  My client's name company has a flipped letter on its name, so for example "PEOPLE" the P is flipped, I managed to flip the P with 2 span tags, but now I am thinking to do this for SEO reasons is not good, because of the SPANS.   As an iOS developer, is it true that once we get an app into the App Store, we can quite safely update any new version and the worst it can happen is that the new version is rejected, but the old version in general will always stay, unless there was something egregious that Apple didn't catch the first time? (and what if a method in a class is deprecated and later even removed? Won't iOS 8, say, in the future not be able to run the old app?)

• Linux - Only first virtual interface can ping external gateway

  I created 3 virtual interfaces with different mac addresses all linked to the same physical interface. I see that they successfully arp for the gw and they can ping (the request is coming in the packet capture in wireshark). However the ping utility does not count the responses. Does anyone knows the issue? • Gradle + Robolectric: Where do I put the file org.robolectric.Config.properties?

  I'm trying to setup a test using Robolectric to click on a menu button in this repository. Basic Robolectric tests will run, but I'm not able to run any project-specific test using resources because it says it can't find my AndroidManifest.xml. After running ../gradlew clean check, here's the standard output from the Robolectric html file: WARNING: No manifest file found at ./AndroidManifest.xml.Falling back to the Android OS resources only. To remove this warning, annotate your test class with @Config(manifest=Config.NONE). I found these instructions which indicate I should create an org.robolectric.Config.properties file, but I'm not sure where to put it. I've tried everywhere, pretty much, and despite moving the file, the path in the error message is always the same as above (./AndroidManifest.xml). This makes me think the build process has never picked up the settings in the file org.robolectric.Config.properties. I also tried the @Config(manifest="") directive but this gave me a cannot find symbol error. If I move the AndroidManifest.xml into my project directory, then I get an error about it not being able to find the path ./res/values and I wasn't able to resolve that either. Any ideas? Update 1 Thanks Eugen, I'm now using @RunWith(RobolectricGradleTestRunner.class) instead of @RunWith(RobolectricTestRunner). • rake migration aborted: could not find table 'roles'

  I just inherited code that I'm attempting to run the migrations for but I keep getting a rake aborted error. I've come across others that have what appears to be similar issues, but most involved Heroku and I'm trying to run this locally (to start.) I've tried troubleshooting using both PostgreSQL and SQLite, and both produce the same issue. The table "roles" referenced is the second migration called, so I'm having a hard time figuring out what is causing it to not get built. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.
