  • Is there a way to get programmatic access to the columns of a ActiveReports detail section?

    Hello, I have a report in Data Dynamics ActiveReports for .NET. In this report I am programmatically setting the ColumnCount property of the detail section to X. The detail section has one databound textbox. The ColumnDirection property of the detail section is set to AcrossDown and the and then the data binding mechanism automatically fills across with data after setting the DataSource and DataMember. Here is the code... Public Sub RunReport Dim count As Integer = 0 ' ... get count Detail1.ColumnCount = count Me.DataSource = ds Me.DataMember = ds.Tables(0).TableName End Sub That code works fine and the data is automatically filled across the report. Now I need to alter the report and circle or highlight one of the items that is auto-filled across columns in the report. I cannot find any way to programmatically access the auto-generated columns so I can turn on a border or draw a circle or something. Any ideas how I would do that? Seth

  • Reference from UITableViewCell to UITableView to UINavigationController

    If the user taps and holds on a Foo table view cell for 2 seconds, a modal view should be shown. The modal view is also displayed when a new Foo is added to the cell. The modal view's delegate protocol is implemented by the parent UITableView subclass. My tap and hold detection code is in the Foo UITableViewCell class. I'm having difficulty referencing the parent tableview's navigation controller to display the modal view. FooModalViewController *modalController = [[FooModalViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"FooModalViewController" bundle:nil]; FooTableViewController *tableView = (FooTableViewController *) self.superview; foo.delegate = tableView; Seems OK but I'm having problems referencing the navigation controller that contains the tableview.. The code below builds OK but throws an exception - NSOBject DoesNotRecognizeSelector. UINavigationController *navigationController = [[UINavigationController alloc] initWithRootViewController:modalController]; [[tableView.navigationController] presentModalViewController:navigationController animated:YES]; I think that perhaps my design is flawed..?

    hi guys, I am having some trouble with my little facebook application, I keep getting this friggin error, "Fatal error: Call to undefined method Facebook::require_login()", now the funny bit is that my exact same code is working for other people, but not for me, here is the code. <?php require_once( "facebook-php-sdk/src/facebook.php" ); $api_key = "my_api_key"; $secret = "my_secret_key"; $facebook = new Facebook( $api_key, $secret ); $user_id = $facebook->require_login(); echo "Hello World"; echo "Current logged in as <fb:name uid=\"$user_id\" />"; ?> As you can see it is a simple hello USER application, but for some reason this REFUSES to work for me, so if anyone can help out that would be great, thanx in advance!

Except I am noticing something that seems off and I can't quite figure out why this is happening... The following code... Any clues? Edit on 3/20/2010: Seeing as how I couldnt use rangeOfUnit:inUnit:forDate to calculate the number of weeks in a month. I decided to figure out a different way of calculating the same value. I figured I should do this in a non-Gregorian localized way, so I attempted to start with getting the number of days in a week, but I got the result of 28 days in a week. So I started writing more code to figure out why... I wanted to make sure that the type of NSCalendar that I was playing with was in fact what I was supposed to be getting...     I have a block of ciphertext that was created using the JCE algorithim "PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC". The provider is BouncyCastle. What I'd like to do it decrypt this ciphertext using the BouncyCastle lightweight API. I don't want to use JCE because that requires installing the Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy Files. Documentation seems to be thin on the ground when it comes to using BC with PBE and AES. Here's what I have so far. The decryption code runs without exception but returns rubbish.   • python pdb not breaking in files properly?

    Hi Folks, I wish I could provide a simple sample case that occurs using standard library code, but unfortunately it only happens when using one of our in-house libraries that in turn is built on top of sql alchemy. Basically, the problem is that this break command: (Pdb) print sqlalchemy.engine.base.__file__ /prod/eggs/SQLAlchemy-0.5.5-py2.5.egg/sqlalchemy/engine/base.py (Pdb) break /prod/eggs/SQLAlchemy-0.5.5-py2.5.egg/sqlalchemy/engine/base.py:946 Is just being totally ignored, it seems, by pdb. As in, even though I am positive the code is being hit (both because I can see log messages, and because I've used sys.settrace to check which lines in which files are being hit), pdb is just not breaking there. I suspect that somehow the use of an egg is confusing pdb as to what files are being used (I can't reproduce the error if I use a non-egg'ed library, like pickle; there everything works fine).   • Does UIGestureRecognizer work on a UIWebView?

    I am attempting to get a UIGestureRecognizer working with a UIWebview which is a subview of a UIScrollView. This sounds odd but when I have the numberOfTouchesRequired set to 2 the selector fires, but when numberOfTouchesRequired is set to one the selector doesn't fire. This simplified code initializes the editor: $('textarea.tinymce').tinymce({ script_url : '../js/libraries/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js' }); This loads tiny_mce.js via AJAX. I have code that I want to run once this file is loaded. I essentially want to specify a callback function, but there is no mention of this in the documentation for the plugin. Any ideas? I would be up for adding the functionality if it is not there but I cannot find an uncompressed version of the plugin.

  • Using GraphicsServices.h/GSEvent as well as compiling CLI iPhone tools with XCode

    I sent this to KennyTM (has all the private framework headers on GitHub) but I figured I'd ask here too just in case someone has some good ideas or any way to help me out. I'm trying to write a command line utility that sends GSEvents to operate the keyboard, touch/drag elements onscreen, and operate hardware buttons (volume, home, sleep, etc.) I grabbed the MouseSupport code and tried to look through it, but I couldn't find the easiest way to send GSEvents. I'm hoping someone here can help me. First, what's the simplest way to declare a GSEvent and send it? I looked at the iPhone development wiki, but the documentation was very vague. I understand that there's a purple event port (?) that I have to send these events to, but I don't understand how to do that. Could someone offer examples for, say, touching at a coordinate, typing a certain key, or pressing a hardware button? Also, do I have to write or do anything special if I want this utility to operate all applications as well as Springboard? I don't know if this is a special case because I want it at the OS level. Ideally, I would SSH into the phone, start the program, and it would send GSEvents that would be handled by whatever application was open. As far as compiling this code, is there any way to do so under XCode? I don't know what sort of project template I should use (if any) and this is throwing me off. I don't need "build and go" support, I'm more than happy to scp the program over to the phone. I understand that compiling the code is also feasible on the phone. I have all of the headers from the SDK on my phone along with iphone-gcc, but when compiling some test programs I still get errors about not finding mach headers and CoreFoundation. Is there an easier way to do this? Lastly, are there other guides or pieces of literature that anyone can point me towards for learning more about this? I'm excited to get into open iPhone development (I have experience with the official SDK, but I want to go deeper). Thanks for any and all help people can offer!

    Hi all, Is it possible for a process to lower itself from elevated UAC permission back to standard user? If not can the elevated process launch its copy with standard user token and then kill itself? Any code examples (C# preferred)? Details: Problem: - user installs my product (written in C#) - the installer elevates its UAC permission to admin - at the end the installer launches my exe - the exe inherits elevated permissions from admin - the exe mounts network drives which become invisible in Windows Explorer (that runs with regular permissions) Options I considered: 1) break installer into outer exe and inner exe, that runs with elevated permission. The install consists of 1000+ lines of NSIS code and I don't know anything about NSIS 2) mounting drives with lower permissions. If I do it Win Explorer can see the drives but my exe cannot 3) setting EnableLinkedConnection registry option to 1. This is a no-go because it requires PC reboot during the installation.     Hi, I'm creating a simple SDI app using the new VS2008 service pack. I added ribbon support but all I want on the ribbon are the Open & Close buttons. I commented out all the code that creates the other default buttons and categories but doing this also gets rid of the status bar (CMFCRibbonStatusBar). I can't find what member function is called when I click the checkbox that displays the statusbar in the default generated code. I've tried the following but it doesn't work: m_wndStatusBar.ShowWindow( SW_SHOWNORMAL ); How do I have the status bar showing without having to have the 'Home' category and 'View' panel (with the 'Show status bar' checkbox) being generated?     Hi Guys, This will probably be a bot of a waffly question but ill try my best. I have a simple c++ program that i need to build testing for. I have 2 Classes i use besides the one i actually am using, these are called WebServer and BusinessLogicLayer. To test my own code i have made my own versions of these classes that feed dummy data to my class to test it functionality. I need to know a way of somehow, via a makefile for instance, how to tell the source code to use the test classes over the normally used classes. The test classes are in a different "tester" c++ file, and the tester c++ file also has its own header file. Regards Paul P.S.     Hey All, Is is possible to set a region based on a current location in a mapview only one time. I want my iphone app to get the current location, zoom into that current location, and then allow the user to scroll around. However, because my setRegion code is in my didUpdateToLocation function, every time the current location is updated, so is the region, and I can't scroll around on the map. I tried putting this setRegion code in the viewDidLoad function, but the user's current location isn't initialized at this point, so it doesn't work right. Any ideas?

    I'm trying to read mails from my live.com account, via the POP3 protocol. I've found the the server is pop3.live.com and the port if 995. I'm not planning on using a pre-made library, I'm using NetworkStream and StreamReader/StreamWriter for the job. I need to figure this out.     I have a couple of views that access the movie player. I've put the following code in a method in AppDelegate for these views. They send in the filename to play. The code works fine but I know a release is required somewhere. If I add the last line as a release or autorelease, the app will crash once the user presses done on the movieplayer.     I would manipulate the contact groups in Android 2.O. My code is following: To get a list of group (with id and title): final String[] GROUP_PROJECTION = new String[] { ContactsContract.Groups._ID, ContactsContract.Groups.TITLE }; Cursor cursor = ctx.managedQuery(ContactsContract.Groups.CONTENT_URI, GROUP_PROJECTION, null, null, ContactsContract.Groups.TITLE + " ASC"); Later, on an ListView, I select a group (onClick event) and read all contacts belong to this selected group by following code: String where = ContactsContract.CommonDataKinds.GroupMembership.GROUP_ROW_ID + "=" + groupid + " AND " + ContactsContract.CommonDataKinds.GroupMembership.MIMETYPE + "='" + ContactsContract.CommonDataKinds.GroupMembership.CONTENT_ITEM_TYPE + "'"; Problem: ContactsContract.Groups._ID in the first query does not match with the ContactsContract.CommonDataKinds.GroupMembership.GROUP_ROW_ID in the second query.
