• Can i use a different parser for Axis 1.4?

  The current SAX parser takes a lot of time (20 minutes) and heap memory(around 400mb) to deserialize the response coming from the soap server as per the logs. Our response XMLs are of average size 4 mb. • JNI loses reference to native methods

  As an example for later use in Android I wrote a simple callback interface. While doing so i ran into the following error or bug or whatever. In C the two commented lines are supposed to be executed resulting in calling the C callback onChange. But instead i get an UnsatisfiedLinkError. Calling the native Method directly in Java works just fine. Calling it directly from C as presented here in the example also produces the UnsatisfiedLinkError. I'm open for any advice concerning this issue or work arounds and so on. • "Could not register destruction callback" warn message leads to memory leaks?

  Hello all, I'm in the exact same situation as this old question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2077558/warn-could-not-register-destruction-callback In short: I see a warning saying that a destruction callback could not be registered for some beans. My question is: since the beans whose destruction callback cannot be registered are two persistance beans, could this be the source of a memory leak? I am experiencing a leak in my app. Although the session timeout is set (to 30 minutes), my profiler shows me more instances of the hibernate SessionImpl each time I run a thread dump. The number of instances of SessionImpl is exactly the number of times I tried to login between two thread dumps. Thanks for your help...

  Hi everyone, I'm working with PyQt and trying to get video from a webcam to play within a QT widget. I've found tutorials for C and Qt, and for python and gtk, but NOTHING for this combo of pyQt and gstreamer. Anybody get this working? • TcpListener is queuing connections faster than I can clear them

  As I understand it, TcpListener will queue connections once you call Start(). Each time you call AcceptTcpClient (or BeginAcceptTcpClient), it will dequeue one item from the queue. If we load test our TcpListener app by sending 1,000 connections to it at once, the queue builds far faster than we can clear it, leading (eventually) to timeouts from the client because it didn't get a response because its connection was still in the queue. However, the server doesn't appear to be under much pressure, our app isn't consuming much CPU time and the other monitored resources on the machine aren't breaking a sweat. It feels like we're not running efficiently enough right now. We're calling BeginAcceptTcpListener and then immediately handing over to a ThreadPool thread to actually do the work, then calling BeginAcceptTcpClient again. The work involved doesn't seem to put any pressure on the machine, it's basically just a 3 second sleep followed by a dictionary lookup and then a 100 byte write to the TcpClient's stream. One idea we had was to call AcceptTcpClient and immediately Enqueue the TcpClient into one of multiple Queue<TcpClient> objects. That way, we could poll those queues on separate threads (one queue per thread), without running into monitors that might block the thread while waiting for other Dequeue operations. Each queue thread could then use ThreadPool.QueueUserWorkItem to have the work done in a ThreadPool thread and then move onto dequeuing the next TcpClient in its queue. Would you recommend this approach, or is our problem that we're using TcpListener and no amount of rapid dequeueing is going to fix that?

Now here is where I am thinking that it might be a reverse DNS setup thing on my windows server 2008 issue + some company mails, it becomes spam, i had same issue with hotmail but that was solved when I added the plain. Anybody have had the problem before? I am very thankful for any answer I get.. thanks

  Sometimes MPI is used to send low-entropy data in messages. So it can be useful to try to compress messages before sending it. I know that MPI can work on very fast networks (10 Gbit/s and more), but many MPI programs are used with cheap network like 0,1G or 1Gbit/s Ethernet and with cheap (slow, low bisection) network switch. There is a very fast Snappy (wikipedia) compression algorithm, which has Compression speed is 250 MB/s and decompression speed is 500 MB/s so on compressible data and slow network it will give some speedup. Is there any MPI library which can compress MPI messages (at layer of MPI; not the compression of ip packets like in PPP). MPI messages are also structured, so there can be some special method, like compression of exponent part in array of double.

• Uploading image file from website on yahoo server causes 410 gone error message when trying to acces

  I have a form that lets users upload a photo of themselves. This seems to work. The photo does exist on the server once uploaded. When I try to access the file I get a "403 forbidden - you don't have permission to access this url on this sever" and also I get "Additionally, a 410 Gone error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." • Is there some smart way of customizing ajax message text in jQuery?

  I have tons of ajax components on this booking engine. I need to customize the text inside of the modal for each of the components to suite. I added: $('#loader').bind('ajaxStart', function() { $(this).show().addClass('modalOpen'); }).bind('ajaxComplete', function() { $(this).removeClass('modalOpen').hide() }); Is there some advanced way of changing the text inside of the loading element before I do separate .ajax calls? • SendMessage to window created by AllocateHWND cause deadlock

  In my Delphi project, I derive a thread class TMyThread, and follow the advice from forums to use AllocateHWnd to create a window handle. In TMyThread object, I call SendMessage to send message to the window handle. When the messages sent are in small volume, then the application works well. However, when the messages are in large volume, the application will deadlock and lose responses. I think may be the message queue is full as in LogWndProc, there are only codes to process the message, but no codes to remove the messages from the queue, that may cause all the processed messages still exist in the queue and the queue becomes full. Is that correct? • Why does Fabric display the disconnect from server message for almost 2 minutes?

  Fabric displays Disconnecting from username@server... done. for almost 2 minutes prior to showing a new command prompt whenever I issue a fab command. This problem exists when using Fabric commands issued to both an internal server and a Rackspace cloud server. Below I've included the auth.log from the server, and I didn't see anything in the logs on my MacBook. Any thoughts as to what the problem is?   If i do this: GetOptions( 'u=s' => \$in_username, 'r=i' => \$in_readonly, 'b=i' => \$in_backup ); exit usage() unless $in_username && $in_readonly && $in_backup; and call the program like this: ./app.pl -u david -r 12 -b 0 it always results in calling usage(), so obviously the 0 is not seen as an integer value. What can i do accept integer values AND 0?

This works well for strlen and regex, but how do I set it up for "required" elements? • Tomcat - Redirect to Error Page when ServletContextListener fails

  When Tomcat starts it calls my ServletContextListener to obtain a database connection, which I will later use in other servlets with getServletContext(). It is called in my web.xml as: listener listener-class org.ppdc.database.DBCPoolingListener /listener-class /listener (I removed the < because they wouldn't display properly in this message. If I cannot connect to the database when Tomcat starts up I get a 404 error, because Tomcat cannot start the application. How can I redirect the user to a custom error page at this point? I tried the following in my web.xml (I have the < brackets in the original): (error-page) (error-code404/error-code) (location/file_not_found.html/location) (/error-page) Any ideas on how to redirect a user to one of my error pages when Tomcat tries to start the application? If I call m.getClass() I obtain "mypackage.Message1", so the subclass and not the superclass. I try with this code (use reflection): p.handler(m.getClass().cast(m)); But the output is Interface: Message So, this is my problem. I would do a runtime cast of superclass object to subclassobject without use the "code command" istanceof. I would a right command like this: p.handler((m.getclass)m); How can I obtain it?
