  So, I have a table like such: id|root|kw1|kw2|kw3|kw4|kw5|name 1| A| B| C| D| E| F|fileA 2| A| B| | | | |fileB 3| B| C| D| E| | |fileC 4| A| B| | | | |fileD (several hundred rows...) And I need to get it into a tree like the following: *A *B -fileB -fileD *C *D *E *F -fileA *B *C *D *E -fileC I'm pretty sure the table is laid out poorly but it's what I have to live with. I've read a little about Adjacency List Model & Modified Preorder Tree Traversal but I don't think my data is laid out correctly. I think this requires a recursive function, but I'm not at all sure how to go about that. I'm open to any ideas of how to get this done even if it means extracting the data into a new table just to process this. Are there any good options available to me or any good ways to do this? (Examples are a bonus of course)

Suppose a table of weekly movie Earnings as below, MovieName MovieGross WeekofYear Year So how do I get the names of top grossers for each week of this year If I do select MovieName , Max(MovieGross) , WeekofYear from earnings where year = 2010 group by WeekofYear; Then obviously query wont run, select Max(MovieName) , Max(MovieGross) , WeekofYear from earnings where year = 2010 group by WeekofYear; would just give movies starting with lowest alphabet Is using group-concat and then substring-index the only option here? select substring_index(group_concat(MovieName order by MovieGross desc),',',1), Max(MovieGross) , WeekofYear from earnings where year = 2010 group by WeekofYear ; Seems clumsy.. Is there any better way of acieveing this?

  Basically, I like default theme widgets. However, I need to change font size on DecoratedStackPanel widget. I think it should be possible with something like this: decoratedStackPanel.getElement().getStyle().setProperty("fontSize", "12pt"); However, "fontSize" is not valid name for property and I didn't find way how to get all element's properties. Therefore, I don't know correct property name. Any ideas? Please, don't post about inheriting widget or writing custom CSS. I like default one but the font size. This should be possible afaik.

I am able to compare strings and get the value, but finding it difficult to print it in the second table. I am getting the value in the var "replaceText", but how to print it in the second table ??   I am trying to set up event registration in a drupal site using Ubercart + the UC Node Checkout Module. I have followed the instructions provided in http://drupaleasy.com/blogs/ultimike/2009/03/event-registration-ubercart. However I seem to be unable to pass the Order ID and Payment Status back to the node. I have created a conditional action that on node checkout executes the following PHP code: I am using the following code to update the node on checkout - but nothing happens: if (isset($order)) { foreach ($order->products as $product) { if (isset($product->data['node_checkout_nid'])) { $node = node_load($product->data['node_checkout_nid']); $node->field_status['0']['value'] = 1; $node->field_orderid['0']['value'] = $order->order_id; node_save($node); } } } I know the conditional action is working because it prints dsm('hello world') messages on node checkout - however when I include a dsm($node) or dsm($product) in the PHP code, they return blank. Also when I go back to my product and click the 'Devel' tab, the 'data' string contains the following characters: a:1:{s:13:"form_build_id";s:37:"form-3ccc03345f4832c69666a89c560de940";} In this link http://www.ubercart.org/forum/support/10951/node_checkout_issue I found someone else with the same issue, but I have been unable to replicate his solution.   I have a requirement for the generation of a given number N of vectors of given size each consistent of a uniform distribution of 0s and 1s. This is what I am doing at the moment, but I noticed that the distribution is strongly peaked at half 1s and half 0s, which is no good for what I am doing: a = randint(1, sizeOfVector, [0 1]); The unifrnd function looks promising for what I need, but I can't manage to understand how to output a binary vector of that size. Is it the case that I can use the unifrnd function (and if so how would be appreciated!) or can is there any other more convenient way to obtain such a set of vectors? Any help appreciated!

  We have a standalone java swing app, in which the user can print something that he drew, on a printer by giving its IP. Now the requirement is that the app needs to remember the ip that was given the last time by this user. What I could think of till now is (a brute one though) - keep a log file kind of storage on the client machine, and that everytime the app comes up it reads the last submitted one. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

The same holds good for the second example(ASPECT-ORIENTED-PROGRAM). I have the below solution: Solution: if (str == "BKP" || str == "bkp" || str == "book-to-price" ) return "BOOK-TO-PRICE". But I think that there can be many other better solutions . Could you people please give some suggestion.(with an example will be better) I am using C#3.0 and dotnet framework 3.5

I want to copy 'Message' from 'Parent Category' to child categories. I have gotten the child rows (the query runs very slow, don't know why), but how do I get the data and assign it to appropriate child rows? --@DeptId = 1 select * from Categories where ParentID in( select CategoryID from Categories where DeptID = @DeptId ) I would like to see a solution that would not use cursors.
