    I am running into issues where the CA bundle that has been bundled with my version of cURL is outdated. curl: (60) SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK.   • kerio add-in for outlook disabled after every adobe update

    I'm using outlook 2010 with the kerio toolbar/add-in. Every time I install an update for Adobe (flash player, pdf reader), the kerio add-in gets disabled, which is quite annoying (more so since this is a customer computer and it is hard to get them install updates if these break add-ins they need). Is there a way either to get adobe update not to disable this, or maybe create a script which enables the add-in at user logon?

    I'm using ln -f -s /var/www/html/releases/build1390 app-current to update symbolic link "app-current" with a new destination. However, this doesn't work, the link "app-current" keeps it original destination, however, I don't get any errors... I'd rather not remove the link and recreate it, just update the target of an existing link. Is that possible?

  • Huge excel sheet taking too long to update links or calculate formulae

    I have Excel sheet with 5000 rows and columns till AY (size 12MB). Except for the first 6 columns, rest contain either vlookups or formulae. All the vlookups are in separate Excel sheet. I have changed the Excel setting to manually update the links and calculate formulae. Now everytime I try to update the links, either the Excel sheet hangs or it takes something like 15 minutes. Any ideas on how I can get it done quickly.

    I have a server with WHM/cPanel server a website (Apache, PHP, MySQL) and a few days ago WHM performed some kind of update on itself (there are new icons and new appearance overall). Ever since that day, my site has been running slow for shorts periods of time, but several times a day. That never happend before. Is there some common cause for this? Something that WHM does when it does an update? I'm really clueless about this problem.

  • How do you update an Excel file (Data Refresh and update formulas) WITHOUT opening the file?

    I have an Excel file that want to update and save automatically with out having to open it or manually interact with. Manually, I open the file up and hit data refresh which goes and does a SQL query and then hit F9 for the formulas to update and then I just close/save. (I then would mail the file out to people using a perl script or use SAS JMP to run some numbers/charts and also mail them out. Basically I need to script some things which require the XLS file to be updated.)

    My son has a Compaq Presario computer running on Windows 7 and he has brought it down to me cause it's 'not working'. When I start up the computer I get a HP BIOS update that fails and keeps restarting with the same screens, only to fail every time. I have read some forum posts that suggest taking it back to default settings – how do I do this when I cant get anything on the computer screen except for the update? I'm a complete novice with computers.

First I validate the records one at a time. I then want to insert them into the database but instead of doing submitChanges() after each record I want to do a mass submit at the end. So I have something like this public class Repository { private LinqtoSqlContext dbcontext = new LinqtoSqlContext(); public void Update() { // find record // update record } public void Insert() { // make a database table object ( ie ProductTable t = new ProductTable() { productname ="something"} // insert record ( dbcontext.ProductTable.insertOnSubmit()) } public void SaveToDb() { dbcontext.submitChanges(); } } Then in my service layer I would do like for(int i = 0; i < 100; i++) { validate(); if(valid == true) { update(); insert() } } SaveToDb(); So pretend my for loop is has a count for all the record found in the xml file. I first validate it. If valid then I have to update a table before I insert the record. I then insert the record. After that I want to save everything in one go. I am not sure if I can do a mass save when updating of if that has to be after every time or what. But I thought it would work for sure for the insert one. Nothing seems to crash and I am not sure how to check if the records are being added to the dbcontext.

    I have a series of classes that loosely fit the following pattern: public class CustomerInfo { public int Id {get; set;} public string Name {get; set;} } public class CustomerTable { public bool Insert(CustomerInfo info) { /*...*/ } public bool Update(CustomerInfo info) { /*...*/ } public CustomerInfo Get(int id) { /*...*/ } /*...*/ } After a successful insert the Insert method will set the Id property of the CustomerInfo object that was passed in. I've used these classes in several places and would prefer to altering them. Now I'm experimenting with writing an ASP.NET page for inserting and updating the records. I'm currently using the ObjectDataSource and FormView controls: <asp:ObjectDataSource TypeName="CustomerTable" DataObjectTypeName="CustomerInfo" InsertMethod="Insert" UpdateMethod="Update" SelectMethod="Get" /> I can successfully Insert and Update records. I would like to switch the FormView's mode from Insert to Edit after a successful insert. My first attempt was to switch the mode in the ItemInserted event. This of course did not work. I was using a QueryStringParameter for the id which of course wan't set when inserting. So, I switched to manually populating the InputParameters during the ObjectDataSource's Selecting event. The problem with this is I need to know the id of the newly inserted record which I can't find a good way to get. I understand that I can access the Insert method's return value, and out parameters in the ItemInserted event of course my method doesn't return the id using any of these methods. I can't find anyway to access the id or the CustomerInfo object that was inserted after the insert completes. The best I've been able to do is to save the CustomerInfo object in the ObjectDataSource's Inserting event. This feels like an odd way to do this. I figure that there must be a better way to do this and I'll kick myself when I see it. Any ideas?

  • Need help to debug application using .Net and MySQL

    What advice can you give me on how to track down a bug I have while inserting data into MySQL database with .Net? The error message is: MySql.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException: Duplicate entry '26012' for key 'StockNumber_Number_UNIQUE' Reviewing of the log proves that StockNumber_Number of 26012 has not been inserted yet. Products in use. Visual Studio 2008. mysql.data.dll 6.0.4.0. Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and Windows 2003 32 bit. Custom built ORM framework (have source code). Importing data from Access 2003 database. The code works fine for 3000 - 5000 imports. The record being imported that causes the problem in a full run works fine if just importing by itself. I've also seen the error on other records if I sort the data to be imported a different way. Have tried import with and without transactions. Have logged the hell out of the system. I am new to cryptography.. i have to develop project based on cryptography..In part of my project I have to insert a key to the registry and afterwards i have to reterive the same key for decryption.. i done until getting the path of the registry ..     PROBLEM Hello, I am having no luck trying to break down this SQL statement into ActiveRecord/Rails friendly code and I'd like to learn how I can avoid a find_by_sql statement in this situation. Scenario I have users that create audits when they perform an action. Each audit is of a specific audit_activity. Each audit_activity is worth a certain number of points, based on score_weight. I need to find the total scores of each user, based on their total accumulated audit_activity score_weights. Eventually I'll need to rank them which means adding a sort to this as well. My Code Here is my sql and simplified versions of the tables in question. Any thoughts?
