• Obtain SubVersion 1.4 executables for Windows

  I need to work with an old repository, whose db/format contains 2 From this question, I understand that this means it's version 1.4. I have only 1.5 executables, which produce a db/format containing 3 layout sharded 1000 I've tried to use the 1.5 svnadmin to verify the 1.4 repo, but it fails with 'vnadmin: Unknown FS type 'fsfs If anyone's got any ideas on how to fix this, that'd be great. My current working plan is to obtain 1.4 executables. The problem I have is that I've done a fair amount of searching, and I can't find any SubVersion 1.4 executable downloads. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I tried with the Cloister Black .ttf file but the generator responded with: The file you uploaded could not be converted. Currently only TrueType (TTF), OpenType (OTF), Printer Font Binary (PFB) and PostScript fonts are supported. If you're sure the font is valid, it is likely that the author of the font has decided to not allow modification and/or embedding of the font. This can happen quite often especially with "freeware" TrueType fonts. You must contact the author of the font for a less restricted version.

• Unable to Retrieve Simplified Chinese Characters From Form

  I have a page that displays content retrieved from XML with no problems: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <Root> <Fields> <NamePrompt>??</NamePrompt> </Fields> </Root> Page encoding is set to GB18030 and it displays perfectly. However, when I retrieve inputted text from HttpContext.Current.Request.Form that's been entered with double-byte characters, the retrieved string contains unreadable characters. Single-byte characters are fine, obviously. I've tried the following to no avail: byte[] valueBytes = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(HttpContext.Current.Request.Form["fullName"]); string value = Encoding.UTF8.GetString(valueBytes); I don't see this problem with other double-byte languages like Japanese or Korean. How can I successfully retrieve double-byte characters from a page that's GB18030 encoded?

  I am currently in the process of creating a mobile version of my web app. The app is being developed with Facebook's PHP Client Library. The issue: I am using the following mobile url to allow users to log in using the mobile devices: http://m.facebook.com/tos.php?api_key=APIKEY&v=1.0&next=http%3A%2F%2Ftweelay.net%2Fm.php&cancel=http%3A%2F%2Ftweelay.net%2Fm.php APIKEY being my app's actual Facebook API key. In the url I am telling Facebook to redirect the user back to http://tweelay.net/m.php when the user signs in or clicks cancel on the log in screen. I am pulling my hair trying to figure out why it keeps sending the user to http://m.tweelay.net/m.php which is currently an invalid end point. I have gone through all of my app's settings on Facebook and I cant find any that reference http://m.tweelay.net and going through all of my source code I cant find any that reference the m. sub-domain either.

• Error details in embedded IronPython

  Hi, I'm executing IronPython in my application. A script produces an UnboundNameException with the message "name 'source' is not defined". Because the script is correct in my opinion I would need more error information, but I'm not able to get them from the exception. The exception itself seems not to contain any information about line number of the source of the exception or something like this. I searched on Google, but all available information seems to be outdated. The Data dictionary of my exception is empty which means that Data["PythonExceptionInfo"] does not exist. The file version of my IronPython assembly is 2.0.20209.0 Any hint how to get more error details? cheers, Achim

• Monitoring process-level performance counters in Windows Perfmon

  I am sure everybody has bumped into this. As you scale a web server that uses multiple application pools, it's valuable to collect performance counters for each application pool 24x7. The only problem is - Perfmon links counters to application pools by process ID, so whenever an application pool recycles you have to remove the counters for the old process ID and add them for the new process ID. Since application pools recycle quite often (whenever you release a new version or patch the server), it's a major pain. I wonder if anybody has found a workaround for this? Perhaps a programmatic way to update Perfmon settings whenever an application pool starts up or some way to reference application pools by name instead of process ID? I'll appreciate any hints on this!

  I have created a simple Python module and want to distribute it with pip. I also want to install a Bash completion file together with the module. I'm installing the module with Python 2.7.1+ and pip 0.8.2. I have this setup.py: setup( name='jenkinsmon', version='0.0.1', description='Jenkins Job Monitor', long_description=open('README.txt').read(), scripts=['bin/jenkinsmon'], data_files=[ ('/etc/bash_completion.d', ['extras/jenkinsmon.completion']), ], install_requires = [ 'autojenkins', 'argparse' ], ) Now if I try to install the package with pip install -e ., the Bash completion file never gets installed together with the package. I also tried workarounds by specifying a MANIFEST.in, like described here: MANIFEST.in: include extras/jenkinsmon.completion But this also doesn't help - the completion files won't get installed. What can I do to install the Bash completion files?

  Hi guys, NSXMLParser is giving me the following error: "Error 65, Description: (null), Line: 1, Column: 47" I've checked the documentation, and it says that a space is required at column47??. Was hoping someone can help out on this? The raw xml file is as follows. • Execution of "mvn sonar:sonar" with no external access

  Hello, I try to execute the mvn sonar:sonar command on a machine where Maven is configured to have no access to external repositories (in reality, this is not exactly the case, but it helps me to explain my problem). So currently, if I run this command, I get the following error: [ERROR] BUILD ERROR [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] The plugin 'org.codehaus.mojo:sonar-maven-plugin' does not exist or no valid version could be found I think it means that I have some incorrect metadata in my local repository, as I have a [local repo]\org\codehaus\mojo\sonar-maven-plugin\1.0-beta-1 directory (with the JAR inside, of course). • Are there any real benefits to including javascript dynamically rather than as script tags at the bo

  I've read that including the scripts dynamically may provide some better performance, however i'm not really seeing that on the small local tests I'm doing. I created a jquery plugin to dynamically load other plugins as necessary and am curious as to if this is actually a good idea. • Change NSNumber value by allocating new NSNumber?

  I understand that NSNumber is immutable, but I still have the need to change it in my app. I use it because it's an object, and therefore usable with @property (if I could, I would use float or CGFloat in a heartbeat, but sadly, I can't). Is there any way to just overwrite the old NSNumber instance? I'm trying this: NSNumber *zero = [[NSNumber alloc] initWithFloat:0.0]; myNSNumber = zero but this doesn't change the value. This is a simplified version of my code, as I'm changing the root view controller's parameter (I know, not MVC-friendly). Still, the changing of the value should be the same assignment, right? Should I release myNSNumber first? What should I set the @property at for myNSNumber? Thanks!

  I am using the latest version of jqGrid: 3.6.4 This seems like a simple problem (or at least it did before I spent a few hours on it): When the grid sends a request to the server (to a controller action), its content-type is always: application/x-www-form-urlencoded; charset=UTF-8 and I would like it to be: application/json; charset=utf-8 but I can find no way of setting the content-type (there is no contentType option as you would find on a $.ajax call for example). So just to clarify, I am not asking how to set the content-type on a jQuery server request, but specifically using jqGrid, which does not provide an obvious option for doing this. Thanks, Nigel.

  I am using a fairly straight-forward script to open and parse several xml files that are gzipped. I also need to do the same basic operation with a ZIP file. It seems like it should be simple, but I haven't been able to find what looked like equivalent code anywhere.
