  • is there a way to disconnect from facebook login without calling logout

    Basically, I'd like to know how I can logout of my facebook session if I am in an iphone app and have connected to facebook (such that I do not have to repeatedly enter my login/password). Normally you'd disconnect in the app somewhere like in the options, but if this is not available (i.e. anything that triggers the FBSession logout method) is there some other way to do it? I'm guessing one could restore their phone to factory settings or something.

    Hey, How do you set the id of an Html.Form in ASP.NET MVC 2? I tried this: <% using (Html.BeginForm("Save", "Clients", new { id = "SubmitForm" })) {%> But it doesn't work, my form still doesn't have an id property: <form action="/TothSolutions/Secure/Clients/Save/SubmitForm" method="post"> I'm guessing this worked in ASP.NET MVC 1 but not 2. The reason I need the id property set is so that I can do jQuery validation on the form: $("#myForm").validate etc... Thanks, Justin

I cannot do something on my winforms application like something: var myStream= (System.IO.Stream)client.GetStream(path); because i Cannot cast expression "MyWinformsApp.MyService.Stream" to Stream. Why is that ?

The state of the week will be saved as a 'varbinary' with a length of 168 which will represent every hour of everyday of a week.     I have this insert command where iam trying to insert a number to be taken from loop i=0 for line in column: myStmt.executeQuery("INSERT INTO REVERSE_COL ( TABLE_NAME,COL_NAME,POS) values (,'test','"+column[i]+"','"+i+"'") i=i+1 POS IS NUMBER DATATYPE but it works if i hard code as 1 i=0 for line in column: myStmt.executeQuery("INSERT INTO REVERSE_COL ( TABLE_NAME,COL_NAME,POS) values (,'test','"+column[i]+"',1") I have tried only i , +i+ and other method but its not working any suggestion how to solve this .   • Extension Methods - IsNull and IsNotNull, good or bad use?

    I like readability. So, I came up with an extension mothod a few minutes ago for the (x =! null) type syntax, called IsNotNull. Inversly, I also created a IsNull extension method, thus if(x == null) becomes if(x.IsNull()) and if(x != null) becomes if(x.IsNotNull()) However, I'm worried I might be abusing extension methods. Do you think that this is bad use of Extenion methods?

  • Need unicode characters in UITableView from SQLlite database

    I have some NSString varibales that incude items like Ð and Õ and if I do cell.textLabel.text = person.name; and if it contains one of those characters the cell.textlabel is blank! I have discovered that if I use NSString *col1 = [NSString stringWithUTF8String:(char *)sqlite3_column_text(compiledStatement, 0)]; To pull my data back it pulls back null, however using the deprectared method NSString *col1 = [NSString stringWithCString:(char *)sqlite3_column_text(compiledStatement, 0)]; Shows the characters! Any ideas?
