    I am trying to pass some data from one page to another page by using jquery but it dose not working, below is the code which I want to click the text in source page and the destination page will hide the current text.     I need to create a Set of objects. The concern is I do not want to base the hashing or the equality on the objects' hashCode and equals implementation. Instead, I want the hash code and equality to be based only on each object's reference identity (i.e.: the value of the reference pointer). I'm not sure how to do this in Java. The reasoning behind this is my objects do not reliably implement equals or hashCode, and in this case reference identity is good enough.

I tried if (something != "undefined") and if (something !== "undefined") However it seems to go into the if statement no matter what. If it is undefined it goes through. But if this field empty i get empty query result. Its possible make query like this with empty fields?

And then after less than a second, the text fields are emptied, and the text appended to the div is gone. Doesn't seem like it's a page refresh, though, since there's no empty page flash. What's going on here? I'm sure it's a silly mistake but Firebug isn't telling me anything.
