  • Cross browser window close event

    Is there a solution for cross browser event. I need to check if user closes their window and to throw an ajax request to my database to sign them out. I've looked everyone but most cases its not working in all browsers. Anyone have a solution? Or Alternative on how to do this perhaps a conditional statement depending on the browser? Thanks!

    I was playing around with ASP.NET Web Parts which has a "drop down" div. It's all the way to the right of the page. When I click to bring it up, it goes off the window.     A function I'm using has "display()" in it (or other things that display messages on command window), so it outputs a lot of things (x 1200) on command line when I run my code, which makes things hard to track and observe. Is there a way to suppress the output of this specific function? Ending the statement with semicolon obviously doesn't help.
