  Could someone write down a very simple basic example in javascript to conceptualize (and hopefully make me understand) how the jQuery plugin design pattern is done and how it works? I'm not interested in how creating plugin for jQuery (so no jQuery code here at all). • Lookups with multiple values are not showing porperly in sharepoint edit and display custom form

  HELP! For some reason when I create a custom edit or display form, all the lookup fields are showing in a weird way or not showing any value at all, can someone explain to me how I am suppose to fix that, I know it has something to do where it say select="@value" in the display form. • "this" in function parameter

  Looking at some code examples for HtmlHelpers, and I see declarations that look like: public static string HelperName(this HtmlHelper htmlHelper, ...more regular params ) I can't remember seeing this type of construct any where else - can someone explain the purpose of the "this"? I thought that by declaring something public static meant that the class did not need to be instantiated - so what is "this" in this case?

• pointer uchar* question in opencv vc++ 2008

  img_hsv is a Mat element of an hsv image! when i give cout<<*img_hsv.data+10; it gives true value of the pixel ie 79 as output. but when i assign uchar * a=img_hsv.data+10; it gives me some other value... can you please explain me why is this the case? thanks!

• SQL Server 2005 I get "The database is not accessible"

  I have a computer working as a server with many SQL Server 2005 databases in it since two years ago. Today, I don't know why, when I try to connect locally to any of the databases it gives me that error. It fails even if I'm logged in using Windows Authentication or as 'sa' user. It just wouldn't let me access the databases' info. Could anybody explain me what's going on?

  What is the best way to produce several tables of unknown size on the same worksheet? Values will be pulled from an oracle database and are used as values on several tables. Is it possible to create dynamic named ranges or is some other method desirable? I have some experience with c# but do not have access to VSTO 2005.   Can someone explain to me why when I perform a LIKE select in SQL (T-SQL) on a varchar column I can do the following: SELECT * FROM Table WHERE Name LIKE 'Th%' to get names beginning with Th, but when I do the same on a datetime column I need a % before the year, like: SELECT * FROM Table WHERE Date LIKE '%2013%' to get dates in 2013. The datetimes are stored in yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss format. I know I could use a DATEPART style query but I was just interested in why I need the extra % here.
