    I am struggling with Hibernate Criteria. My aim is to create the following request using Hibernate Criteria : select count(*) as y0_ from PInterface this_ inner join Product product2_ on this_.product_id=product2_.id where this_.product_interface_type_id=?     Hi, I am doing an App which access the gprs .I am facing problem when the user starts another application who uses gprs also like google maps .It takes it own heap memory ,after doing some operation on Maps app it calls OnLowMemory of my service .and my ui is also killed in background. I am not getting any proper tutorial haw can i start my app when it is getting killed during onLowMemory ,or is there any other way to handle it . Thanks in advance.

  • Why does the return statement not print anything to the console?

    I Googled it and I didn't hit anything useful, so I decided to ask on here. I can't use System.out.println for the project that I am working on, so I used the return statement. Everything compiles just fine, but my return statement doesn't print anything to the console, the program just terminates. All I have in the code is just an if-else statement that returns true or false. Why don't I see anything on the console? I am using Eclipse Juno's Console by the way.

  • How to split up input from System.in

    Alright so I'm working on something where I take input from System.in; the first line is an int (n) representing the size of a matrix. The next n lines are the matrix itself like so: 10 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 1 1 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 The problem is there may be multiple matrix's in a single input, so the next line would have another int and the corresponding matrix underneath until it hits a line with a single 0. I then have to pass each matrix along with the size at the top as a BufferedReader to a method which adds the numbers to a 2D array. I'm just a little unsure on how to split the input up and send it to the method. Would making a new BufferedReader using skip() and specifying a size each time work? The biggest problem I seem to be running into is reading the size but then the size being excluded as it has already been read. Cheers

    Hey. I was coding here the other day, writing a couple of if statements with ints that are always either zero or one (~bools), and I asked myself: Should I use if (int == 1) or if (int != 0) ? Is there any difference at all? Please, don't answer with stuff regarding the int may being more/less than 1/0, that's not what I want to know.

Basically I'm calling the onDraw method like so... requestWindowFeature(Window.FEATURE_NO_TITLE); Preview mPreview = new Preview(this); DrawOnTop mDraw = new DrawOnTop(this); setContentView(mPreview); addContentView(mDraw, new LayoutParams (LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT, LayoutParams.WRAP_CONTENT)); You see I'm drawing it on top of a Camera view and the information being drawn is subject to change. I have a listener setup which will update the variables being drawn at the appropriate time but I now want to "refresh" this draw in that listener. How would I do such a thing?

    I am attempting to write a regular expression to process a string of key value(s) pairs formatted like so KEY/VALUE KEY/VALUE VALUE KEY/VALUE A key can have multiple values separated by a space. I want to match a keys values together, so the result on the above string would be VALUE VALUE VALUE VALUE I currently have the following as my regex [A-Z0-9]+/([A-Z0-9 ]+)(?:(?!^[A-Z0-9]+/)) but this returns VALUE KEY as the first result.

  • bluetooth BluetoothSocket.connect() thread. how to close this thread

    I am trying to make an android app that makes connection with bluetooth device. It works fine but when I call BluetoothSocket.connect() and it is not able to connect to devise its blocking. The thread and does not throw any exception. So when I try to close application while connect() is running its not responding. How can I cancel it?     Hi, I'm new to hibernate so not sure if this is an expected behaviour, anyway: Session session = (Session)entityManager.getDelegate(); Criteria criteria = session.createCriteria(myRequest.class); criteria.add(Restrictions.eq("username", username)); criteria.setProjection(Projections.max("accesscount")); List<myRequest> results = criteria.list(); The returned results is a non-empty list with a single null element. I can't think of any reason why it should behave this way, any idea if this is the expected behaviour or have I done something wrong? System is on hibernate/Syabse. Thanks.

  • Possible to add hook as android fetches XML-strings?

    I'm on my first week with android and would appreciate any insight if it's possible to hook or override the default behaviour when an android application reads their values from the resource-files to the shown layouts. What I want is to over time be able to add new/updated strings OTA and store locally and then on launch of application load new values instead of the ones in the default /res. Ideally i guess, would be an override of setContentView. Files holding updates will be in same xml-format as those in /res. (Please, no advices in other ways to do this. Just need to know if it's at all possible, without hacking the SDK) regards, /t
