To clearly separate the Controller and View layers, I do not longer want to pass full objects to my views. Instead I want to pass only arrays and objects that contain the data but do not have any methods. Otherwise a view script would be able to delete Doctrine records or traverse in the object tree to data that was not intended for the view.
I'm a real newbie to java, so please excuse me if this is a hopelessly straightforward problem.
I have the following from my java game server:
// Get input from the client
DataInputStream in = new DataInputStream (server.getInputStream());
PrintStream out = new PrintStream(server.getOutputStream());
disconnect=false;
while((line = in.readLine().trim()) != null && !line.equals(".") && !line.equals("") && !disconnect) {
System.out.println("Received "+line);
if(line.equals("h")){
out.println("h"+EOF); // Client handshake
System.out.println("Matched 1");
}else if (line.equals("<policy-file-request/>")) {
out.println("..."+EOF); // Policy file
System.out.println(server.getInetAddress()+": Policy Request");
disconnect=true;
System.out.println("Matched 2");
}else if(line.substring(0,3).equals("GET")||line.substring(0,4).equals("POST")){
out.println("HTTP/1.0 200 OK\nServer: VirtuaRoom v0.9\nContent-Type: text/html\n\n..."); // HTML status page
disconnect=true;
System.out.println("Matched 3");
} else {
System.out.println(server.getInetAddress()+": Unknown command, client disconnected.");
disconnect=true;
System.out.println("Matched else");
}
}
server.close();
First of all, the client sends an "h" packet, and expects the same back (handshake). However, I want it to disconnect the client when an unrecognised packet is received. For some reason, it responds fine to the handshake and HTML status request, but the else clause is never executed when there's an unknown packet.
Thanks
I have a div which, when my page is first loaded, is about 100px from the top (it holds some buttons etc. for the page).
When a user scrolls past it, I would like the div to "follow" the user in that it attaches to the top of the screen. When the user returns to the top of the page, I want it back in its original position.
Visualization - xxxxx is the div:
Default (page load) User vertically scrolled well past it
--------- ---------
| | |xxxxxxx| < after div reaches top of screen when
|xxxxxxx| | | page is scrolled vertically, it stays
| | | | there
--------- ---------
What I'm trying to do is to print my two-dimensional array but i'm
lost.
The first function is running perfect, the problem is the second or maybe the way I'm
passing it to the "Print" function.
#include <stdio.h>
#include <stdlib.h>
#define ROW 2
#define COL 2
//Memory allocation and values input
void func(int **arr)
{
int i, j;
arr = (int**)calloc(ROW,sizeof(int*));
for(i=0; i < ROW; i++)
arr[i] = (int*)calloc(COL,sizeof(int));
printf("Input: \n");
for(i=0; i<ROW; i++)
for(j=0; j<COL; j++)
scanf_s("%d", &arr[i][j]);
}
//This is where the problem begins or maybe it's in the main
void print(int **arr)
{
int i, j;
for(i=0; i<ROW; i++)
{
for(j=0; j<COL; j++)
printf("%5d", arr[i][j]);
printf("\n");
}
}
void main()
{
int *arr;
func(&arr);
print(&arr); //maybe I'm not passing the arr right ?
}
After adding items, attempting to view my cart leads me to this error:
nil can't be coerced into Float
with the math line in this method in my line_item model highlighted:
def total_price
product.price * quantity
end
line items create action
def create
product = Product.find(params[:product_id])
@line_item = @cart.add_product(product.id)
@line_item.quantity = params[:quantity]
view
<div id= "text_field"><%= text_field_tag 'quantity' %> </div>
<%= button_to 'Add to Cart', line_items_path(:product_id => product) %>
This has held me back for a couple days. (I'm new). Thanks.
Essentially, I just want to change the home button from just hiding my app to killing the activity that is on the screen.
I thought about writing a broadcast receiver that kills the activity, but I'm not sure how to kill the activity from the receiver.
How do I change the functionality of the home button to "finish" the specific activity?
Thanks
So I have a managed AlertDialog with a number of EditTexts & separate portrait + landscape layouts. The user opens the dialog in portrait mode, enters some text and then all of a sudden decides to pop out the keyboard. Now, I need to remove the dialog and recreate it for the changed layout persisting the text entered.
What I can think of is getting references to the EdiTexts in onPrepareDialog(..), then getting the actual text in onConfigurationChanged(..), then removing the dialog, then showing it again, then populating it. Rather ugly, huh?
Are there any better options?
Is it possible to get the name of a node using minidom?
for example i have a node:
<heading><![CDATA[5 year]]></heading>
what i'm trying to do is store the value heading so that i can use it as a key in a dictionary,
the closest i can get is something like
[<DOM Element: heading at 0x11e6d28>]
i'm sure i'm overlooking something very simple here, thanks!
Are you able to use open id to log into the local development server with google app engine sdk version 1.4.1 and python 2.5?
When I execute this
self.redirect(users.create_login_url(continue_url, None, openid_url))
I get redirected to http://localhost/_ah/login rather than the openid url.
The openid url and continue url are valid.
My app.yaml looks like this
- url: /_ah/login_required
script: do_openid_login.py
- url: /users/(.*)
script: routers/user_router.py
login: required
If I browse to http://localhost/users/ I am also redirected to http://localhost/_ah/login rather than http://localhost/_ah/login_required
Is there a config issue or does openid not work locally?
I was looking at the metadata for System.Web.Configuration.CompilationSection, and noticed the following attribute on the TimeSpan BatchTimeout property:
[TimeSpanValidator(MinValueString = "00:00:00",
MaxValueString = "10675199.02:48:05.4775807")]
Could someone explain why this is the allowed max value? TimeSpan itself has an upper limit, so why would there be another value validation, and why this number?
The title explains it well. I have set up Notepad++ to open the python script in the command prompt when I press F8 but all Swedish characters looks messed up when opening in CMD but perfectly fine in e.g IDLE.
This simple example code:
#!/usr/bin/env python
#-*- coding: UTF-8 -*-
print "åäö"
Looks like this.
As you can see the output of the bath file I use to open Python in cmd below shows the characthers correctly but not the python script above it. How do i fic this?
`*the midvile park maintains records containing info about players on it's soccer teams . each record contain a players first name,last name,and team number . the team are
team number team name
1 goal getters
2 the force
3 top gun
4 shooting stars
5 midfield monsters
design a proggram that accept player data and creates a report that lists each player along with his or her team number and team name
I notice my query doesn't behave correctly if one of the like variables is empty:
SELECT name
FROM employee
WHERE name LIKE '%a%'
AND color LIKE '%A%'
AND city LIKE '%b%'
AND country LIKE '%B%'
AND sport LIKE '%c%'
AND hobby LIKE '%C%'
Now when a and A are not empty it works but when a, A and c are not empty the c part is not excuted so it seems?
How can I fix this?
Suppose I have a span:
<span class="myspan"></span>
.myspan{
background: url(image.png) top left no-repeat;
}
How do I make it so that when people hover my span, it shows "image_hover.png"?
Basically, this question with a difference...
Is it possible to capture print output from a TSQL stored procedure in .NET, using the Entity Framework?
The solution in the other question doesn't work for me. It works with the connection type from System.Data.SqlClient but I'm using the one from System.Data.EntityClient which does not have an InfoMessage event. (Of course, I could just create an SQL connection based on the Entity connection settings, but prefer to do it directly.)
d = {'apple':9,'oranges':3,'grapes':22}
How do I return the largest key/value?
Edit: How do I make a list that has this sorted by largest to lowest value?
hey I'm writing on an Server-Client program
but when my client sends something, it never reaches my server!
I'm sending like this:
public void Send(string s)
{
char[] chars = s.ToCharArray();
byte[] bytes = chars.CharToByte();
nstream.Write(bytes, 0, bytes.Length);
nstream.Flush();
}
and Receiving in a background thread like this
void CheckIncoming(object dd)
{
RecievedDelegate d = (RecievedDelegate)dd;
try
{
while (true)
{
List<byte> bytelist = new List<byte>();
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(1000);
int ssss;
ssss = nstream.ReadByte();
if (ssss > 1)
{
System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Break();
}
if (bytelist.Count != 0)
{
d.Invoke(bytelist.ToArray());
}
}
}
catch (Exception exp)
{
MSGBOX("ERROR:\n" + exp.Message);
}
}
the ssss int is never 1
whats happening here???
MYMESSAGE = "<div>Hello</div><p></p>Hello"
send_mail("testing",MYMESSAGE,"[email protected]",['[email protected]'],fail_silently=False)
However, this message doesn't get the HTML mime type when it is sent. In my outlook, I see the code...
