  • Running a JUnit4 test - from a java program

    I was wondering how to run some JUnit4 test inside a java program. Basically - depending on some conditions during runtime I need to decide which test runner to use. Using Junit3 I could override runTest method from TestCase class - but in JUnit4 tests do not extend TestCase class so I have nothing to override... Is there maybe some method that I need to implement... or sth else...

  • jQuery animate callback - doesn't complete, no callback?

    Let's say I have the table NAME | ID | REF foo1 | 1 | NULL foo2 | 2 | 1234 foo2 | 3 | 567 foo1 | 4 | NULL foo3 | 5 | 89 I'd like to count all instances of NULL and NOT NULL in one query so that I can say NAME | null | not null foo1 | 0 | 2 foo2 | 2 | 0 foo3 | 0 | 1 I could run these two queries select NAME,count(*) from TABLE where REF is not null select NAME,count(*) from TABLE where REF is null But I'm sure there must be a simple way to do it in one mysql query.

  • Three20 JSON problem: Can deploy to simulator but not device (extThree20JSON)

    Everything builds and runs in the simulator fine ... but when I attempt to run on device I get: "arm-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1: ..../three20/Build/Products/Debug-iphoneos/libextThree20JSON+YAJL.a: No such file or directory" I check that directory and indeed the file doesn't exist. It does exist in the "Debug-iphoneosimulator" though (which I guess explains why it works in the simulator). So what gives and what can I do to correct this? Thanks

  • Is there any way to test server side code using JSTestDriver?

    I'm new to JS unit testing and I like what I've read about JSTestDriver. The idea of have the suite run every time you save is pretty cool. JSTestDriver runs Javascript in a browser sandbox and PHP runs on the server. If the browser slaves can serve from an arbitrary server is there any reason that you couldn't test it via AJAX? It this a misuse/misunderstanding of what the framework is for? Any clarifications are appreciated.

  • Can rpmbuild ingore files in buildroot?

    I have a target directory that is checked into svn. I use the target as the --buildroot when I run rpmbuild. This causes rpmbuild to loose it mind because of the .svn directories in each directory. Is there a way to tell rpmbuild to relax? I looked at svn export target target-build, but it only knows about files tracked by rpm. Perhaps not a bad way to do it, but I'm not quite sure that is the best way.

I have looked into Qt and it doesn't look like it has support for iPhone. I have also looked at boost, and that looks like it can be compiled for the iPhone. However I was hoping for a somewhat higher level framework like what Qt has to offer.

    I have a situation where I want to run a Visual Studio macro that has the user type something in an InputBox, then inserts a snippet and includes that text somewhere in it. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to insert the snippet from macro code. It seems like it'd be something like DTE.ExecuteCommand("Edit.InvokeSnippetFromShortcut") or DTE.ExecuteCommand("Edit.InvokeSnippetFromShortcut", "theSnippetName") but those don't work. Any ideas?

Using this setup, I can get the demo application that came in the JacORB download to run successfully. The only difference I can tell is that my test is using the Tie method to get the POA. There are some policies that go into that, but I can't find any information on what policies need to go in there to enable SSL, if any. I'm not even sure that's the problem as the JacORB demo doesn't set any policies on the server or poa. When I run the -Djavax.net.debug=ssl, I can see the keystores load up the trusted certs on both the client and the server. I'm just not sure what policies are being referred to here, but it's odd that the demo works and the test doesn't using the exact same keystores and properties. I've emailed the mailing list, but I'm not holding out much hope as that doesn't seem to be very active. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below are my properties files.   • Django - testing using large tables of static data

    I am using "manage.py test" along with a JSON fixture I created using using 'dumpdata' My problem is that several of the tables in the fixture are very large (for example one containing the names of all cities in the US) which makes running a test incredibly slow. Seeing as several of these tables are never modified by the program (eg - the city names will never need to be modified), it doesn't make much sense to create and tear down these tables for every test run. Is there a better way to be testing this code using this kind of data?

Any ideas?
