    I'm simply trying to run the basic openCV hello world tutorial code, but I'm getting errors. I have everything properly linked and built, but it's not working. This seems like it should be extremely easy, but it's not working. OpenCV is properly installed, and I even attempted to place opencv_core220d and opencv_highgui220d in the Debug folder of my project, but no luck. I'm running Visual Studio 2010 under Windows 7 64bit.   • Ubuntu server has slow performance

    I have a custom built Ubuntu 11.04 server with a 6 disk software RAID 10 primary drive. On it I'm primarily running a PostgreSQL and a few other utilities that stream data from the web. I often find after a few hours of uptime the server starts to lag with all kinds of processes. For example, it may take 10-15 seconds after log-in to get a shell prompt. It might take 5-10 seconds for top to come up. An ls might take a second or two. When I look at top there is almost no CPU usage. There's a fair amount of memory used by the PostgreSQL server but not enough to bleed into swap. I have no idea where to go from here, other than to suspect the RAID10 (I've only ever had software RAID 1's before).     I'm getting this error when trying to run unit tests from Eclipse with an Android Project. The list of Instrumentation Test Runners is empty in the Android preferences. [2009-06-17 23:57:51 - MyApp] ERROR: Application does not specify a android.test.InstrumentationTestRunner instrumentation or does not declare uses-library android.test.runner Google-fu failing me. It's also annoyingly decided that because I tried to run a unit test once, that's what I always want to do... Grr

    Hi, What is the best method to test the existence of an attribute on an XML object in ActionScript 3 ? http://martijnvanbeek.net/weblog/40/testing_the_existance_of_an_attribute_in_xml_with_as3.html is suggesting to test using if ( node.@test != node.@nonexistingattribute ) and I saw comments suggesting to use: if ( node.hasOwnProperty('@test')) { // attribute qtest exists } But in both case, tests are case sensitive. From the XML Specs : "XML processors should match character encoding names in a case-insensitive way" so I presume attribute name should also be match using a case-insensitive comparison. Thank you

    I have a custom timer that extends android.os.CountDownTimer. I have a test in the test project (standard Android/Eclipse project config) that tests the custom Timer. When I try to run this test, I get a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: android/os/CountDownTimer at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:698) You get the idea. Can I not run code that references android code code in junit test?

I'm just having a hard time figuring out what I should be testing when I test controllers and views. I know that you should test redirects and authorization in the controller tests, but what else? And what should go in view tests? If I'm "following the rules" and only putting loops, conditionals, and echoes in my views, then what is there left to test?

    Is it possible to quickly run single/all integration test in a class quickly in Grails. The test-app comes with heavy baggage of clearing of all compiled files and generating cobertura reports hence even if we run single integration test, the entire code base is compiled,instrumented and the cobertura report is getting generated. For our application this takes more than 2 minutes. If it was possible to quickly run one integration test and get a rapid feedbck, it would be immensely helpful. Thanks

    When I select an NUnit test in the Unit Test Sessions window and click debug, the window disappears. My breakpoints are hit, but if I hit F5, the Unit Test Sessions window does not return until the test returns a result or I stop the debugging session. This is preventing me from viewing any console output during tests. Any ideas?
