> <runTarget>com.abc.example.Module1/module1.jsp</runTarget> <port>8080</port> <extraJvmArgs>-Xmx1024m -Xms1024m -Xss1024k -Dgwt.jjs.permutationWorkerFactory=com.google.gwt.dev.ThreadedPermutationWorkerFactory</extraJvmArgs> <hostedWebapp>war</hostedWebapp> <warSourceDirectory>${basedir}/war</warSourceDirectory> <webXml>${basedir}/war/WEB-INF/web.xml</webXml> </configuration> </plugin> <plugin> <artifactId>maven-antrun-plugin</artifactId> <executions> <execution> <phase>process-classes</phase> <configuration> </configuration> <goals> <goal>run</goal> </goals> </execution> </executions> </plugin> <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-war-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.1-beta-1</version> <configuration> <warSourceDirectory>${basedir}/war</warSourceDirectory> <webXml>${basedir}/war/WEB-INF/web.xml</webXml> <!--<webXml>src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/web.xml</webXml>--> <containerConfigXML>war/WEB-INF/classes/context/context.xml</containerConfigXML> <warSourceExcludes>.gwt-tmp/**</warSourceExcludes> </configuration> </plugin> <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>cobertura-maven-plugin</artifactId> <executions> <execution> <goals> <goal>clean</goal> </goals> </execution> </executions> </plugin> <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-surefire-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.4.2</version> <configuration> <argLine>-Xmx1024m</argLine> <skipTests>${skipTest}</skipTests> </configuration> </plugin> <plugin> <artifactId>maven-clean-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.2</version> <configuration> <filesets> <fileset> <directory>war/module1</directory> </fileset> <fileset> <directory>war/module2</directory> </fileset> <fileset> <directory>war/WEB-INF/lib</directory> </fileset> </filesets> </configuration> </plugin> </plugins> <resources> <resource> <directory>src/main/resources</directory> <excludes> <exclude>**/public/resources/**</exclude> <exclude>**/public/images/**</exclude> </excludes> <filtering>true</filtering> </resource> </resources> <filters> <filter>src/main/resources/build/build-${env}.properties</filter> </filters> </build> <profiles> <profile> <activation> <activeByDefault>true</activeByDefault> </activation> <id>dev</id> <properties> <env>dev</env> </properties> </profile> </profiles> <reporting> <plugins> <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>cobertura-maven-plugin</artifactId> </plugin> </plugins> </reporting>

  • Spring factory beans not always initialised before being used.

    - by aos
    Hi, I am using spring to initialise my beans. I have configured a bean which I intend to use as a factory bean. <bean id="jsServicesFactory" class="x.y.z.JSServicesFactory" /> It is a very basic class - which has 4 getter methods. One example is public final PortletRegistry getPortletRegistry() { PortletRegistry registry = (PortletRegistry) JetspeedPortletServices .getSingleton().getService("PortletRegistryComponent"); return registry; } I have a 2nd bean which uses this factory beans to set one of its properties <bean id="batchManagerService" class="x.y.z.BatchManagerService"> ... <property name="portletRegistry"> <bean factory-bean="jsServicesFactory" factory-method="getPortletRegistry" /> </property> ... When I start my server in RAD, this all works perfectly. However when I deploy to Linux I sometimes get the following error ERROR org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoader - Context initialization failed org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'batchManagerService' defined in ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/context/root/batchManagerContext.xml]: Cannot create inner bean 'jsServicesFactory$created#70be70be' while setting bean property 'portletRegistry'; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'jsServicesFactory$created#70be70be' defined in ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/context/root/batchManagerContext.xml]: Instantiation of bean failed; nested exception is org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanDefinitionStoreException: Factory method [public final org.apache.jetspeed.components.portletregistry.PortletRegistry x.y.z.JSServicesFactory.getPortletRegistry()] threw exception; nested exception is java.lang.NullPointerException I have tried adding depends-on="jsServicesFactory" to my bean batchManagerService but it didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks

  • How to add the time stamp to the log file

    - by swati
    ello Everyone, I am new to using apache logger . I have downloaded the log4j-xx and i have the following text configuration file Set root logger level to DEBUG and its only appender to mainFormat. log4j.rootLogger = TRACE, mainFormat, FILE mainFormat is set to be a ConsoleAppender. log4j.appender.mainFormat=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender mainFormat uses PatternLayout. log4j.appender.mainFormat.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.mainFormat.layout.ConversionPattern=%d [%t] %-5p %c - %m%n File makes a file of the output. log4j.appender.FILE=org.apache.log4j.FileAppender log4j.appender.FILE.File=log4j_HAPR001_OutputFile.log log4j.appender.FILE.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.FILE.layout.ConversionPattern=%d [%t] %-5p %c - %m%n i use the above config file to create the log file. Now i wanted to add the current time stamp to the log file. Is there any way to do this. If yes can some one please give me the instructions how to do. Thanks in advance.

  • emacs23 pops up debugger way too frequently

    - by werner r.
    Since I've upgraded to Ubuntu lucid and emacs23, Emacs pops up the debugger in situations, where emacs22 does not. For example, when hitting C-c C-c in org-mode, emacs22 simply states can do nothing useful at this location, whereas in emacs23 the debugger shows up. Debugger entered--Lisp error: (error "C-c C-c can do nothing useful at this location") signal(error ("C-c C-c can do nothing useful at this location")) error("C-c C-c can do nothing useful at this location") org-ctrl-c-ctrl-c(nil) call-interactively(org-ctrl-c-ctrl-c nil nil) That only illustrates the pattern -- the behavior is not limited to org-mode. Occurring every 3 minutes, it really annoys me. How can I prevent it? I've already tried to stop this using debug-on-error and stack-trace-on-error: it didn't work.

  • How do I build latest Tycho

    - by hedefalk
    I've tried to build Tycho now for a couple of hours and just can't get it to work. I've followed these instructions: https://docs.sonatype.org/display/TYCHO/BuildingTycho So, I've downloaded Eclipse 3.6RC2 and Delta-packs linked from this instruction (is it for 3.5 only?): http:// (remove space) aniefer.blogspot.com/2009/06/using-deltapack-in-eclipse-35.html I've added the DeltaPack to the TargetPlatform inside of the Eclipse-installation. I've installed Maven: Apache Maven 3.0-beta-1 (r935667; 2010-04-19 19:00:39+0200) I can run the first bootstrap of the build, but the second fails: mvn clean install -e -V -Pbootstrap-2 -Dtycho.targetPlatform=$TYCHO_TARGET_PLATFORM ERROR] Internal error: java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not resolve plugin org.eclipse.core.net.linux.x86_null -> [Help 1] I've tried different stuff, I built an older revision against 3.5 as in this blogpost: http:// (remove space) divby0.blogspot.com/2010/03/im-in-love-with-tycho-08-and-maven-3.html and that actually built a running maven, but that version then can't find the tycho plugin: org.apache.maven.plugin.version.PluginVersionResolutionException: Error resolving version for plugin 'org.codehaus.tycho:maven-tycho-plugin' from the repositories [local (/Users/viktor/.m2/repository), central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2)]: Plugin not found in any plugin repository I thought that the point was that the plugin was going to build in when I had built a Tycho-dist…? I want to use Google App Engine's servlet to get Paypal IPN messages, then store the messages into my own objects and ftp the objects to my ISP's website server, is this doable ? I heard Google App Engine doesn't support FTP. I don't expect Google to do it for me, but can I use my own Java FTP program in the web app that I upload onto the App Engine to do it ? Frank

  • How do I access SourceGear Web services using SOAP::Lite?

    - by user565793
    For some reason SourceGear provide an undocumented Web service on their installations. They actually ask developers to use the API instead because the Web service is kinda messy, but this is a problem in my case because I cannot use this API on a Perl environment, so their solution for my specific case is to use the Web service. This shouldn't be a problem. Using SOAP::Lite I have connected to several Web services in the past in the same way. But the lack of documentation is a major chaos if you don't know where the SOAP calls can be made. I only have an XML to decipher where to and how to make these calls. It would be great if a real SOAP genius could help me out in this. This is an example of the login call and the expected response: Request POST /fortress/dragnetwebservice.asmx HTTP/1.1 Host: velecloudserver Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: length SOAPAction: "http://www.sourcegear.com/schemas/dragnet/LoginPlainText" <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <soap:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <soap:Body> <LoginPlainText xmlns="http://www.sourcegear.com/schemas/dragnet"> <strLogin>string</strLogin> <strPassword>string</strPassword> </LoginPlainText> </soap:Body> </soap:Envelope> Response HTTP/1.1 200 OK Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: length <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <soap:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <soap:Body> <LoginPlainTextResponse xmlns="http://www.sourcegear.com/schemas/dragnet"> <LoginPlainTextResult>int</LoginPlainTextResult> <strAuthTicket>string</strAuthTicket> </LoginPlainTextResponse> </soap:Body> </soap:Envelope> I'm looking for a way to be able to assemble this somehow. This is my Perl example: my $soap = SOAP::Lite -> uri ('http://velecloudserver/fortress/dragnetwebservice.asmx') -> proxy('http://velecloudserver/fortress/dragnetwebservice.asmx/LoginPlainText'); my $som = $soap->call('LoginPlainText', SOAP::Data->name('LoginPlainText')->value( \SOAP::Data->value([ SOAP::Data->name('strLogin')->value( 'admin' ), SOAP::Data->name('strPassword')->value('Adm1234'), ])) ); Any tip would be appreciated.

  • yahoo's attribute exchange -> blank data is coming

    - by Gaurav Sharma
    Hello everybody, I am trying to build openid login system for my website. To do this I used JanRain's php openid library v 2.1.3. I am also using openid selector to select the openid provider from the list. I first created the attributes array that I need to fetch from the provider as follows: $attribute[] = Auth_OpenID_AX_AttrInfo::make('http://axschema.org/contact/email',2,1, 'email'); $attribute[] = Auth_OpenID_AX_AttrInfo::make('http://axschema.org/namePerson/first',1,1, 'firstname'); $attribute[] = Auth_OpenID_AX_AttrInfo::make('http://axschema.org/namePerson/last',1,1, 'lastname'); $attribute[] = Auth_OpenID_AX_AttrInfo::make('http://axschema.org/namePerson',1,1, 'fullname'); $attribute[] = Auth_OpenID_AX_AttrInfo::make('http://axschema.org/namePerson/friendly',1,1, 'username'); $ax = new Auth_OpenID_AX_FetchRequest; foreach($attribute as $attr) { $ax-add($attr); } $auth_request-addExtension($ax); and in the finish_auth.php file I wrote this to fetch the attributes returned $ax = new Auth_OpenID_AX_FetchResponse(); $obj = $ax-fromSuccessResponse($response); Google gives me all the attributes requested but yahoo doesn't (as stated here that yahoo now supports attribute exchange). Is there any limitation set by yahoo on attribute exchange too. (they give limited websites access to sreg extension of openid). :( Please help me, I am stuck over here. Thanks

  • Java Hibernate/C3P0 error: "Could not obtain connection metadata. An attempt by a client to checkout

    - by Allan
    I'm trying to get some code I was passed up and running. It appears to use the Hibernate framework. I've gotten past most of the errors tweaking the configuration, but this one has me dead stumped. It's trying to connect to two databases: gameapp and gamelog. Both exist. It seems to have issues connecting to gamelog, but none connecting to gameapp (later in the init, it connects to and loads other DBs just fine). Below, I've pasted the error and exception stack dump. I imaging there's something else in the configs, so I've also included the configuration file for that db. I know this is very vague, but I'm hoping some pro can see the stupid mistake I'm missing. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="GBK"?> <!DOCTYPE hibernate-configuration PUBLIC "-//Hibernate/Hibernate Configuration DTD 3.0//EN" "http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-configuration-3.0.dtd"> <hibernate-configuration> <session-factory> <property name="dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect</property> <property name="connection.driver_class">com.mysql.jdbc.Driver</property> <property name="connection.url">jdbc:mysql://127.0.0.1:3306/gamelog</property> <property name="connection.username">root</property> <property name="connection.password"></property> <property name="connection.useUnicode">true</property> <property name="connection.characterEncoding">UTF-8</property> <property name="hibernate.jdbc.batch_size">100</property> <property name="jdbc.fetch_size">1</property> <property name="hbm2ddl.auto">none</property><!-- update --> <property name="connection.useUnicode">true</property> <property name="show_sql">true</property> <!-- c3p0-configuration --> <property name="hibernate.connection.provider_class">org.hibernate.connection.C3P0ConnectionProvider</property> <property name="hibernate.c3p0.min_size">5</property> <property name="hibernate.c3p0.max_size">10</property> <property name="hibernate.c3p0.timeout">30</property> <property name="hibernate.c3p0.idle_test_period">30</property> <property name="hibernate.c3p0.max_statements">0</property> <property name="hibernate.c3p0.acquire_increment">5</property> </session-factory> </hibernate-configuration> Exception and stack trace: 2010-04-30 17:50:00,411 WARN [org.hibernate.cfg.SettingsFactory] - Could not obtain connection metadata java.sql.SQLException: An attempt by a client to checkout a Connection has timed out. at com.mchange.v2.sql.SqlUtils.toSQLException(SqlUtils.java:106) at com.mchange.v2.sql.SqlUtils.toSQLException(SqlUtils.java:65) at com.mchange.v2.c3p0.impl.C3P0PooledConnectionPool.checkoutPooledConnection(C3P0PooledConnectionPool.java:527) at com.mchange.v2.c3p0.impl.AbstractPoolBackedDataSource.getConnection(AbstractPoolBackedDataSource.java:128) at org.hibernate.connection.C3P0ConnectionProvider.getConnection(C3P0ConnectionProvider.java:35) at org.hibernate.cfg.SettingsFactory.buildSettings(SettingsFactory.java:76) at org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration.buildSettings(Configuration.java:1933) at org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration.buildSessionFactory(Configuration.java:1216) at com.database.hibernate.util.HibernateFactory.<init>(Unknown Source) at com.database.hibernate.util.HibernateUtil.<clinit>(Unknown Source) at com.server.databaseop.goodOp.GoodOpImpl.initBreedGoods(Unknown Source) at com.server.databaseop.goodOp.GoodOpImpl.access$000(Unknown Source) at com.server.databaseop.goodOp.GoodOpImpl$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.Executors$RunnableAdapter.call(Executors.java:471) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerRunAndReset(FutureTask.java:351) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.runAndReset(FutureTask.java:178) at java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor$ScheduledFutureTask.access$201(ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor.java:165) at java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor$ScheduledFutureTask.run(ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor.java:267) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:1110) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:603) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:636) Caused by: com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.TimeoutException: A client timed out while waiting to acquire a resource from com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool@ca470 -- timeout at awaitAvailable() at com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool.awaitAvailable(BasicResourcePool.java:1317) at com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool.prelimCheckoutResource(BasicResourcePool.java:557) at com.mchange.v2.resourcepool.BasicResourcePool.checkoutResource(BasicResourcePool.java:477) at com.mchange.v2.c3p0.impl.C3P0PooledConnectionPool.checkoutPooledConnection(C3P0PooledConnectionPool.java:525) ... 18 more

  • hibernate sybase db power function

    - by Vipin Thomas
    We are trying to use sybase function power to do mathematical calculation for one of the DB columns. The hibernate is generating power function as pow(?, xyzo0_.AmtScale) whereas sybase supports power function as Syntax POWER( numeric-expression-1, numeric-expression-2 ) We have tried modifying the hibernate.dialect. Have tried org.hibernate.dialect.SybaseASE15Dialect org.hibernate.dialect.Sybase11Dialect org.hibernate.dialect.SybaseAnywhereDialect but all dialects generate the power function as pow(?, xyzo0_.AmtScale). Is this hibernate issue or are we missing something?

  • How do I process multipart http responses in Ruby Net:HTTP?

    - by seal-7
    There is so much information out there on how to generate multipart responses or do multipart file uploads. I can't seem to find any information on how to process a multipart http response. Here is some IRB output from a multipart http response I am working with. >> response.http.content_type => "multipart/related" >> response.http.body[0..2048] => "\r\n------=_Part_3_806633756.1271797659309\r\nContent-Type: text/xml; charset=UTF-8\r\nContent-Transfer-Encoding: binary\r\nContent-Id: <A0FCC4333C6D0FCA346B97FAB6B61818>\r\n\r\n<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><soapenv:Body><ns1:runReportResponse soapenv:encodingStyle="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-encoding" xmlns:ns1="http://192.168.1.200:8080/jasperserver/services/repository"><ns2:result xmlns:ns2="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-rpc">runReportReturn</ns2:result><runReportReturn xsi:type="xsd:string">&lt;?xml version=&quot;1.0&quot; encoding=&quot;UTF-8&quot;?&gt;\n&lt;operationResult version=&quot;2.0.1&quot;&gt;\n\t&lt;returnCode&gt;&lt;![CDATA[0]]&gt;&lt;/returnCode&gt;\n&lt;/operationResult&gt;\n</runReportReturn></ns1:runReportResponse></soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope>\r\n------=_Part_3_806633756.1271797659309\r\nContent-Type: application/pdf\r\nContent-Transfer-Encoding: binary\r\nContent-Id: <report>\r\n\r\n%PDF-1.4\n%\342\343\317\323\n3 0 obj

  • Install JBIComponent from adminCommandsService

    - by acostela
    I'm trying to install a JBI component inside ServiceMix 4.3 from a Java class. This JBIComponent is packed as .jar. I wanted to know if the jbi.xml descriptor is mandatory in .jar package like in .zip. I searched a lot of info and I'm not quite sure but as it looks like for the java classes that install the component is necessary this descriptor but when my maven project creates two files, one .zip and one .jar. The zip one has a jbi.xml descriptor inside META-INF. But the .jar that is generated doesn't have this descriptor. http://grepcode.com/file/repo1.maven.org/maven2/org.apache.servicemix.nmr/org.apache.servicemix.nmr.bundle/1.5.0/org/apache/servicemix/jbi/deployer/impl/AdminCommandsImpl.java This is the class that I'm using to install it. Thank you very much to everybody.

  • Axis2 custom handler to turn security off

    I have a WCF service endpoint exposed over wsHttp binding with zero security config. When i call the service from Java I get the following error: org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Must Understand check failed for header http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing : Action at org.apache.axis2.engine.AxisEngine.checkMustUnderstand(AxisEngine.java:102) How do I set the mustunderstand header to false. I would prefer to do this in code than via configuration.

  • CSSOMParser in gwt client side

    - by Zoja
    What i would like to do is to read an css file from a GET request on the client side, and then i would like to parse it to check all the classes. The problem is that I need to implement CSSOMParser for that, and here are the imports import org.w3c.dom.css.CSSRule; import org.w3c.dom.css.CSSRuleList; import org.w3c.dom.css.CSSStyleRule; import org.w3c.dom.css.CSSStyleSheet; import com.steadystate.css.parser.CSSOMParser; the problem is that none of those classes ale probably javascript compilant, so they don't want to compile if they're on the client side. Is there a way to get it done ?

  • UndeclaredThrowableException due to SQLException in Spring + iBatis?

    - by jr
    Hello, I am getting the following exception when I typo the SQL driver name or the database server is offline, basically any SQLException. I can't determine where the UndeclaredThrowableException is coming from. Line 194 in SqlMapClientTemplate is this: logger.debug("Obtained JDBC Connection [" + springCon + "] for iBATIS operation"); Here is the trace: java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException $Proxy59.toString(Unknown Source) java.lang.String.valueOf(Unknown Source) java.lang.StringBuffer.append(Unknown Source) org.springframework.orm.ibatis.SqlMapClientTemplate.execute(SqlMapClientTemplate.java:194) org.springframework.orm.ibatis.SqlMapClientTemplate.executeWithListResult(SqlMapClientTemplate.java:249) org.springframework.orm.ibatis.SqlMapClientTemplate.queryForList(SqlMapClientTemplate.java:296) org.springframework.orm.ibatis.SqlMapClientTemplate.queryForList(SqlMapClientTemplate.java:290) some of my reading points to some type of class loading problem? I can't figure out where the $Proxy is getting introduced?

  • UnsupportedEncodingException thrown when using Resin and Grails

    - by knorv
    I've encountered a strange problem in a Grails webapp running under Grails: java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException is thrown quite frequently due to various unknown encoding strings (such as "ISO8859_10", "ISO-8859-10"), and the strange thing is that this is done entirely within the Resin and Grails code. That is - no custom code is involved when the exception is thrown. I'm not sure if it is Grails or the servlet container's code that should handle the exception. But I'd assume that the exception should be handled somewhere and not bubble up all the way to stderr. This is the exception in full: java.io.UnsupportedEncodingException: ISO-8859-10 at com.caucho.vfs.i18n.JDKWriter$OutputStreamEncodingWriter.<init>(JDKWriter.java:112) at com.caucho.vfs.i18n.JDKWriter.create(JDKWriter.java:79) at com.caucho.vfs.Encoding.getWriteEncoding(Encoding.java:231) at com.caucho.server.connection.ToByteResponseStream.setEncoding(ToByteResponseStream.java:137) at com.caucho.server.connection.AbstractHttpResponse.setLocale(AbstractHttpResponse.java:1683) at com.caucho.server.connection.HttpServletResponseImpl.setLocale(HttpServletResponseImpl.java: 115) at javax.servlet.ServletResponseWrapper.setLocale(ServletResponseWrapper.java:139) at javax.servlet.ServletResponseWrapper.setLocale(ServletResponseWrapper.java:139) at org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet.render(DispatcherServlet.java:1035) at org.codehaus.groovy.grails.web.servlet.GrailsDispatcherServlet.doDispatch(GrailsDispatcherServlet.java:290) at org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet.doService(DispatcherServlet.java:716) at org.springframework.web.servlet.FrameworkServlet.processRequest(FrameworkServlet.java:647) at org.springframework.web.servlet.FrameworkServlet.doGet(FrameworkServlet.java:552) at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:114) My questions: Should the exception be handled? If so, is it the responsibility of the servlet container (Resin) or the web framework (Grails)? How would you go about solving this? (I'd rather not having the exception log cluttered with exceptions that I can do nothing about.)

  • Why use Buildr instead of Ant or Maven?

    - by Scott Markwell
    http://buildr.apache.org/ http://ant.apache.org/ http://maven.apache.org/ What does another build tool targeted at Java really get me? Is it so hard to write a plugin using Java versus writing it in Ruby? If you use Buildr over another tool, why? Side question: How many build systems does the Apache foundation need targeted at Java?

  • How do I create a custom text field in Tapestry5 that renders some Javascript onto the page?

    - by shane87
    I have been trying to create a custom textfield in tapestry which will render some javascript when it gains focus. But I have been having trouble trying to find an example of this. Here is some of the code i have started off with: package asc.components; import org.apache.tapestry5.ComponentResources; import org.apache.tapestry5.Field; import org.apache.tapestry5.annotations.Parameter; import org.apache.tapestry5.ioc.annotations.Inject; import org.apache.tapestry5.services.ComponentDefaultProvider; public class DahserTextField implements Field { @Parameter (defaultPrefix = "literal") private String label; @Inject private ComponentResources resources; @Inject private ComponentDefaultProvider defaultProvider; @Parameter private boolean disabled; @Parameter private boolean required; String defaultLabel(){ return defaultProvider.defaultLabel(resources); } public String getControlName() { return null; } public String getLabel() { return label; } public boolean isDisabled() { return disabled; } public boolean isRequired() { return required; } public String getClientId() { return resources.getId(); } } I have been unsure on what to do next. I do not know what to put into the .tml file. I would be grateful if anyone could help or point me in the right direction.
