    I was wondering if there is any library that can be used to represent SQL queries as objects in Java. In the code I have plenty of static variables of type java.lang.String that are hand written SQL queries. I would be looking for library having a nice fluent API that allows me to represent the queries as objects rather than strings. Example: Query q = select("DATE", "QUOTE") .from("STOCKMARKET") .where(eq("CORP", "?")) .orderBy("DATE", DESC);

  • How do I make a rectangle move in an image?

    Basically I have an image loaded, and when I click a portion of the image, a rectangle (with no fill) shows up. If I click another part of the image again, that rectangle will show up once more. With each click, the same rectangle should appear. So far I have this code, now I don't know how to make the image appear. My image from my file directory.     Seems like a straitforward question but I can't quite figure it out myself... I have an actionlink like so Html.ActionLink( "Test", "test", new { q = "search+twitter" } ) This produces a url string as follows http://myserver/test?q=search%2Btwitter But i would like to preserve the plus sign (which i assume is being UrlPathEncoded) so that I get the following url http://myserver/test?q=search+twitter Is there an easy way to do this whilst still using Html.ActionLink ?

Given the unique number how can i open or copy this file? for example: I have been given the number '7656875' and nothing more. I need to interact with a file called '\server\7656800\7656875 foobar 2x4'. how can i achieve this using PHP?

  • ASP.NET MVC 2 Preview 2 Route Request Not Working

    Here's the error: The incoming request does not match any route. Basically I upgraded from Preview 1 to Preview 2 and got rid of a load of redundant stuff in relation to areas (as described by Phil Haack). It didn't work so I created a brand new project to check out how its dealt with in Preview 2. The file Default.aspx no longer exists which contains the following: public void Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e) { // Change the current path so that the Routing handler can correctly interpret // the request, then restore the original path so that the OutputCache module // can correctly process the response (if caching is enabled). string originalPath = Request.Path; HttpContext.Current.RewritePath(Request.ApplicationPath, false); IHttpHandler httpHandler = new MvcHttpHandler(); httpHandler.ProcessRequest(HttpContext.Current); HttpContext.Current.RewritePath(originalPath, false); } The error I received points to the line httpHandler.ProcessRequest(HttpContext.Current); yet in newer projects none of this even exists. To test it, I quickly deleted Default.aspx but then absolutely nothing worked, I didn't even receive any errors. For example, I can set my rxvt-unicode clients to become darker when their windows don't have focus with this string in ~/.Xdefaults: URxvt*fading: 50 It greatly reduces discomfort when you have a lot of terminal windows on 2+ monitors.     I have text in the follwing format: ERR_OUT_OF_MEM, "ERR OUT OF MEM" ERR_SOMETHING_BAD, "ERR SOMETHING BAD" I want to replace all spaces in the text which are within quotes with underscores: ERR_OUT_OF_MEM, "ERR_OUT_OF_MEM" ERR_SOMETHING_BAD, "ERR_SOMETHING_BAD" The best regex I could come up with is: \("\w\+\)\@<= (there's a space at the end of that) but this only finds the first space in each quoted string, and I would need to repeat this multiple times to get the desired effect. Any way to do it in one shot? Thanks!

  • Swing: does DefaultBoundedRangeModel coalesce multiple events?

    I have a JProgressBar displaying a BoundedRangeModel which is extremely fine grained and I was concerned that updating it too often would slow down my computer. So I wrote a quick test program (see below) which has a 10Hz timer but each timer tick makes 10,000 calls to microtick() which in turn increments the BoundedRangeModel. Yet it seems to play nicely with a JProgressBar; my CPU is not working hard to run the program. How does JProgressBar or DefaultBoundedRangeModel do this?
