  • getting a gridview and dropdownlist to remember their states after navigate away and back button scr

    hi i have a page filling a gridview which is all working fine. the grid is basically the result of a search .. the filters for which are a number of dropdowns and a couple of textboxes the data from the grid and dropdowns are saved in the session and the whole page lives inside an updatepanel when i navigate away from the page (as it happens by clicking a link inside the grid) and then back button to it, all the droppers are back to their unselected values and the grid is nowhere to be seen.. i understand that this is because of the scriptmanager doesnt do 'standard' postbacks so the browser doesnt realise what has happened. however i have set the EnableHistory to true in the scriptmanager is there an easy way to get this to remember without dropping the updatepanel/scriptmanager? also to complicate things further the scriptmanger /updatepanel is actually in a master page. so not really sure how i can get the navigate bits to work in the scriptmanager.. clearly i am a bit confuised and any help that someone could provide would be happily received thanks nat

    The connection string in my app.config for my C# project looks like Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename='|DataDirectory|\EIC.mdf';Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True" I am writing unit tests for the project and have the set the test run configuration to copy the EIC.mdf, but I do am not able to reference the Deployed copy of EIC.mdf to be referenced by the app.config I created for the test project. If I set it to Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename='EIC.mdf';Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True" It still does not find the mdf file.

  • Removing google mail markers with jquery after getting them from xml

    Hi there, I'm trying to create a page that contains a google map. The map is filled with markers from an xml file. I just can't figure out how to remove "old" markers, that don't match the latest user input. At the moment my js stops after the very first xml item. The clearList.push(marker); is supposed to put the generated marker away for later usage. When the user hits the search button I want all markers to be gone and use clearMarkers();.   • Getting all the cookies including those from google analytics from one webpage

    Hello! I use apache 4 java libs for http get connections. I get all cookies from 2 other pages. But one other webpage contains google analytics cookies(utma,utmz...) and classic session id cookie (checked with firebug). When i try to get the cookies i only get sesson id cookie. Is there any trick to get all the cookies from java in connection with google analytics? If i want to make a http post, it seems that i have to send google analytics cookies too. I can copy my code if somebody wants, but it works on other pages(for printing cookies). Thank you

    I am not sure, but probably HTC Sense does the following, syncs my Facebook contacts to my phone along with their mobile number and their birthday. This shows well in the agenda and the user panel. But as it turns out it doesn't use the standard SDK way to store the birthdays.     Hi guys, How do I go about displaying the most recent post when I have two tables, both containing a column called creation_date This would be simple if all I had to do was get the most recent post based on posts created_on value however if a post contains replies I need to factor this into the equation. If a post has a more recent reply I want to get the replies created_on value but also get the posts post_id and subject.   • zend_acl: Adding extra resources dynamically and getting a param predispatch

    First sorry about the woffle as I'm not sure how best to describe this. Basically I am not sure how I can get param in the bootstrap before the controller is loaded, but here is the long winded version... I have got an acl class storing all my default resources in. All my page/post content is a database and I want the admin the ability to choose who which role the page would become available. I know it is possible just to loop through the database table and add them all in at once, but I am concerned that this is a drain on resources. I have it working whereby my access check plugin can call a dynamic permission function, but I need to get the parameter of the current page ID and it's permission to set it before the controller is loaded. Does that make sense or am I worry over nothing and I should just get the resources of all the pages at once? thanks in advance for reading my garble!!

  • getting java.lang.OutOfMemoryError exception while running a Midlet (using netbeans)

    I am writing a Midlet(using Netbeans) which reads a file containing exactly 2400 lines (each line being 32 characters long) and (extract a part of each line) puts them in an array. I am doing the same for 11 such files( all files have exactly 2400 lines).The Midlet runs fine for reading 6 files and putting them in 6 arrays. However, the Midlet stops while doing it for the 7th file throwing the following exception: TRACE: , startApp threw an Exception java.lang.OutOfMemoryError (stack trace incomplete) java.lang.OutOfMemoryError (stack trace incomplete) I have tried the modifying the netbeans.conf file to increase the heap memory ( as suggested by many forums and blogs) but nothing works for me. Here are the parameters that i had modified in the netbeans.conf file: -J-Xss2m -J-Xms1024m -J-Xmx1024m -J-XX:PermSize=1024m -J-XX:MaxPermSize=1536m -J-XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -J-XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -J-XX:+CMSPermGenSweepingEnabled Can anyone please help me to get me out of this !     I need to knowingly isolate each row of the vcard and get its value. For instance, I want to get "5555" from X-CUSTOMFIELD. So far, my thoughts are: "X-CUSTOMFIELD;\d+" I have been looking at some tutorials and I am a little confused with what function to use? What would my regex above return? Would it give me the whole line or just the numerical part (5555)? I was thinking I i get the whole row, I can use substring to get the digits?   • Getting error when compiling debug mode: C++/CLI - error LNK2022

    I've got a CLI code wrapping a C++ DLL. When i try to compile it in debug mode, i get the following error: Error 22 error LNK2022: metadata operation failed (8013118D) : Inconsistent layout information induplicated types .... MSVCMRTD.lib (locale0_implib.obj) The weird thing is that on Release mode it compiles OK and works OK. The only difference i can see that causes the problem is when i change: Configuration Properties - C/C++ - Code Generation - Runtime Library When it's set to: Multi-threaded Debug DLL (/MDd) it throws the error. When it's set to: Multi-threaded DLL (/MD) it compiles fine. The same settings work for all the other DLLs in the project (CLI and C++) and they inherit the same properties. I'm using VS2010. So, how can i solve this ? And can I get some explanation to WHY this is happening ? Update: I've basically tried changing every option in the project's properties with no luck. I've read somewhere that this might be caused from duplicate declarations of a type of the same name. But in the CLI file i'm calling std::string etc. explicitly from std. Any other ideas ?

Solution needs to be JScript classic ASP. I am reading a file from a remote server and I want to process that (binary) file on my server and spit the results back to the client as XML. Here's a simplified version of what I am trying to do. This code runs, or will if the URL is filled in for your site. This test file is readbin.asp. It reads a file called test.bin, and writes the result to a stream. I used a stream because that makes it easier to read the file and parse the contents.
