I'd like to setup a RegularExpressionValidator to ensure users are entering valid windows IDs in a textbox.
Specifically, I'd like to ensure it's any three capital letters (for our range of domains), followed by a backslash, followed by any number of letters and numbers.
Does anyone know where I can find some examples of this type of validation...or can somebody whip one up for me? :)
Please, have a look at: http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/base-css.html
There are many examples like this one:
if you look closer to the block borders, you can see that the gray block is under the white one. Using the browser's developer tools you can see that both boxes have an inherited z-index: auto;
I can't reproduce this effect on my website (without using z-index).
So, my question is: Why is the gray block under the white one?
I have seen a few examples of how to create RSS feeds using ASP.NET MVC, either by creating an Action or through an HttpHandler.
I need to authenticate feeds and am wondering how this is to be done (and supported by RSS readers rather than just browsing to the page/xml through a browser) and how would authentications differ between an MVC Action or HttpHandler?
I am so frustrated right now after several hours trying to find where shared_ptr is located. None of the examples I see show complete code to include the headers for shared_ptr (and working). Simply stating "std" "tr1" and "" is not helping at all! I have downloaded boosts and all but still it doesn't show up! Can someone help me by telling exactly where to find it?
Thanks for letting me vent my frustrations!
So I want to capture some key-commands in our Docuement-level Excel VSTO addin. I can't seem to find a way to do it, other than to use VBA and have our addin talk to the VBA. Any help/examples would be greatly appreciated.
I am using Excel 2007.
Is this possible to have two (or more) different kinds of cells to be displayed interchangeably in single column of C# .Net 3.5 DataGridView?
I know one column has specified single EditingControl type, yet I think grid is flexible enough to do some tricks, I may think of only:
Adding as many invisible columns to grid as required types of cells and on CellBeginEdit somehow exchange current cell with other column's cell
Create custom column and custom cell with possibility of changing EditingControl for single cell
Which approach is better, are there any examples ?
I guess it is not possible to set stroke property such as CSS which is quite easy. With CSS we have dashed, dotted, solid but on canvas when drawing lines/or strokes this doesn't seem to be an option. How have you implemented this?
I've seen some examples but they are really long for such a silly function.
For example:

Is it possible to attach to a deployed Azure app? I would like to be able to step through the code so that I can see what values are being set in a request to one of my web role actions.
I have looked around and the only examples seem to be of debugging when the azure app is running on the local machine.
I know that Internet Explorer has some proprietary extensions so that you can do things like create divs with a gradient background. I can't remember the element name or it's usage. Does anyone have some examples or links?
For instance, if I wanted to a find and replace with strings containing backward or forward slashes, how would this be accomplished in vim? Thank you!
Examples
Find & Replace is : :%s/foo/bar/g
what if I wanted to find all occurences of <dog/> and replace it with <cat\>
There are many services, where user can switch API: gpsies.com, gdeetotdom.ru/map etc. How I can develop common map factory? Have anybody some tutorials or examples?
I've never done any unit testing before, and would like to learn what it is and how it can be useful in my Python code.
I've read through a few Python unit testing tutorials online but they're all so complicated and assume an extended programming background. I'm using Python with Pylons to create a simple web app.
Any simple examples would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I've noticed a lot of examples for iPhone apps in the Application Delegate
- (void)applicationDidFinishLaunching:(UIApplication *)application
have
[window addSubview: someController.view]; (1)
as opposed to
self.window.rootViewController = self.someController; (2)
Is there any practical reason to use one over the other? Is one technically correct? Do controller's have the an equivalent command to number (2) like
self.someController.rootController = self.someOtherController; // pseudocode
Aside from the GL Support, is there a way to override locale settings with custom values for month and day when using mmm-dd-yyyy, modified spanish examples: Jan = ENE, Aug = AGO, or long dates (mmmm) January = ENERO, August = AGOSTO, or (dddd) Monday = LUNES, Thursday = JUEVES, etc.?
I have a .NET application running on windows. I want clicking on some page element (button link flash app etc) to lunch my app with some special parameters. (It should run not just in IE but on WebKit based windows browsers too) During App install we suppose that user is Admin and is running Vista or Windows 7 or Later.
So my question is - Where to get examples of such interaction (WITH source of course)?
So how to make WebKit based Browser or IE call your .Net application?

Hello,
I'm looking for a decent WPF or Winform time range selector, much like a home central heating system, where a time range is selectable.

Is there any GUI libraries or examples available to fulfill this need?

When I'm designing multiple views under the MVVM pattern, does each view get its own ViewModel or do they all share the same one? I understand that this is ultimately a flexible decision, but what is the best practice?
My gut tells me to have a ViewModel for each view (i.e. each separate UI window). All of the blog examples of MVVM show a single view but not much beyond that.
I don’t fully understand the second parameter of string.Equals, and this is because I can’t find any examples of when it would actually make a difference. For example, the example given here is the same, regardless of the value of the second parameter (aside from IgnoreCase):
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/c64xh8f9.aspx
I am just talking about the values StringComparison.CurrentCulture, InvariantCulture, or Ordinal.
I can understand the difference between these and their IgnoreCase equivalents.
I would like to use both of these library on the same page but they seem to conflict when they are loaded at the same time. Does anyone know of any examples where they are both used or what might help prevent conflicts?
How can I declare a method with keyword arguments just like rails do. some examples may be
Person.find(:all, :conditions => "...").
How can I use symbols to create methods similar to the above?
I am very new to ruby. Thanks in advance!
