  • Backup Google Calendar programmatically: https://www.google.com/calendar/exporticalzip

    - by Michael
I'm struggling with writing a python script that automatically grabs the zip fail containing all my google calendars and stores it (as a backup) on my harddisk. I'm using ClientLogin to get an authentication token (and successfully can obtain the token). Unfortunately, i'm unable to retrieve the file at https://www.google.com/calendar/exporticalzip It always asks me for the login credentials again by returning a login page as html (instead of the zip). Here's the critical code: post_data = post_data = urllib.urlencode({ 'auth': token, 'continue': zip_url}) request = urllib2.Request('https://www.google.com/calendar', post_data, header) try: f = urllib2.urlopen(request) result = f.read() except: print "Error" Anyone any ideas or done that before? Or an alternative idea how to backup all my calendars (automatically!)

  • howto parse struct to C++ dll from C#

    - by Nerds Rule
    I am trying to call a function in a unmanaged C++ dll. It has this prototype: [DllImport("C:\\Program Files\\MySDK\\VSeries.dll", EntryPoint = "BII_Send_Index_Template_MT" )] internal unsafe static extern Int32 BII_Send_Index_Template_MT(IntPtr pUnitHandle, ref BII_Template template, Int32 option, Boolean async); BII_Template template = new BII_Template(); error_code = BII_Send_Index_Template_MT(pUnitHandle, ref template, option, false); I is how I define the BII_Template struct in C#: public unsafe struct BII_Template { public ulong id; public ulong employee_id; public ulong password; public byte sensor_version; public byte template_version; public fixed char name[16]; public byte finger; public byte admin_level; public byte schedule; public byte security_thresh; public fixed byte noise_level[18]; public byte corramb; public byte reference_x; public byte reference_y; public fixed byte ihcore[3]; public fixed byte ivcore[3]; public byte temp_xoffset; public byte temp_yoffset; public byte index; public fixed byte inphase[5500]; }; It build and when I run it the dll return error_code = "The record checksum is invalid." I assume that I am using the ref keyword in a wrong way or the size of some of the elements in the struct is wrong. ----- EDIT ------------ Here is the struct in C++: typedef struct { unsigned long id; unsigned long employee_id; unsigned long password; unsigned char sensor_version; unsigned char template_version; char name[16]; unsigned char finger; unsigned char admin_level; unsigned char schedule; unsigned char security_thresh; unsigned char noise_level[18]; unsigned char corramb ; unsigned char reference_x ; unsigned char reference_y ; unsigned char ihcore[NUM_CORE]; unsigned char ivcore[NUM_CORE]; unsigned char temp_xoffset; unsigned char temp_yoffset; unsigned char index; unsigned char inphase[PACKED_ARRAY_SIZE]; } BII_Template;

  • php mail function cannot send to name.sirname@doman.com ??i

    - by user333216
I'm having trouble when sending emails thorough the mail() function. I have a script that works perfectly fine for an email address like name@domain.com but when the first part of the email is something with a dot like name.surname@domain.com it doesn't work and returns this error : Warning: mail() [function.mail ]: SMTP server response: 554 : Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied in confirmed.php on line 119 I am using real email address but have changed it in the above example. Any thoughts - I'm not a php master but surely there is an easy way to send emails to address with a 2 part first section?? Thanks in advance Ali

  • More elegant way to parse inline variables in strings

    - by Tom
Currently I have this: function parse_string($string, $variables){ extract($variables); return eval('return "'. addcslashes($string, '"') .'";'); } So I can input this string: 'Hi {$name}, my name is {$own_name}' Together with this array: array('name' => 'John', 'own_name' => 'Tom') And get this back: 'Hi John, my name is Tom'   I've never liked this eval() approach but it works and it's fast (faster than regex at least). Question: Is there a more elegant way to do this (faster than using regex) in PHP5?

  • Finding the most frequent subtrees in a collection of (parse) trees

    - by peter.murray.rust
I have a collection of trees whose nodes are labelled (but not uniquely). Specifically the trees are from a collection of parsed sentences (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treebank). I wish to extract the most common subtrees from the collection - performance is not (yet) an issue. I'd be grateful for algorithms (ideally Java) or pointers to tools which do this for treebanks. Note that order of child nodes is important. EDIT @mjv. We are working in a limited domain (chemistry) which has a stylised language so the varirty of the trees is not huge - probably similar to children's readers. Simple tree for "the cat sat on the mat". <sentence> <nounPhrase> <article/> <noun/> </nounPhrase> <verbPhrase> <verb/> <prepositionPhrase> <preposition/> <nounPhrase> <article/> <noun/> </nounPhrase> </prepositionPhrase> </verbPhrase> </sentence> Here the sentence contains two identical part-of-speech subtrees (the actual tokens "cat". "mat" are not important in matching). So the algorithm would need to detect this. Note that not all nounPhrases are identical - "the big black cat" could be: <nounPhrase> <article/> <adjective/> <adjective/> <noun/> </nounPhrase> The length of sentences will be longer - between 15 to 30 nodes. I would expect to get useful results from 1000 trees. If this does not take more than a day or so that's acceptable. Obviously the shorter the tree the more frequent, so nounPhrase will be very common. EDIT If this is to be solved by flattening the tree then I think it would be related to Longest Common Substring, not Longest Common Sequence. But note that I don't necessarily just want the longest - I want a list of all those long enough to be "interesting" (criterion yet to be decided).

  • doesn't parse xml when it's a single node

    - by tag
my script.php returns this XML <all> <item> <field1>value1</field1> <field2>value2</field2> </item> <item> <field1>value1</field1> <field2>value2</field2> </item> </all> The HTTPService uses the default resultFormat="object" but I don't declare it since it's the default. Then I bind it to a List dataProvider="{getDataHTTP.lastResult.all.item}" I get no problems when the number of item returned is more than 1. But when it's only 1 item I get an error cannot convert XMLList to mx.collections.IList. I tried different solutions including trying to cast it as XMLListCollection but it still gives an error for single items. Does anyone know of a way to possibly solve this?

  • Parse (extract) DTMF in Python

    - by Joseph
If I have a recorded audio file (MP3), is there any way to get the figure out the DTMF tones that were recorded in pure Python? (If pure python is not available, then Java is okay too. The point being that it should be able to run in Google Appengine)

  • Why are cookies only sent to http://www.example.com and NOT http://example.com?

    - by Axel
I have a PHP login which sets 2 cookies once someone login. The problem is that if you login from http://www.example.com and you go to http://example.com, you will find yourself not logged in. I think that is because the browser only send the cookies to the first syntax. It is only one domain, the difference is the www. before the domain name, so how to set cookies to the whole domain whatever there is www. or not? <?php setcookie('username',$username,time()+3600); ?>

  • Scala : cleanest way to recursively parse files checking for multiple strings

    - by fred basset
Hi All, I want to write a Scala script to recursively process all files in a directory. For each file I'd like to see if there are any cases where a string occurs at line X and line X - 2. If a case like that occurs I'd like to stop processing that file, and add that filename to a map of filenames to occurrence counts. I just started learning Scala today, I've got the file recurse code working, and need some help with the string searching, here's what I have so far: import java.io.File import scala.io.Source val s1= "CmdNum = 506" val s2 = "Data = [0000,]" def processFile(f: File) { val lines = scala.io.Source.fromFile(f).getLines.toArray for (i = 0 to lines.length - 1) { // want to do string searches here, see if line contains s1 and line two lines above also contains s1 //println(lines(i)) } } def recursiveListFiles(f: File): Array[File] = { val these = f.listFiles if (these != null) { for (i = 0 to these.length - 1) { if (these(i).isFile) { processFile(these(i)) } } these ++ these.filter(_.isDirectory).flatMap(recursiveListFiles) } else { Array[File]() } } println(recursiveListFiles(new File(args(0))))

  • Using stringstream instead of `sscanf` to parse a fixed-format string

    - by John Dibling
I would like to use the facilities provided by stringstream to extract values from a fixed-format string as a type-safe alternative to sscanf. How can I do this? Consider the following specific use case. I have a std::string in the following fixed format: YYYYMMDDHHMMSSmmm Where: YYYY = 4 digits representing the year MM = 2 digits representing the month ('0' padded to 2 characters) DD = 2 digits representing the day ('0' padded to 2 characters) HH = 2 digits representing the hour ('0' padded to 2 characters) MM = 2 digits representing the minute ('0' padded to 2 characters) SS = 2 digits representing the second ('0' padded to 2 characters) mmm = 3 digits representing the milliseconds ('0' padded to 3 characters) Previously I was doing something along these lines: string s = "20101220110651184"; unsigned year = 0, month = 0, day = 0, hour = 0, minute = 0, second = 0, milli = 0; sscanf(s.c_str(), "%4u%2u%2u%2u%2u%2u%3u", &year, &month, &day, &hour, &minute, &second, &milli ); The width values are magic numbers, and that's ok. I'd like to use streams to extract these values and convert them to unsigneds in the interest of type safety. But when I try this: stringstream ss; ss << "20101220110651184"; ss >> setw(4) >> year; year retains the value 0. It should be 2010. How do I do what I'm trying to do? I can't use Boost or any other 3rd party library, nor can I use C++0x.

  • PHP - Parse XML subitems using foreach()

    - by Nate Shoffner
I have an XML file that needs parsing in PHP. I am currenlty using simplexml_load_file to load the file like so: $xml = simplexml_load_file('Project.xml'); Inside that XML file lies a structure like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?> <project> <name>Project 1</name> <features> <feature>Feature 1</feature> <feature>Feature 2</feature> <feature>Feature 3</feature> <feature>Feature 4</feature> </features> </project> What I am trying to do is print the <name> contents along with EACH <feature> element within <features>. I'm not sure how to do this because there is more than 1 element called <feature>. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • PHP Simple XML Parse Attributes

  • Debugging COM+ applications

    - by cc0
I have a number of separate COM+ applications that I have to figure out; The COM+ applications respond to a number of scheduled tasks, and I need to know which COM components within which applications are being used when I execute each of these tasks. It is easy to figure out what (if anything) goes wrong in the event log, but as I am working on testing each components compatibility with the others; I need to know which ones I have actually tested by executing the scheduled tasks. Does anyone have some useful tips here? I've been looking into the sysinternals tools, and specifically processmonitor, but I have not found a way to make it monitor the COM+ applications yet. (I initially started this question here, but realized it's probably more suited for serverfault)

  • Parse files in directory/insert in database

    - by jakesankey
Hey there, Here is my dillema... I have a directory full of .txt comma delimited files arranged as shown below. What I want to do is to import each of these into a SQL or SQLite database, appending each one below the last. (1 table)... I am open to C# or VB scripting and just not sure how to accomplish this. I want to only extract and import the data starting BELOW the 'Feat. Type,Feat. Name, etc' line. These are stored in a \mynetwork\directory\stats folder on my network drive. Ideally I will be able to add functionality that will make the software/script know not to re-add the file to the database once it has already done so as well.
