  • How to filter Wordpress posts using a hook in a plugin?

    I'm creating a Wordpress plugin and, being a newbie in the development on this platform, I'm stuck on this problem. I'd like to have posts in the loop filtered by categories, defined by the user through an admin page. I would actually like to be able to modify query_post() parameters in the plugin, but the only trick I found is to re-run the query_post() with my user-defined criteria, thing that I would like to avoid. I'm sure the solution is evident, but can't find it!

The thing goes that after making 'log in', if the user is not the administrator, he will have one or two tabs unavailable. The admin will have access to the whole system.     in .net Claim-based identity framework If i wanted to restrict users to do an operation (view or edit) on let's say an account, a particular account #123456.(i am talking about business entity, like a bank account.) Is it a good idea to create a claim for each account they can view or edit? Any disadvantages of having a lot of claims in a set? a system admin might have access to all accounts in the system thus creating hundreds of claims (maybe more than one for each account)

I mean, link my admin interface to post news link my visitor interface on my website to the wordpress news so the visitor can access the news So the visitor never find out that i'm using wordpress to generate the news and handle their comments and write my news ? Maybe it's possible but there is no point by doing so ? Thank you

    Getting the following error when trying to open a word document with macros to fill in the form fields: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Security\AccessVBOM. The user opening the word document does not have admin rights and the AccessVBOM flag is either not available or set to zero. I can set the flag for the HKCU (Current user) programmaticallybut cannot change setting for inunder HKLM . Please advise how can we enable the trust for the VBA project programmatically. Thx Kumar

  • Batch adding attribute to attribute sets

    I have a Magento installation with around 60 attribute sets. I need to add a new attribute to each of the attribute sets. There doesn't seem to anyway of doing this in the admin control panel. I am sure I can work it out by manually entering the correct fields into the database, but is there a way of doing this through the API or through the Import / Export profiles?   • In django, how can I include some default records in my models.py?

    If I have a models.py like class WidgetType(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=200) class Widget(models.Model): typeid = models.ForeignKey(WidgetType) data = models.CharField(max_length=200) How can I build in a set of built in constant values for WidgetType when I know I'm only going to have a certain few types of widget? Clearly I could fire up my admin interface and add them by hand, but I'd like to simplify configuration by having it built into the python.
