  • Append indexed input fields with attached datepicker widget

    - by Micor
    I am looking for the most efficient way to add a set of fields with datepicker widget attached on click event. So here I have a set of indexed events being generated on a page: <div id="events"> <div class="event"> <input type="text" id="event_0_startDate" name="event[0].startDate" class="date"/> <input type="hidden" id="event_0_startDate_day" name="event[0].startDate_day" /> <input type="hidden" id="event_0_startDate_month" name="event[0].startDate_month" /> <input type="hidden" id="event_0_startDate_year" name="event[0].startDate_year"/> </div> <div class="event"> <input type="text" id="event_1_startDate" name="event[1].startDate" class="date"/> <input type="hidden" id="event_1_startDate_day" name="event[1].startDate_day" /> <input type="hidden" id="event_1_startDate_month" name="event[1].startDate_month" /> <input type="hidden" id="event_1_startDate_year" name="event[1].startDate_year" /> </div> .... more event divs .... </div> <a href="#" id="add_event">Add event</a> .. with datepicker widget attached: $(".date").datepicker({ onClose: function(dateText,picker) { var prefix = $(this).attr('id'); $('#' + prefix + '_month').val( dateText.split(/\//)[0] ); $('#' + prefix + '_day').val( dateText.split(/\//)[1] ); $('#' + prefix + '_year').val( dateText.split(/\//)[2] ); } }); I need a function that will add inside div id="events" after the last div class="event" another div class="event" where N is the next index and attach datepicker widget above to the new input field with class="date" like: <div class="event"> <input type="text" id="event_N_startDate" name="event[N].startDate" class="date"/> <input type="hidden" id="event_N_startDate_day" name="event[N].startDate_day"/> <input type="hidden" id="event_N_startDate_month" name="event[N].startDate_month" /> <input type="hidden" id="event_N_startDate_year" name="event[N].startDate_year" /> </div> Thank you.

  • How to best design a date/geographic proximity query on GAE?

    - by Dane
    Hi all, I'm building a directory for finding athletic tournaments on GAE with web2py and a Flex front end. The user selects a location, a radius, and a maximum date from a set of choices. I have a basic version of this query implemented, but it's inefficient and slow. One way I know I can improve it is by condensing the many individual queries I'm using to assemble the objects into bulk queries. I just learned that was possible. But I'm also thinking about a more extensive redesign that utilizes memcache. The main problem is that I can't query the datastore by location because GAE won't allow multiple numerical comparison statements (<,<=,=,) in one query. I'm already using one for date, and I'd need TWO to check both latitude and longitude, so it's a no go. Currently, my algorithm looks like this: 1.) Query by date and select 2.) Use destination function from geopy's distance module to find the max and min latitude and longitudes for supplied distance 3.) Loop through results and remove all with lat/lng outside max/min 4.) Loop through again and use distance function to check exact distance, because step 2 will include some areas outside the radius. Remove results outside supplied distance (is this 2/3/4 combination inefficent?) 5.) Assemble many-to-many lists and attach to objects (this is where I need to switch to bulk operations) 6.) Return to client Here's my plan for using memcache.. let me know if I'm way out in left field on this as I have no prior experience with memcache or server caching in general. -Keep a list in the cache filled with "geo objects" that represent all my data. These have five properties: latitude, longitude, event_id, event_type (in anticipation of expanding beyond tournaments), and start_date. This list will be sorted by date. -Also keep a dict of pointers in the cache which represent the start and end indices in the cache for all the date ranges my app uses (next week, 2 weeks, month, 3 months, 6 months, year, 2 years). -Have a scheduled task that updates the pointers daily at 12am. -Add new inserts to the cache as well as the datastore; update pointers. Using this design, the algorithm would now look like: 1.) Use pointers to slice off appropriate chunk of list based on supplied date. 2-4.) Same as above algorithm, except with geo objects 5.) Use bulk operation to select full tournaments using remaining geo objects' event_ids 6.) Assemble many-to-manys 7.) Return to client Thoughts on this approach? Many thanks for reading and any advice you can give. -Dane

  • How do I prevent the concurrent execution of a javascript function?

    - by RyanV
    I am making a ticker similar to the "From the AP" one at The Huffington Post, using jQuery. The ticker rotates through a ul, either by user command (clicking an arrow) or by an auto-scroll. Each list-item is display:none by default. It is revealed by the addition of a "showHeadline" class which is display:list-item. HTML for the UL Looks like this: <ul class="news" id="news"> <li class="tickerTitle showHeadline">Test Entry</li> <li class="tickerTitle">Test Entry2</li> <li class="tickerTitle">Test Entry3</li> </ul> When the user clicks the right arrow, or the auto-scroll setTimeout goes off, it runs a tickForward() function: function tickForward(){ var $active = $('#news li.showHeadline'); var $next = $active.next(); if($next.length==0) $next = $('#news li:first'); $active.stop(true, true); $active.fadeOut('slow', function() {$active.removeClass('showHeadline');}); setTimeout(function(){$next.fadeIn('slow', function(){$next.addClass('showHeadline');})}, 1000); if(isPaused == true){ } else{ startScroll() } }; This is heavily inspired by Jon Raasch's A Simple jQuery Slideshow. Basically, find what's visible, what should be visible next, make the visible thing fade and remove the class that marks it as visible, then fade in the next thing and add the class that makes it visible. Now, everything is hunky-dory if the auto-scroll is running, kicking off tickForward() once every three seconds. But if the user clicks the arrow button repeatedly, it creates two negative conditions: Rather than advance quickly through the list for just the number of clicks made, it continues scrolling at a faster-than-normal rate indefinitely. It can produce a situation where two (or more) list items are given the .showHeadline class, so there's overlap on the list. I can see these happening (especially #2) because the tickForward() function can run concurrently with itself, producing different sets of $active and $next. So I think my question is: What would be the best way to prevent concurrent execution of the tickForward() method? Some things I have tried or considered: Setting a Flag: When tickForward() runs, it sets an isRunning flag to true, and sets it back to false right before it ends. The logic for the event handler is set to only call tickForward() if isRunning is false. I tried a simple implementation of this, and isRunning never appeared to be changed. The jQuery queue(): I think it would be useful to queue up the tickForward() commands, so if you clicked it five times quickly, it would still run as commanded but wouldn't run concurrently. However, in my cursory reading on the subject, it appears that a queue has to be attached to the object its queue applies to, and since my tickForward() method affects multiple lis, I don't know where I'd attach it.

  • Linq to LLBLGen query problem

    - by Jeroen Breuer
    Hello, I've got a Stored Procedure and i'm trying to convert it to a Linq to LLBLGen query. The query in Linq to LLBGen works, but when I trace the query which is send to sql server it is far from perfect. This is the Stored Procedure: ALTER PROCEDURE [dbo].[spDIGI_GetAllUmbracoProducts] -- Add the parameters for the stored procedure. @searchText nvarchar(255), @startRowIndex int, @maximumRows int, @sortExpression nvarchar(255) AS BEGIN SET @startRowIndex = @startRowIndex + 1 SET @searchText = '%' + @searchText + '%' -- SET NOCOUNT ON added to prevent extra result sets from -- interfering with SELECT statements. SET NOCOUNT ON; -- This is the query which will fetch all the UmbracoProducts. -- This query also supports paging and sorting. WITH UmbracoOverview As ( SELECT ROW_NUMBER() OVER( ORDER BY CASE WHEN @sortExpression = 'productName' THEN umbracoProduct.productName WHEN @sortExpression = 'productCode' THEN umbracoProduct.productCode END ASC, CASE WHEN @sortExpression = 'productName DESC' THEN umbracoProduct.productName WHEN @sortExpression = 'productCode DESC' THEN umbracoProduct.productCode END DESC ) AS row_num, umbracoProduct.umbracoProductId, umbracoProduct.productName, umbracoProduct.productCode FROM umbracoProduct INNER JOIN product ON umbracoProduct.umbracoProductId = product.umbracoProductId WHERE (umbracoProduct.productName LIKE @searchText OR umbracoProduct.productCode LIKE @searchText OR product.code LIKE @searchText OR product.description LIKE @searchText OR product.descriptionLong LIKE @searchText OR product.unitCode LIKE @searchText) ) SELECT UmbracoOverview.UmbracoProductId, UmbracoOverview.productName, UmbracoOverview.productCode FROM UmbracoOverview WHERE (row_num >= @startRowIndex AND row_num < (@startRowIndex + @maximumRows)) -- This query will count all the UmbracoProducts. -- This query is used for paging inside ASP.NET. SELECT COUNT (umbracoProduct.umbracoProductId) AS CountNumber FROM umbracoProduct INNER JOIN product ON umbracoProduct.umbracoProductId = product.umbracoProductId WHERE (umbracoProduct.productName LIKE @searchText OR umbracoProduct.productCode LIKE @searchText OR product.code LIKE @searchText OR product.description LIKE @searchText OR product.descriptionLong LIKE @searchText OR product.unitCode LIKE @searchText) END This is my Linq to LLBLGen query: using System.Linq.Dynamic; var q = ( from up in MetaData.UmbracoProduct join p in MetaData.Product on up.UmbracoProductId equals p.UmbracoProductId where up.ProductCode.Contains(searchText) || up.ProductName.Contains(searchText) || p.Code.Contains(searchText) || p.Description.Contains(searchText) || p.DescriptionLong.Contains(searchText) || p.UnitCode.Contains(searchText) select new UmbracoProductOverview { UmbracoProductId = up.UmbracoProductId, ProductName = up.ProductName, ProductCode = up.ProductCode } ).OrderBy(sortExpression); //Save the count in HttpContext.Current.Items. This value will only be saved during 1 single HTTP request. HttpContext.Current.Items["AllProductsCount"] = q.Count(); //Returns the results paged. return q.Skip(startRowIndex).Take(maximumRows).ToList<UmbracoProductOverview>(); This is my Initial expression to process: value(SD.LLBLGen.Pro.LinqSupportClasses.DataSource`1[Eurofysica.DB.EntityClasses.UmbracoProductEntity]).Join(value(SD.LLBLGen.Pro.LinqSupportClasses.DataSource`1[Eurofysica.DB.EntityClasses.ProductEntity]), up => up.UmbracoProductId, p => p.UmbracoProductId, (up, p) => new <>f__AnonymousType0`2(up = up, p = p)).Where(<>h__TransparentIdentifier0 => (((((<>h__TransparentIdentifier0.up.ProductCode.Contains(value(Eurofysica.BusinessLogic.BLL.Controllers.UmbracoProductController+<>c__DisplayClass1).searchText) || <>h__TransparentIdentifier0.up.ProductName.Contains(value(Eurofysica.BusinessLogic.BLL.Controllers.UmbracoProductController+<>c__DisplayClass1).searchText)) || <>h__TransparentIdentifier0.p.Code.Contains(value(Eurofysica.BusinessLogic.BLL.Controllers.UmbracoProductController+<>c__DisplayClass1).searchText)) || <>h__TransparentIdentifier0.p.Description.Contains(value(Eurofysica.BusinessLogic.BLL.Controllers.UmbracoProductController+<>c__DisplayClass1).searchText)) || <>h__TransparentIdentifier0.p.DescriptionLong.Contains(value(Eurofysica.BusinessLogic.BLL.Controllers.UmbracoProductController+<>c__DisplayClass1).searchText)) || <>h__TransparentIdentifier0.p.UnitCode.Contains(value(Eurofysica.BusinessLogic.BLL.Controllers.UmbracoProductController+<>c__DisplayClass1).searchText))).Select(<>h__TransparentIdentifier0 => new UmbracoProductOverview() {UmbracoProductId = <>h__TransparentIdentifier0.up.UmbracoProductId, ProductName = <>h__TransparentIdentifier0.up.ProductName, ProductCode = <>h__TransparentIdentifier0.up.ProductCode}).OrderBy( => .ProductName).Count() Now this is how the queries look like that are send to sql server: Select query: Query: SELECT [LPA_L2].[umbracoProductId] AS [UmbracoProductId], [LPA_L2].[productName] AS [ProductName], [LPA_L2].[productCode] AS [ProductCode] FROM ( [eurofysica].[dbo].[umbracoProduct] [LPA_L2] INNER JOIN [eurofysica].[dbo].[product] [LPA_L3] ON [LPA_L2].[umbracoProductId] = [LPA_L3].[umbracoProductId]) WHERE ( ( ( ( ( ( ( ( [LPA_L2].[productCode] LIKE @ProductCode1) OR ( [LPA_L2].[productName] LIKE @ProductName2)) OR ( [LPA_L3].[code] LIKE @Code3)) OR ( [LPA_L3].[description] LIKE @Description4)) OR ( [LPA_L3].[descriptionLong] LIKE @DescriptionLong5)) OR ( [LPA_L3].[unitCode] LIKE @UnitCode6)))) Parameter: @ProductCode1 : String. Count query: Query: SELECT TOP 1 COUNT(*) AS [LPAV_] FROM (SELECT [LPA_L2].[umbracoProductId] AS [UmbracoProductId], [LPA_L2].[productName] AS [ProductName], [LPA_L2].[productCode] AS [ProductCode] FROM ( [eurofysica].[dbo].[umbracoProduct] [LPA_L2] INNER JOIN [eurofysica].[dbo].[product] [LPA_L3] ON [LPA_L2].[umbracoProductId] = [LPA_L3].[umbracoProductId]) WHERE ( ( ( ( ( ( ( ( [LPA_L2].[productCode] LIKE @ProductCode1) OR ( [LPA_L2].[productName] LIKE @ProductName2)) OR ( [LPA_L3].[code] LIKE @Code3)) OR ( [LPA_L3].[description] LIKE @Description4)) OR ( [LPA_L3].[descriptionLong] LIKE @DescriptionLong5)) OR ( [LPA_L3].[unitCode] LIKE @UnitCode6))))) [LPA_L1] Parameter: @ProductCode1 : String. Length: 2. Precision: 0. Scale: 0. Direction: Input. Value: "%%". Parameter: @ProductName2 : String. Length: 2. Precision: 0. Scale: 0. Direction: Input. Value: "%%". Parameter: @Code3 : String. Length: 2. Precision: 0. Scale: 0. Direction: Input. Value: "%%". Parameter: @Description4 : String. Length: 2. Precision: 0. Scale: 0. Direction: Input. Value: "%%". Parameter: @DescriptionLong5 : String. Length: 2. Precision: 0. Scale: 0. Direction: Input. Value: "%%". Parameter: @UnitCode6 : String. Length: 2. Precision: 0. Scale: 0. Direction: Input. Value: "%%". As you can see no sorting or paging is done (like in my Stored Procedure). This is probably done inside the code after all the results are fetched. This costs a lot of performance! Does anybody know how I can convert my Stored Procedure to Linq to LLBLGen the proper way?

  • Asynchronous readback from opengl front buffer using multiple PBO's

    - by KillianDS
    I am developing an application that needs to read back the whole frame from the front buffer of an openGL application. I can hijack the application's opengl library and insert my code on swapbuffers. At the moment I am successfully using a simple but excruciating slow glReadPixels command without PBO's. Now I read about using multiple PBO's to speed things up. While I think I've found enough resources to actually program that (isn't that hard), I have some operational questions left. I would do something like this: create a series (e.g. 3) of PBO's use glReadPixels in my swapBuffers override to read data from front buffer to a PBO (should be fast and non-blocking, right?) Create a seperate thread to call glMapBufferARB, once per PBO after a glReadPixels, because this will block until the pixels are in client memory. Process the data from step 3. Now my main concern is of course in steps 2 and 3. I read about glReadPixels used on PBO's being non-blocking, will this be an issue if I issue new opengl commands after that very fast? Will those opengl commands block? Or will they continue (my guess), and if so, I guess only swapbuffers can be a problem, will this one stall or will glReadPixels from front buffer be many times faster than swapping (about each 15-30ms) or, worst case scenario, will swapbuffers be executed while glReadPixels is still reading data to the PBO? My current guess is this logic will do something like this: copy FRONT_BUFFER - generic place in VRAM, copy VRAM-RAM. But I have no idea which of those 2 is the real bottleneck and more, what the influence on the normal opengl command stream is. Then in step 3. Is it wise to do this asynchronously in a thread separated from normal opengl logic? At the moment I think not, It seems you have to restore buffer operations to normal after doing this and I can't install synchronization objects in the original code to temporarily block those. So I think my best option is to define a certain swapbuffer delay before reading them out, so e.g. calling glReadPixels on PBO i%3 and glMapBufferARB on PBO (i+2)%3 in the same thread, resulting in a delay of 2 frames. Also, when I call glMapBufferARB to use data in client memory, will this be the bottleneck or will glReadPixels (asynchronously) be the bottleneck? And finally, if you have some better ideas to speed up frame readback from GPU in opengl, please tell me, because this is a painful bottleneck in my current system. I hope my question is clear enough, I know the answer will probably also be somewhere on the internet but I mostly came up with results that used PBO's to keep buffers in video memory and do processing there. I really need to read back the front buffer to RAM and I do not find any clear explanations about performance in that case (which I need, I cannot rely on "it's faster", I need to explain why it's faster). Thank you

  • Many to Many with LINQ-To-Sql and ASP.NET MVC

    - by Jonathan Stowell
    Hi All, I will restrict this to the three tables I am trying to work with Problem, Communications, and ProbComms. The scenario is that a Student may have many Problems concurrently which may affect their studies. Lecturers may have future communications with a student after an initial problem is logged, however as a Student may have multiple Problems the Lecturer may decide that the discussion they had is related to more than one Problem. Here is a screenshot of the LINQ-To-Sql representation of my DB: LINQ-To-Sql Screenshot At the moment in my StudentController I have a StudentFormViewModel Class: // //ViewModel Class public class StudentFormViewModel { IProbCommRepository probCommRepository; // Properties public Student Student { get; private set; } public IEnumerable<ProbComm> ProbComm { get; private set; } // // Dependency Injection enabled constructors public StudentFormViewModel(Student student, IEnumerable<ProbComm> probComm) : this(new ProbCommRepository()) { this.Student = student; this.ProbComm = probComm; } public StudentFormViewModel(IProbCommRepository pRepository) { probCommRepository = pRepository; } } When I go to the Students Detail Page this runs: public ActionResult Details(string id) { StudentFormViewModel viewdata = new StudentFormViewModel(studentRepository.GetStudent(id), probCommRepository.FindAllProblemComms(id)); if (viewdata == null) return View("NotFound"); else return View(viewdata); } The GetStudent works fine and returns an instance of the student to output on the page, below the student I output all problems logged against them, but underneath these problems I want to show the communications related to the Problem. The LINQ I am using for ProbComms is This is located in the Model class ProbCommRepository, and accessed via a IProbCommRepository interface: public IQueryable<ProbComm> FindAllProblemComms(string studentEmail) { return (from p in db.ProbComms where p.Problem.StudentEmail.Equals(studentEmail) orderby p.Problem.ProblemDateTime select p); } However for example if I have this data in the ProbComms table: ProblemID CommunicationID 1 1 1 2 The query returns two rows so I assume I somehow have to groupby Problem or ProblemID but I am not too sure how to do this with the way I have built things as the return type has to be ProbComm for the query as thats what Model class its located in. When it comes to the view the Details.aspx calls two partial views each passing the relevant view data through, StudentDetails works fine page: <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Views/Shared/Site.Master" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage<MitigatingCircumstances.Controllers.StudentFormViewModel>" %> <% Html.RenderPartial("StudentDetails", this.ViewData.Model.Student); %> <% Html.RenderPartial("StudentProblems", this.ViewData.Model.ProbComm); %> StudentProblems uses a foreach loop to loop through records in the Model and I am trying another foreach loop to output the communication details: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<IEnumerable<MitigatingCircumstances.Models.ProbComm>>" %> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $("DIV.ContainerPanel > DIV.collapsePanelHeader > DIV.ArrowExpand").toggle( function() { $(this).parent().next("div.Content").show("slow"); $(this).attr("class", "ArrowClose"); }, function() { $(this).parent().next("div.Content").hide("slow"); $(this).attr("class", "ArrowExpand"); }); }); </script> <div class="studentProblems"> <% var i = 0; foreach (var item in Model) { %> <div id="ContainerPanel<%= i = i + 1 %>" class="ContainerPanel"> <div id="header<%= i = i + 1 %>" class="collapsePanelHeader"> <div id="dvHeaderText<%= i = i + 1 %>" class="HeaderContent"><%= Html.Encode(String.Format("{0:dd/MM/yyyy}", item.Problem.ProblemDateTime))%></div> <div id="dvArrow<%= i = i + 1 %>" class="ArrowExpand"></div> </div> <div id="dvContent<%= i = i + 1 %>" class="Content" style="display: none"> <p> Type: <%= Html.Encode(item.Problem.CommunicationType.TypeName) %> </p> <p> Problem Outline: <%= Html.Encode(item.Problem.ProblemOutline)%> </p> <p> Mitigating Circumstance Form: <%= Html.Encode(item.Problem.MCF)%> </p> <p> Mitigating Circumstance Level: <%= Html.Encode(item.Problem.MitigatingCircumstanceLevel.MCLevel)%> </p> <p> Absent From: <%= Html.Encode(String.Format("{0:g}", item.Problem.AbsentFrom))%> </p> <p> Absent Until: <%= Html.Encode(String.Format("{0:g}", item.Problem.AbsentUntil))%> </p> <p> Requested Follow Up: <%= Html.Encode(String.Format("{0:g}", item.Problem.RequestedFollowUp))%> </p> <p>Problem Communications</p> <% foreach (var comm in Model) { %> <p> <% if (item.Problem.ProblemID == comm.ProblemID) { %> <%= Html.Encode(comm.ProblemCommunication.CommunicationOutline)%> <% } %> </p> <% } %> </div> </div> <br /> <% } %> </div> The issue is that using the example data before the Model has two records for the same problem as there are two communications for that problem, therefore duplicating the output. Any help with this would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Jon

  • Safely remove window subclassing?

    - by Vegard Larsen
    I am trying to subclass the currently focused window on a Windows system using a global CBT hook. This is related to what happens in this question, but the bug is different. What happens when this subclassing is in effect, is that Opera's (version 10.50) main window is prevented from displaying. Opera has a "splash screen" where you are required to click "Start" for the main window to show that appears after Opera has not shut down properly. Whenever this window pops up, Opera's main window won't show. If Opera was shut down properly, and this splash screen does not show, the main window displays as it should. HHOOK hHook; HWND hWndSubclass = 0; void SubclassWindow(HWND hWnd) { Unsubclass(); FARPROC lpfnOldWndProc = (FARPROC)SetWindowLongPtr(hWnd, GWLP_WNDPROC, (LPARAM)SubClassFunc); SetProp(hWnd, L"PROP_OLDWNDPROC", lpfnOldWndProc); hWndSubclass = hWnd; } void Unsubclass() { if (hWndSubclass != 0 && IsWindow(hWndSubclass)) { FARPROC lpfnOldWndProc = (FARPROC)GetProp(hWndSubclass, L"PROP_OLDWNDPROC"); RemoveProp(hWndSubclass, L"PROP_OLDWNDPROC"); SetWindowLongPtr(hWndSubclass, GWLP_WNDPROC, (LPARAM)lpfnOldWndProc); hWndSubclass = 0; } } static LRESULT CALLBACK SubClassFunc(HWND hWnd, UINT message, WPARAM wParam, LPARAM lParam) { if (message == WM_MOVING) { // do something irrelevant } else if (message == WM_DESTROY) { Unsubclass(); } FARPROC lpfnOldWndProc = (FARPROC)GetProp(hWndSubclass, L"PROP_OLDWNDPROC"); return CallWindowProc((WNDPROC)lpfnOldWndProc, hWndSubclass, message, wParam, lParam); } static LRESULT CALLBACK CBTProc(int nCode, WPARAM wParam, LPARAM lParam) { if (nCode == HCBT_SETFOCUS && hWndServer != NULL) { SubclassWindow((HWND)wParam); } if (nCode < 0) { return CallNextHookEx(hHook, nCode, wParam, lParam); } return 0; } BOOL APIENTRY DllMain( HINSTANCE hInstance, DWORD Reason, LPVOID Reserved ) { switch(Reason) { case DLL_PROCESS_ATTACH: hInst = hInstance; return TRUE; case DLL_PROCESS_DETACH: Unsubclass(); return TRUE; } return TRUE; } My suspicion is that Opera's main window is somehow already subclassed. I imagine the following is happening: The window is created with it's own basic WndProc, and is given focus My application subclasses the window, storing the original WndProc Opera subclasses its own window When the window loses focus, I restore the original WndProc, thus ignoring the second WndProc Can this really be the case? Are there any other explanations?

  • Entity Framework in n-layered application - Lazy loading vs. Eager loading patterns

    - by Marconline
    Hi all. This questions doesn't let me sleep as it's since one year I'm trying to find a solution but... still nothing happened in my mind. Probably you can help me, because I think this is a very common issue. I've a n-layered application: presentation layer, business logic layer, model layer. Suppose for simplicity that my application contains, in the presentation layer, a form that allows a user to search for a customer. Now the user fills the filters through the UI and clicks a button. Something happens and the request arrives to presentation layer to a method like CustomerSearch(CustomerFilter myFilter). This business logic layer now keeps it simple: creates a query on the model and gets back results. Now the question: how do you face the problem of loading data? I mean business logic layer doesn't know that that particular method will be invoked just by that form. So I think that it doesn't know if the requesting form needs just the Customer objects back or the Customer objects with the linked Order entities. I try to explain better: our form just wants to list Customers searching by surname. It has nothing to do with orders. So the business logic query will be something like: (from c in ctx.CustomerSet where c.Name.Contains(strQry) select c).ToList(); now this is working correctly. Two days later your boss asks you to add a form that let you search for customers like the other and you need to show the total count of orders created by each customer. Now I'd like to reuse that query and add the piece of logic that attach (includes) orders and gets back that. How would you front this request? Here is the best (I think) idea I had since now. I'd like to hear from you: my CustomerSearch method in BLL doesn't create the query directly but passes through private extension methods that compose the ObjectQuery like: private ObjectQuery<Customer> SearchCustomers(this ObjectQuery<Customer> qry, CustomerFilter myFilter) and private ObjectQuery<Customer> IncludeOrders(this ObjectQuery<Customer> qry) but this doesn't convince me as it seems too complex. Thanks, Marco

  • How to run an application as root without asking for an admin password?

    - by kvaruni
    I am writing a program in Objective-C (XCode 3.2, on Snow Leopard) that is capable of either selectively blocking certain sites for a duration or only allow certain sites (and thus block all others) for a duration. The reasoning behind this program is rather simple. I tend to get distracted when I have full internet access, but I do need internet access during my working hours to get to a number of work-related websites. Clearly, this is not a permanent block, but only helps me to focus whenever I find myself wandering a bit too much. At the moment, I am using a Unix script that is called via AppleScript to obtain Administrator permissions. It then activates a number of ipfw rules and clears those after a specific duration to restore full internet access. Simple and effective, but since I am running as a standard user, it gets cumbersome to enter my administrator password each and every time I want to go "offline". Furthermore, this is a great opportunity to learn to work with XCode and Objective-C. At the moment, everything works as expected, minus the actual blocking. I can add a number of sites in a list, specify whether or not I want to block or allow these websites and I can "start" the blocking by specifying a time until which I want to stay "offline". However, I find it hard to obtain clear information on how I can run a privileged Unix command from Objective-C. Ideally, I would like to be able to store information with respect to the Administrator account into the Keychain to use these later on, so that I can simply move into "offline" mode with the convenience of clicking a button. Even more ideally, there might be some class in Objective-C with which I can block access to some/all websites for this particular user without needing to rely on privileged Unix commands. A third possibility is in starting this program with root permissions and the reducing the permissions until I need them, but since this is a GUI application that is nested in the menu bar of OS X, the results are rather awkward and getting it to run each and every time with root permission is no easy task. Anyone who can offer me some pointers or advice? Please, no security-warnings, I am fully aware that what I want to do is a potential security threat.

  • Mootools - how to destroy a class instance

    - by Rob
    What I'm trying to do is create a class that I can quickly attach to links, that will fetch and display a thumbnail preview of the document being linked to. Now, I am focusing on ease of use and portability here, I want to simply add a mouseover event to links like this: <a href="some-document.pdf" onmouseover="new TestClass(this)">Testing</a> I realize there are other ways I can go about this that would solve my issue here, and I may end up having to do that, but right now my goal is to implement this as above. I don't want to manually add a mouseout event to each link, and I don't want code anywhere other than within the class (and the mouseover event creating the class instance). The code: TestClass = new Class({ initialize: function(anchor) { this.anchor = $(anchor); if(!this.anchor) return; if(!window.zzz) window.zzz = 0; this.id = ++window.zzz; this.anchor.addEvent('mouseout', function() { // i need to get a reference to this function this.hide(); }.bind(this)); this.show(); }, show: function() { // TODO: cool web 2.0 stuff here! }, hide: function() { alert(this.id); //this.removeEvent('mouseout', ?); // need reference to the function to remove /*** this works, but what if there are unrelated mouseout events? and the class instance still exists! ***/ //this.anchor.removeEvents('mouseout'); //delete(this); // does not work ! //this = null; // invalid assignment! //this = undefined; // invalid assignment! } }); What currently happens with the above code: 1st time out: alerts 1 2nd time out: alerts 1, 2 3rd time out: alerts 1, 2, 3 etc Desired behavior: 1st time out: alerts 1 2nd time out: alerts 2 3rd time out: alerts 3 etc The problem is, each time I mouse over the link, I'm creating a new class instance and appending a new mouseout event for that instance. The class instance also remains in memory indefinitely. On mouseout I need to remove the mouseout event and destroy the class instance, so on subsequent mouseovers we are starting fresh.

  • Android - How to scan Access Points and select strongest signal?

    - by Donal Rafferty
    I am currently trying to write a class in Android that will Scan for access points, calculate which access point has the best signal and then connect to that access point. So the application will be able to scan on the move and attach to new access points on the go. I have the scanning and calculation of the best signal working. But when it comes to attaching to the best access point I am having trouble. It appears that enableNetwork(netid, othersTrueFalse) is the only method for attaching to an Access point but this causes problems as from my Scan Results I am not able to get the id of the access point with the strongest signal. This is my code: public void doWifiScan(){ scanTask = new TimerTask() { public void run() { handler.post(new Runnable() { public void run() { sResults = wifiManager.scan(getBaseContext()); if(sResults!=null) Log.d("TIMER", "sResults count" + sResults.size()); ScanResult scan = wifiManager.calculateBestAP(sResults); wifiManager.addNewAccessPoint(scan); } }); }}; t.schedule(scanTask, 3000, 30000); } public ScanResult calculateBestAP(List<ScanResult> sResults){ ScanResult bestSignal = null; for (ScanResult result : sResults) { if (bestSignal == null || WifiManager.compareSignalLevel(bestSignal.level, result.level) < 0) bestSignal = result; } String message = String.format("%s networks found. %s is the strongest. %s is the bsid", sResults.size(), bestSignal.SSID, bestSignal.BSSID); Log.d("sResult", message); return bestSignal; } public void addNewAccessPoint(ScanResult scanResult){ WifiConfiguration wc = new WifiConfiguration(); wc.SSID = '\"' + scanResult.SSID + '\"'; //wc.preSharedKey = "\"password\""; wc.hiddenSSID = true; wc.status = WifiConfiguration.Status.ENABLED; wc.allowedGroupCiphers.set(WifiConfiguration.GroupCipher.TKIP); wc.allowedGroupCiphers.set(WifiConfiguration.GroupCipher.CCMP); wc.allowedKeyManagement.set(WifiConfiguration.KeyMgmt.WPA_PSK); wc.allowedPairwiseCiphers.set(WifiConfiguration.PairwiseCipher.TKIP); wc.allowedPairwiseCiphers.set(WifiConfiguration.PairwiseCipher.CCMP); wc.allowedProtocols.set(WifiConfiguration.Protocol.RSN); int res = mainWifi.addNetwork(wc); Log.d("WifiPreference", "add Network returned " + res ); boolean b = mainWifi.enableNetwork(res, false); Log.d("WifiPreference", "enableNetwork returned " + b ); } When I try to use addNewAccessPoint(ScanResult scanResult) it just adds another AP to the list in the settings application with the same name as the one with the best signal, so I end up with loads of duplicates and not actually attaching to them. Can anyone point me in the direction of a better solution?

  • Visual Studio 2005 - Debugger stopped working.

    - by eric
    More fun and pain with Visual Studio. Visual Studio 2005. About two months ago, I started an assignment. In my role, I cannot install or configure development software. Trust me this has given me plenty of heartburn. No IIS is involved here, just File Sharing. That being said, when I first started I had a problem with my debugger not working. The debugger just stopped. I was able to get it working. Now the problem has returned and I am pulling every last hair on my head. Almost none of my symbols loads. It can't find the PDB files. In Debugger options, I checked the Symbol section. My symbol file location entry is completely blank. ? I don't know why. I did not touch this prior to the problem occurring. I have cleared the Temporary ASP.NET folders. Example: Here is my Module Output CppCodeProvider.dll C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\CppCodeProvider\8.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\CppCodeProvider.dll No No Cannot find or open the PDB file. 17 8.0.50727.762 12/2/2006 4:23 AM 6A510000-6A52C000 [1844] WebDev.WebServer.EXE: Managed WebDev.WebHost.dll C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_32\WebDev.WebHost\8.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\WebDev.WebHost.dll No No Cannot find or open the PDB file. 3 8.0.50727.42 9/23/2005 4:20 AM 6D040000-6D050000 [1844] WebDev.WebServer.EXE: Managed So I enabled the SHFUSION.dll in my versio of the the Framework I am using... In my GAC, I can see this version of WebDev.WebHost.dll for example: ProcessArchitecture(x86) Public key token matches: b03f5f7f11d50a3a 8.0.50727.42 I then see some custom dlls. I should note, I created a new project. Recreated my files manually by importing them. The debugger worked 5 times and died. I'm at a loss of what to do next? The obvious has been checked: The project is set to Debug Configuration Manager Configuration Debug Platform .NET Build : checked. Web.Config: I have attempted to manually attach to the Webdev process from the Debug window and that doesn't work. I have googled this and this problem seems to occur quite a bit.

  • addSubview and autosizing

    - by neoneye
    How does one add views to a window, so that the views are resized to fit within the window frame? The problem I'm making a sheet window containing 2 views, where only one of them is visible at a time, so it's important that the views have the same size as the window. My problem is that either view0 fits correctly and view1 doesn't or the other way around. I can't figure out how to give them the same size as the window. Possible solution I could just make sure that both views have precisely the same size within Interface Builder, then it would work. However I'm looking for a way to do this programmatically. Screenshot of view0 Below you can see the autoresizing problem in the top and the right side, where the view is somehow clipped. Screenshot of view1 This view is resized correctly. Here is my code Can the views be resized before adding them to the window. Or is it better to do as I do now where the views are added one by one while changing the window frame. How do you do it? NSView* view0 = /* a view made with IB */; NSView* view1 = /* another view made with IB */; NSWindow* window = [self window]; NSRect window_frame = [window frame]; NSView* cv = [[[NSView alloc] initWithFrame:window_frame] autorelease]; [window setContentView:cv]; [cv setAutoresizesSubviews:YES]; // add subview so it fits within the contentview frame { NSView* v = view0; [v setHidden:YES]; [v setAutoresizesSubviews:NO]; [cv addSubview:v]; [v setFrameOrigin:NSZeroPoint]; [window setFrame:[v frame] display:NO]; [v setAutoresizesSubviews:YES]; } // add subview so it fits within the contentview frame { NSView* v = view1; [v setHidden:YES]; [v setAutoresizesSubviews:NO]; [cv addSubview:v]; [v setFrameOrigin:NSZeroPoint]; [window setFrame:[v frame] display:NO]; [v setAutoresizesSubviews:YES]; } // restore original window frame [window setFrame:window_frame display:YES]; [view0 setHidden:NO]; [view1 setHidden:YES];

  • iPhone scrollView won't scroll after keyboard is closed

    - by Rob
    I was trying to implement a way to have the UITextField move up when the keyboard opened so that the user could see what they were typing but after implementing the code - it locks my scroll. The view will scroll when the user first gets to that view but after inputting text and closing the keyboard it locks the view. I suspect that it is a problem somewhere in this code: - (void) viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { [super viewWillAppear:animated]; NSLog(@"Registering for keyboard events"); // Register for the events [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector (keyboardDidShow:) name: UIKeyboardDidShowNotification object:nil]; [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector (keyboardDidHide:) name: UIKeyboardDidHideNotification object:nil]; // Setup content size scrollView.contentSize = CGSizeMake(SCROLLVIEW_CONTENT_WIDTH, SCROLLVIEW_CONTENT_HEIGHT); //Initially the keyboard is hidden keyboardVisible = NO; } -(void) viewWillDisappear:(BOOL)animated { NSLog (@"Unregister for keyboard events"); [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] removeObserver:self]; } //**-------------------------------** - (void) keyboardDidShow: (NSNotification *)notif { NSLog(@"Keyboard is visible"); // If keyboard is visible, return if (keyboardVisible) { NSLog(@"Keyboard is already visible. Ignore notification."); return; } // Get the size of the keyboard. NSDictionary* info = [notif userInfo]; NSValue* aValue = [info objectForKey:UIKeyboardBoundsUserInfoKey]; CGSize keyboardSize = [aValue CGRectValue].size; // Save the current location so we can restore // when keyboard is dismissed offset = scrollView.contentOffset; // Resize the scroll view to make room for the keyboard CGRect viewFrame = scrollView.frame; viewFrame.size.height -= keyboardSize.height; scrollView.frame = viewFrame; CGRect textFieldRect = [activeField frame]; textFieldRect.origin.y += 10; [scrollView scrollRectToVisible:textFieldRect animated:YES]; NSLog(@"ao fim"); // Keyboard is now visible keyboardVisible = YES; } -(void) keyboardDidHide: (NSNotification *)notif { // Is the keyboard already shown if (!keyboardVisible) { NSLog(@"Keyboard is already hidden. Ignore notification."); return; } // Reset the frame scroll view to its original value scrollView.frame = CGRectMake(0, 0, SCROLLVIEW_CONTENT_WIDTH, SCROLLVIEW_CONTENT_HEIGHT); // Reset the scrollview to previous location scrollView.contentOffset = offset; // Keyboard is no longer visible keyboardVisible = NO; } -(BOOL) textFieldShouldBeginEditing:(UITextField*)textField { activeField = textField; return YES; } I defined the size above the #imports as: #define SCROLLVIEW_CONTENT_HEIGHT 1000 #define SCROLLVIEW_CONTENT_WIDTH 320 Really not sure what the issue is.

  • How do you stop a user-instance of Sql Server? (Sql Express user instance database files locked, eve

    - by Bittercoder
    When using SQL Server Express 2005's User Instance feature with a connection string like this: <add name="Default" connectionString="Data Source=.\SQLExpress; AttachDbFilename=C:\My App\Data\MyApp.mdf; Initial Catalog=MyApp; User Instance=True; MultipleActiveResultSets=true; Trusted_Connection=Yes;" /> We find that we can't copy the database files MyApp.mdf and MyApp_Log.ldf (because they're locked) even after stopping the SqlExpress service, and have to resort to setting the SqlExpress service from automatic to manual startup mode, and then restarting the machine, before we can then copy the files. It was my understanding that stopping the SqlExpress service should stop all the user instances as well, which should release the locks on those files. But this does not seem to be the case - could anyone shed some light on how to stop a user instance, such that it's database files are no longer locked? Update OK, I stopped being lazy and fired up Process Explorer. Lock was held by sqlserver.exe - but there are two instances of sql server: sqlserver.exe PID: 4680 User Name: DefaultAppPool sqlserver.exe PID: 4644 User Name: NETWORK SERVICE The file is open by the sqlserver.exe instance with the PID: 4680 Stopping the "SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS)" service, killed off the process with PID: 4644, but left PID: 4680 alone. Seeing as the owner of the remaining process was DefaultAppPool, next thing I tried was stopping IIS (this database is being used from an ASP.Net application). Unfortunately this didn't kill the process off either. Manually killing off the remaining sql server process does remove the open file handle on the database files, allowing them to be copied/moved. Unfortunately I wish to copy/restore those files in some pre/post install tasks of a WiX installer - as such I was hoping there might be a way to achieve this by stopping a windows service, rather then having to shell out to kill all instances of sqlserver.exe as that poses some problems: Killing all the sqlserver.exe instances may have undesirable consequencies for users with other Sql Server instances on their machines. I can't restart those instances easily. Introduces additional complexities into the installer. Does anyone have any further thoughts on how to shutdown instances of sql server associated with a specific user instance?

  • Model-View-Controller in JavaScript

    - by Casey Hope
    tl;dr: How does one implement MVC in JavaScript in a clean way? I'm trying to implement MVC in JavaScript. I have googled and reorganized with my code countless times but have not found a suitable solution. (The code just doesn't "feel right".) Here's how I'm going about it right now. It's incredibly complicated and is a pain to work with (but still better than the pile of code I had before). It has ugly workarounds that sort of defeat the purpose of MVC. And behold, the mess, if you're really brave: // Create a "main model" var main = Model0(); function Model0() { // Create an associated view and store its methods in "view" var view = View0(); // Create a submodel and pass it a function // that will "subviewify" the submodel's view var model1 = Model1(function (subview) { view.subviewify(subview); }); // Return model methods that can be used by // the controller (the onchange handlers) return { 'updateModel1': function (newValue) { model1.update(newValue); } }; } function Model1(makeSubView) { var info = ''; // Make an associated view and attach the view // to the parent view using the passed function var view = View1(); makeSubView(view.__view); // Dirty dirty // Return model methods that can be used by // the parent model (and so the controller) return { 'update': function (newValue) { info = newValue; // Notify the view of the new information view.events.value(info); } }; } function View0() { var thing = document.getElementById('theDiv'); var input = document.getElementById('theInput'); // This is the "controller", bear with me input.onchange = function () { // Ugly, uses a global to contact the model main.updateModel1(this.value); }; return { 'events': {}, // Adds a subview to this view. 'subviewify': function (subview) { thing.appendChild(subview); } }; } // This is a subview. function View1() { var element = document.createElement('div'); return { 'events': { // When the value changes this is // called so the view can be updated 'value': function (newValue) { element.innerHTML = newValue; } }, // ..Expose the DOM representation of the subview // so it can be attached to a parent view '__view': element }; } How does one implement MVC in JavaScript in a cleaner way? How can I improve this system? Or is this the completely wrong way to go, should I follow another pattern?

String x = (c.getString(3)+","+c.getString(2)); String xx = (cc.getString(3)+","+cc.getString(2)); String pairs[] = getDirectionData(x, xx); String[] lnglat = pairs[0].split(","); GeoPoint point = new GeoPoint((int) (Double.parseDouble(lnglat[1]) *1E6),(int)(Double.parseDouble(lnglat[0]) * 1E6)); GeoPoint gp1; GeoPoint gp2 = point; for (int j = 1;j < pairs.length; j++){ lnglat = pairs[j].split(","); gp1 = gp2; gp2 = new GeoPoint((int) (Double.parseDouble(lnglat[1]) *1E6),(int) (Double.parseDouble(lnglat[0]) * 1E6)); mapView.getOverlays().add(new jalur(gp1, gp2,angkot)); } } and it's my jalur.java code public class jalur extends Overlay { private GeoPoint gp1; private GeoPoint gp2; private String angkot; private Context mContext;   • How to move a google doc into a folder using Zend Gdata

    - by Andre
    Hi Guys I am really struggling with moving a document from my root folder to another folder using zend gdata here is how i am trying to do it, but its not working. $service = Zend_Gdata_Docs::AUTH_SERVICE_NAME; $client = Zend_Gdata_ClientLogin::getHttpClient($gUser, $gPass, $service); $link = "https://docs.google.com/feeds/documents/private/full/spreadsheet:0AUFNVEpLOVg2U0E"; // Not real id for privacy purposes $docs = new Zend_GData_Docs($client); // Attach a category object of folder to this entry // I have tried many variations of this including attaching label categories $cat = new Zend_Gdata_App_Extension_Category('My Folder Name','http://schemas.google.com/docs/2007#folder'); $entry = $docs->getDocumentListEntry($link); $entry->setCategory(array($cat)); $return = $docs->updateEntry($entry,$entry->getEditLink()->href); When I run this I get No errors, but nothing seems to change, and the return data does not contain the new category. EDIT: Ok I realised that its not the category but the link that decides which "collection" (folder) a resource belongs too. https://developers.google.com/google-apps/documents-list/#managing_collections_and_their_contents says that each resource has as et of parent links, so I tried changing my code to do set link instead of set category, but this did not work. $folder = "https://docs.google.com/feeds/documents/private/full/folder%3A0wSFA2WHc"; $rel = "http://schemas.google.com/docs/2007#parent"; $linkObj = new Zend_Gdata_App_Extension_Link($folder,$rel,'application/atom+xml', NULL,'Folder Name'); $links = $entry->getLink(); array_push($links,$linkObj); $entry->setLink($links); $return = $docs->updateEntry($entry,$entry->getEditLink()->href); EDIT: SOLVED [nearly] OK Here is how to move/copy, sort of, from one folder to another: simpler than initially thought, but problem is it creates a reference and NOT a move! It now in both places at the same time.... // Folder you wnat to move too $folder = "https://docs.google.com/feeds/folders/private/full/folder%asdsad"; $data = $docs->insertDocument($entry, $folder); // Entry is the entry you want moved using insert automatically assigns link & category for you...

  • Debugging site written mainly in JScript with AJAX code injection

    - by blumidoo
    Hello, I have a legacy code to maintain and while trying to understand the logic behind the code, I have run into lots of annoying issues. The application is written mainly in Java Script, with extensive usage of jQuery + different plugins, especially Accordion. It creates a wizard-like flow, where client code for the next step is downloaded in the background by injecting a result of a remote AJAX request. It also uses callbacks a lot and pretty complicated "by convention" programming style (lots of events handlers are created on the fly based on certain object names - e.g. current page name, current step name). Adding to that, the code is very messy and there is no obvious inner structure - the functions are scattered in the code, file names do not reflect the business role of the code, lots of functions and code snippets are most likely not used at all etc. PROBLEM: How to approach this code base, so that the inner flow of the code can be sort-of "reverse engineered" using a suite of smart debugging tools. Ideally, I would like to be able to attach to the running application and step through the code, breaking on each new function call. Also, it would be nice to be able to create a "diagram of calls" in the application (i.e. in order to run a particular page logic, this particular flow of function calls was executed in a particular order). Not to mention to be able to run a coverage analysis, identifying potentially orphaned code fragments. I would like to stress out once more, that it is impossible to understand the inner logic of the application just by looking at the code itself, unless you have LOTS of spare time and beer crates, which I unfortunately do not have :/ (shame...) An IDE of some sort that would aid in extending that code would be also great, but I am currently looking into possibility to use Visual Studio 2010 to do the job, as the site itself is a mix of Classic ASP and ASP.NET (I'd say - 70% Java Script with jQuery, 30% ASP). I have obviously tried FireBug, but I was unable to find a way to define a breakpoint or step into the code, which is "injected" into the client JS using AJAX calls (i.e. the application retrieves the code by invoking an URL and injects it to the client local code). Venkman debugger had similar issues. Any hints would be welcome. Feel free to ask additional questions.

  • How to have member variables and public methods in a jQuery plugin?

    - by user169867
    I'm trying to create a jQuery plugin that will create something like an autoCompleteBox but with custom features. How do I store member variables for each matching jQuery element? For example I'll need to store a timerID for each. I'd also like to store references to some of the DOM elements that make up the control. I'd like to be able to make a public method that works something like: $("#myCtrl").autoCompleteEx.addItem("1"); But in the implementation of addItem() how can I access the member variables for that particular object like its timerID or whatever? Below is what I have so far... Thanks for any help or suggestions! (function($) { //Attach this new method to jQuery $.fn.autoCompleteEx = function(options) { //Merge Given Options W/ Defaults, But Don't Alter Either var opts = $.extend({}, $.fn.autoCompleteEx.defaults, options); //Iterate over the current set of matched elements return this.each(function() { var acx = $(this); //Get JQuery Version Of Element (Should Be Div) //Give Div Correct Class & Add <ul> w/ input item to it acx.addClass("autoCompleteEx"); acx.html("<ul><li class=\"input\"><input type=\"text\"/></li></ul>"); //Grab Input As JQ Object var input = $("input", acx); //Wireup Div acx.click(function() { input.focus().val( input.val() ); }); //Wireup Input input.keydown(function(e) { var kc = e.keyCode; if(kc == 13) //Enter { } else if(kc == 27) //Esc { } else { //Resize TextArea To Input var width = 50 + (_txtArea.val().length*10); _txtArea.css("width", width+"px"); } }); }); //End Each JQ Element }; //End autoCompleteEx() //Private Functions function junk() { }; //Public Functions $.fn.autoCompleteEx.addItem = function(id,txt) { var x = this; var y = 0; }; //Default Settings $.fn.autoCompleteEx.defaults = { minChars: 2, delay: 300, maxItems: 1 }; //End Of Closure })(jQuery);
