  • CC.NET Dashboard Error: Could not load type 'System.Security.Authentication.ExtendedProtection.Chann

    Late last week I upgraded CC.NET locally and on the build server. The build server is still fine, but locally I am now getting the following error: Exception Details: Exortech.NetReflector.NetReflectorTypeLoadException: Unable to load types from assembly System.ServiceModel, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089: Failed to load 1 of the 3612 types defined in the assembly. Exceptions: - Unable to load type: System.Security.Authentication.ExtendedProtection.ChannelBinding Exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'System.Security.Authentication.ExtendedProtection.ChannelBinding' from assembly 'System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'. I'm afraid this started after a batch of Windows updates this morning. I had another two updates that won't run, 979909 and 982168 (I had an update that wouldn't run last month). Anyone else having any issues? Thanks!

    I am attempting to create a strongly typed view with a "MVC View User Control" that is being rendered using Html.RenderPartial(). The top of my ascx file looks like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.Collections.IEnumerable<string>>" %> There is nothing else on this page, currently. When I execute the app and load the page that renders this control, I get the following error: Could not load type 'System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.Collections.IEnumerable<string>>'. So, then I simplified it: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<String>" %> And then, just in case it needed to be fully qualified: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<System.String>" %> Everytime I get the same error (substituting type). what am I doing wrong here? I'm on .NET 3.5 with ASP.NET MVC 1.0 RTM.

  • Error creating System.Type from string "System.Int32"

    On a web site I published (pre-compiled) last night, I get the following error. Before pre-compiling it, I was getting a compiler error that a User Control was not found. After compiling on another machine, and running, I get the following Parser error: "Cannot create an object of type 'System.Type' from its srting representation 'System.Int32' for the 'DataType' property" was the, now runtime, parser error I got. The offending tag is telerik:RadNumericTextBox .... DataType="System.Int32"... I emphasise again that this error only occurs on XP SP2, not on Vista and Win7. I'm off to do some Googling and issue logging at Telerik.

    So I have the below VB that creates an access file in the default workspace, creates a table, create some fields in that table...just need to know the syntax for setting the first data type/field to autonumber...GUID, Counter, etc will not work as in Access SQL ' error handling usually goes here dim ws as workspace dim dbExample as database dim tblMain as TableDef dim fldMain as Field dim idxMain as Index set ws = workspace(0) set dbExample = ws.CreateDatabase('string file path') set tblMain = dbExample.CreateTableDef("tblMain") set fldMain = tblMain.CreateField("ID", 'right here I do not know what to substitute for dbInteger to get the autonumber type to work ) tblMain.Fields.Append fldMain etc to create other fields and indexes so in this line: set fldMain = tblMain.CreateField("ID", dbInteger) i need to replace the dbInteger with something that VB reconizes as the autonumber property. i have tried GUID, Counter, Autonumber, AutoIncrement....unfortunately none of these work anyone know the syntax I am missing here?     So I'm looking at various key:value (where value is either strictly a single value or possibly an object) stores for use with Python, and have found a few promising ones. I have no specific requirement as of yet because I am in the evaluation phase. I'm looking for what's good, what's bad, what are the corner cases these things handle well or don't, etc. I'm sure some of you have already tried them out so I'd love to hear your findings/problems/etc. on the various key:value stores with Python. I'm looking primarily at: memcached - http://www.danga.com/memcached/ python clients: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/python-memcached/1.40 http://www.tummy.com/Community/software/python-memcached/ CouchDB - http://couchdb.apache.org/ python clients: http://code.google.com/p/couchdb-python/ Tokyo Tyrant - http://1978th.net/tokyotyrant/ python clients: http://code.google.com/p/pytyrant/ Lightcloud - http://opensource.plurk.com/LightCloud/ Based on Tokyo Tyrant, written in Python Redis - http://code.google.com/p/redis/ python clients: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/txredis/0.1.1 MemcacheDB - http://memcachedb.org/ So I started benchmarking (simply inserting keys and reading them) using a simple count to generate numeric keys and a value of "A short string of text": memcached: CentOS 5.3/python-2.4.3-24.el5_3.6, libevent 1.4.12-stable, memcached 1.4.2 with default settings, 1 gig memory, 14,000 inserts per second, 16,000 seconds to read. No real optimization, nice. memcachedb claims on the order of 17,000 to 23,000 inserts per second, 44,000 to 64,000 reads per second. I'm also wondering how the others stack up speed wise.

    I am returning a JSON object (as a String) through a servlet. The JSON object looks like this: {"3":"Martin Luther","30":"Boris Becker","32":"Joseph Goebels","19":"Leonardo Da Vinci","31":"Adolf Hitler"} My jQuery looks like this (the submission of data is correct because I get a proper looking result from the servlet): $.ajax( { type : "GET", url : "MyServlet", data : queryString + "count=" + variables, success : function(resultObj) { $.each(resultObj, function(key, value) { $("#resultCount").html(key+", "+value); }); } }); However when I try to print the results, that is the variables key and value, I get a number for the key but not a number from the JSONObject and an empty string instead of the value. Essentially the question is about how to "extract" the information from a JSON object.

  • Invalid receiver type 'NSUInteger'

    I have a Core Data entity whose header file looks like this: @interface MyEntity : NSManagedObject { } @property (nonatomic, retain) NSNumber * index; @end And it's implementation file looks like this: @implementation MyEntity @dynamic index; @end Now, I have a piece of code that looks like this: NSArray* selectedObects = [myEntityArrayController selectedObjects]; NSUInteger theIndex = [[[selectedObects objectAtIndex:0] index] unsignedIntegerValue]; The 'myEntityArrayController' object is a NSArrayController which manages all entities of MyEntity. This code executes correctly, however XCode always gives the warning "Invalid receiver type 'NSUInteger'" for the last line of code. For some reason, XCode thinks that the index method returns a NSUInteger. I'm not sure why it thinks this, because 'objectAtIndex' returns an object of type 'id'. I've cleaned the project several times, and these warnings have hung around for a while. Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • Binding to NSTextField Cell not working, edited value resets to default

    I'm working on a Core Data document application that dynamically creates NSTableColumns. The data cell type may be a checkbox, slider, etc. Programmatically binding to all cell types works, except for NSTextFieldCell. All NSTextFieldCells fail to bind, and after editing they return to their default value. This happens no matter if they're binding to a string, a number (with an NSNumberFormatter applied), or a date (NSDateFormatter applied). I'm using the following format to do all bindings: NSDictionary *textFieldOpts = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObjectsAndKeys:@"YES", NSContinuouslyUpdatesValueBindingOption, @"YES", NSValidatesImmediatelyBindingOption, nil]; [aCell bind:@"value" toObject:[[entryAC arrangedObjects] objectAtIndex:0] withKeyPath:@"numberData" options:textFieldOpts]; Again, these statements work if the cell type is anything but an NSTextFieldCell. I threw in an observeValueForKeyPath method to log when the value changes... and for other cell types (NSSliderCell for instance) I can see the value changing, but with the NSTextFieldCell, it never, ever updates. Help!

    Hi there. I am writing a WWW application, it has to run under IE. I have the problem with the code that runs under FF, but i can't get it running under IE. // JS code function test() { if (window.event.keyCpde == 13) window.location.href.ssign("myPage.php"); } I've tried some similar ways around window.location and location.href, also document.location. I've read that IE has problems with that, so i ask for a solution. The goal is, that page reloads after typing in some text into <input type='text' name='item_code' onKeyDown='test()'> and click enter. So the result is similar to pressing submit type button below the text input. Within IE it reloads the same page and nothing happens. In FF it correctly works.

    I have 2 database fields `decval` decimal(5,2) `intval` int(3) I have 2 pdo queries that update them. The one that updates the int works ok $update_intval->bindParam(':intval', $intval, PDO::PARAM_INT); but I can't update the decimal field. I've tried the 3 ways below, but nothing works $update_decval->bindParam(':decval', $decval, PDO::PARAM_STR); $update_decval->bindParam(':decval', $decval, PDO::PARAM_INT); $update_decval->bindParam(':decval', $decval); It seems the problem is with the database type decimal? Is there a PDO::PARAM for a field of type decimal? If not, what do I use as a workaround?

    Hi, I am wondering how I could create a custom data type to use within the rake migration file. Example: if you would be creating a model, inside the migration file you can add columns. It could look like this: def self.up create_table :products do |t| t.column :name, :string t.timestamps end end I would like to know how to create something like this: t.column :name, :my_custom_data_type The reason for this to create for example a "currency" type, which is nothing more than a decimal with a precision of 8 and a scale of 2.
