  • Datatemplate binding

    - by Lasse O
    How can i achieve something like this: <ListView Name="OverviewTitlesListView" ItemsSource="{Binding OverviewTitlesCollection}"> <ListView.View> <GridView> <GridViewColumn Header="Index" Width="60" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding TitleIndex}"/> <GridViewColumn Header="Start Time" Width="100" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding StartTime}"/> <GridViewColumn Header="End Time" Width="100" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding EndTime}"/> <GridViewColumn Header="Title Text" Width="550" DisplayMemberBinding="{Binding Text}"/> <GridViewColumn Header="Approved" Width="80"> <GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <TextBlock Name="Test"/> <DataTemplate.Triggers> <Trigger Property="{Binding IsApproved}" Value="true"> <Setter TargetName="Test" Property="Text" Value="Approved"/> </Trigger> <Trigger Property="{Binding IsApproved}" Value="false"> <Setter TargetName="Test" Property="Text" Value="Not Approved"/> </Trigger> </DataTemplate.Triggers> </DataTemplate> </GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> </GridViewColumn> </GridView> </ListView.View> </ListView> When IsApproved property changes on my object in OverviewTitlesCollection i want to control the text of the TextBlock. How can i control this by triggers in my datatemplate?

  • How do I Data-Bind dual DateTimePicker to a single DateTime object

    - by S.C. Madsen
Hi, I have a simple form, with two DateTimePicker-controls: One for date, and one for time. The thing is these two controls are supposed to represent a single point in time. Hence I would like to "Bind" them to a single DateTime property on my form (for simplicity). I did the following: // Start is a DateTime property on the form _StartDate.DataBindings.Add("Value", this, "Start"); _StartTime.DataBindings.Add("Value", this, "Start"); But hooking into "ValueChanged" event, yields mixed results... Sometimes I get exactly what I want, sometimes the updates of the property are "sluggish". I figured this way of splitting into two DateTimePicker's was fairly common. So how to do it? Update: There is possibly multiple questions in there: How do I bind a DateTimePicker (Format: Date) to a DateTime Property on a form? Then, how do I bind yet another DateTimePicker (Format: Time) to the same property? I'm using Visual Studio Express 2008 (.NET 3.5), and I seemingly get ValueChanged events from the DateTimePickers before the value is changed?

  • too much recursion

    - by Dänu
Hey guys, I got an error in javascript and it won't get away. :-) In the little recursive thingy following, I want to replace a value inside a (nested) object. var testobj = { 'user': { 'name': 'Mario', 'password': 'itseme' } }; updateObject('emesti', 'password', testobj) function updateObject(_value, _property, _object) { for(var property in _object) { if(property == _property) { _object[property] = _value; } else if(objectSize(_object) > 0) { updateObject(_value, _property, _object[property]); } } return _object }; function objectSize(_object) { var size = 0, key; for (key in _object) { if (_object.hasOwnProperty(key)) size++; } return size; }; After running this, firefox throws the exception "too much recursion" on the line else if(objectSize(_object) > 0) { .

  • SVN hook script conflict

    - by user297303
I am trying to write a pre-commit hook script that will alter a specific svn-property of a folder/file. The script looks fairly similar to the one that is documented in the svn book. I figured out how to set/change the property of a node and when executing the binding function svn.fs.commit_txn the property of the node actually gets set. But at the moment tortoise always gives me a conflict on the folder I am altering the property. I wrote my script with Python but am new python and hook scripts. Hope someone can give me a clue why I am getting this conflict..

  • Is it possible to add JPA annotation to superclass instance variables?

    - by Kristofer Borgstrom
Hi, I am creating entities that are the same for two different tables. In order do table mappings etc. different for the two entities but only have the rest of the code in one place - an abstract superclass. The best thing would be to be able to annotate generic stuff such as column names (since the will be identical) in the super class but that does not work because JPA annotations are not inherited by child classes. Here is an example: public abstract class MyAbstractEntity { @Column(name="PROPERTY") //This will not be inherited and is therefore useless here protected String property; public String getProperty() { return this.property; } //setters, hashCode, equals etc. methods } Which I would like to inherit and only specify the child-specific stuff, like annotations: @Entity @Table(name="MY_ENTITY_TABLE") public class MyEntity extends MyAbstractEntity { //This will not work since this field does not override the super class field, thus the setters and getters break. @Column(name="PROPERTY") protected String property; } Any ideas or will I have to create fields, getters and setters in the child classes? Thanks, Kris

  • Does a System.Collection.Collection<T> wrap a IList<T> or enumerate over the IList<T> or simply wra

    - by Brian Triplett
If I am exposing a internal member via a Collection property via: public Collection<T> Entries { get { return new Collection<T>(this.fieldImplimentingIList<T>); } } When this property is called what happens? For example what happens when the following lines of code are called: T test = instanceOfAbove.Entries[i]; instanceOfAbove[i] = valueOfTypeT; It's clear that each time this property is called a new reference type is created but what acctually happens? Does it simply wrap the IList<T> underneath, does it enumerate over the IList<T> and to create a new Collection<T> instance? I'm concerned about performance if this property is used in a for loop.

  • Why does Hibernate 2nd level cache only cache within a session?

    - by Synesso
Using a named query in our application and with ehcache as the provider, it seems that the query results are tied to the session. Any attempt to access the value from the cache for a second time results in a LazyInitializationException We have set lazy=true for the following mapping because this object is also used by another part of the system which does not require the reference... and we want to keep it lean. <class name="domain.ReferenceAdPoint" table="ad_point" mutable="false" lazy="false"> <cache usage="read-only"/> <id name="code" type="long" column="ad_point_id"> <generator class="assigned" /> </id> <property name="name" column="ad_point_description" type="string"/> <set name="synonyms" table="ad_point_synonym" cascade="all-delete-orphan" lazy="true"> <cache usage="read-only"/> <key column="ad_point_id" /> <element type="string" column="synonym_description" /> </set> </class> <query name="find.adpoints.by.heading">from ReferenceAdPoint adpoint left outer join fetch adpoint.synonyms where adpoint.adPointField.headingCode = ?</query> Here's a snippet from our hibernate.cfg.xml <property name="hibernate.cache.provider_class">net.sf.ehcache.hibernate.SingletonEhCacheProvider</property> <property name="hibernate.cache.use_query_cache">true</property> It doesn't seem to make sense that the cache would be constrained to the session. Why are the cached queries not usable outside of the (relatively short-lived) sessions?

  • TypeConverter.ConvertFrom String to String

    - by Ken
I'm using a PropertyGrid to display a property. For one property, I'm displaying strings in a drop-down combobox. The displayed text of the property and the value of the property are both strings, but their text is different. The displayed text is friendly, the value text corresponds to a registry key name. I've created a TypeConverter to convert between the display text and the value text, but the ConvertFrom() method appears to work correctly until I change the combo-box selection. It then sends the 'value' text instead of the display text to use during the conversion. Has anyone else used string-to-string conversion successfully?

  • How to get the title and subtitle for a pin when we are implementing the MKAnnotation?

    - by wolverine
I have implemented the MKAnnotation as below. I will put a lot of pins and the information for each of those pins are stored in an array. Each member of this array is an object whose properties will give the values for the title and subtitle of the pin. Each object corresponds to a pin. But how can I display these values for the pin when I click a pin?? @interface UserAnnotation : NSObject <MKAnnotation> { CLLocationCoordinate2D coordinate; NSString *title; NSString *subtitle; NSString *city; NSString *province; } @property (nonatomic, assign) CLLocationCoordinate2D coordinate; @property (nonatomic, retain) NSString *title; @property (nonatomic, retain) NSString *subtitle; @property (nonatomic, retain) NSString *city; @property (nonatomic, retain) NSString *province; -(id)initWithCoordinate:(CLLocationCoordinate2D)c; And .m is @implementation UserAnnotation @synthesize coordinate, title, subtitle, city, province; - (NSString *)title { return title; } - (NSString *)subtitle { return subtitle; } - (NSString *)city { return city; } - (NSString *)province { return province; } -(id)initWithCoordinate:(CLLocationCoordinate2D)c { coordinate=c; NSLog(@"%f,%f",c.latitude,c.longitude); return self; } @end

  • Need help with auto-scaffolding template in ASP.NET MVC

    - by DanM
I'm trying to write an auto-scaffolder for Index views. I'd like to be able to pass in a collection of models or view-models (e.g., IQueryable<MyViewModel>) and get back an HTML table that uses the DisplayName attribute for the headings (th elements) and Html.Display(propertyName) for the cells (td elements). Each row should correspond to one item in the collection. Here's what I have so far: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl" %> <% var items = (IQueryable<TestProj.ViewModels.TestViewModel>)Model; // Should be generic! var properties = items.First().GetMetadata().Properties .Where(pm => pm.ShowForDisplay && !ViewData.TemplateInfo.Visited(pm)); %> <table> <tr> <% foreach(var property in properties) { %> <th> <%= property.DisplayName %> </th> <% } %> </tr> <% foreach(var item in items) { %> <tr> <% foreach(var property in properties) { %> <td> <%= Html.Display(property.DisplayName) %> // This doesn't work! </td> <% } %> </tr> <% } %> </table> Two problems with this: I'd like it to be generic. So, I'd like to replace var items = (IQueryable<TestProj.ViewModels.TestViewModel>)Model; with var items = (IQueryable<T>)Model; or something to that effect. The <td> elements are not working because the Html in <%= Html.Display(property.DisplayName) %> contains the model for the view, which is a collection of items, not the item itself. Somehow, I need to obtain an HtmlHelper object whose Model property is the current item, but I'm not sure how to do that. How do I solve these two problems?

  • oracle hibernate + maven dependenciesm dbcp.basicdatasource exception

    - by Joe
I'm trying to create a web application using maven, tomcat and hibernate. Now I'm getting a cannot find class for org.appache.commons.dbcp.basicdatasource for bean with name datasource... exception. Without the hibernate aspects it works fine, but if I add <bean id="sessionFactory" class="org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.LocalSessionFactoryBean"> <property name="dataSource" ref="dataSource"/> <property name="hibernateProperties"> <props> <prop key="hibernate.dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.Oracle10gDialect</prop> <prop key="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto">create</prop> <prop key="hibernate.show_sql">true</prop> </props> </property> <property name="mappingResources"> <list> </list> </property> </bean> to my applicationContext then I get the error. What I did was: -add org.hibernate to my pom -put ojdbc16.jar in my tomcat bin folder -add the above snippet to my applicationContext.xml I use a bat file to compile my project (using maven), copy it to my tomcat webapp folder and to start the server. Any input on what I'm doing wrong is welcome.

  • What exactly is a no-parameter method name?

    - by mystify
From the Core Data docs: A property name cannot be the same as any no-parameter method name of NSObject or NSManagedObject—for example, you cannot give a property the name “description” Ok, so -description is blocked for property names. I guess it's because of KVC. But what exactly does "no-parameter" mean? Is that any method which does not take a parameter? So in other words: Any property of NSObject or NSManagedObject ANY method name of NSObject or NSManagedObject, which does not take a parameter Did I get that right?

  • Is there a tool to navigate targets and properties 's definition?

    - by Nam Gi VU
I'm working on a bundle of MSBuild script files and many many times I have the need of locating the definition of a called target or a property being used. At the moment, I have to search to the target/property 's name text and view the file containing that text - only then I can read the definition of the target/property I'm looking for. This remind me of the feature of class/variable navigation of Visual Studio: we can choose "Go to definition" or "Find references" when select a class name or a variable. Is there a similar way to work with MSBuild target/property/item? Hope to hear from all of you! Nam.

  • Importing hibernate configuration file into Spring applicationContext

    - by Himanshu Yadav
    I am trying to integrate Hibernate 3 with Spring 3.1.0. The problem is that application is not able to find mapping file which declared in hibernate.cfg.xml file. Initially hibernate configuration has datasource configuration, hibernate properties and mapping hbm.xml files. Master hibernate.cfg.xml file exist in src folder. this is how Master file looks: <hibernate-configuration> <session-factory> <!-- Mappings --> <mapping resource="com/test/class1.hbm.xml"/> <mapping resource="/class2.hbm.xml"/> <mapping resource="com/test/class3.hbm.xml"/> <mapping resource="com/test/class4.hbm.xml"/> <mapping resource="com/test/class5.hbm.xml"/> Spring config is: <bean id="sessionFactoryEditSolution" class="org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.LocalSessionFactoryBean"> <property name="dataSource" ref="data1"/> <property name="mappingResources"> <list> <value>/master.hibernate.cfg.xml</value> </list> </property> <property name="hibernateProperties"> <props> <prop key="hibernate.dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.SQLServerDialect</prop> <prop key="hibernate.cache.use_second_level_cache">true</prop> </props> </property> </bean>

  • SOAPUI Extract data from SOAP Response and use in REST request

    - by Adrian
I have been looking at the answer to this question: Pulling details from response to new request SoapUI which is similar to what I am looking for but I can't get it to work. I have a small SOAPUI testsuite and I need to extract a value from the response of a SOAP request and then use this value in a subsequent REST request. The response to my SOAP request is: <ns0:session xmlns:ns0="http://www.someurl.com/la/la/v1_0"> <token>AQIC5wM2xAAIwMg==#</token> </ns0:session> so I need the token to use in my REST request. I know it involves using Property Transfer and some XPath / XQuery but I just can't get it right. At the moment my property transfer window points to Source: SOAP test Property: Response and has data(/session/token/text()) in the text box. In target it has Target: REST testcase Property: newProp and I have Use XQuery checked. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Adrian

  • Updating Linking Tables

    - by Sasha
I've currently adding a bit of functionality that manages holiday lettings on top of a CMS that runs on PHP and MySQL. The CMS stores the property details on a couple of tables, and I'm adding a third table (letting_times) that will contain information about when people are staying at the property. Basic functionality would allow the user to add new times when a guest is staying, edit the times that the guest is staying and remove the booking if the guest no longer wants to stay at the property. Right now the best way that I can think of updating the times that the property is occupied is to delete all the times contained in the letting_times database and reinsert them again. The only other way that I can think to do this would be to include the table's primary key and do an update if that is present and has a value, otherwise do an insert, but this would not delete rows of data if they are removed. Is there a better way of doing this?

  • Owner Vs PArent and Taction shortcuts on Frames

    - by Fred
I have a form with a panel. I create frames at runtime and display them on the panel by setting frame's parent property to the panel. When creating panels I do not set the owner property because i manage myself the lifetime of the frame. Until now i got no problem. Next I put an TActionList on the frame with some shortcuts on the actions. I found that my actions did not execute until I set the owner property of the frame to the panel. Can someone can explain me that ? I thought that owner property was just about wich component is responsible to free the children components, and not responsible to forward key events.

  • Making Custom DataGridViewCell ReadOnly

    - by Ashton Halladay
I am making several custom DataGridViewCell classes to handle various cases in my C# application. One of the custom classes is associated with read-only data, so I'm attempting to make the cell itself read-only. I initially tried setting the ReadOnly property in the constructor, but doing so causes an InvalidOperationException: "ReadOnly property of a cell cannot be set before it is added to a row." Which method should I override (i.e., which method adds the cell to the row), so that I can set the ReadOnly property?

  • [Hibernate Mapping] relationship set between table and mapping table to use joins.

  • Why does implementing ObservableCollection crash my silverlight application?

    - by Sudeep
Hi, I have a combobox whose ItemsSource property is bound to an ObservableCollection property and its SelectedIndex property is bound to an integer property respectively. <ComboBox Name="cmbDealt" ItemsSource="{Binding Path=DealList, Mode=TwoWay}" SelectedIndex="{Binding Mode=TwoWay, Path=DealIndex}"></ComboBox> <CheckBox IsChecked="{Binding Mode=TwoWay, Path=SomeCondition}" Content="Some Condition"></CheckBox> My data structure looks like private ObservableCollection<string> m_DealList = null; private int m_DealIndex = 0; private bool m_SomeCondition = false; public ObservableCollection<string> DealList { get { if (m_DealList == null) m_DealList = new ObservableCollection<string>(); else m_DealList.Clear(); if (m_SomeCondition) { m_DealList.Add("ABC"); m_DealList.Add("DEF"); } else { m_DealList.Add("UVW"); m_DealList.Add("XYZ"); } return m_DealList; } } public int DealIndex { get { return m_DealIndex; } set { if (value != -1) { m_DealIndex = value; } } } public bool SomeCondition { get { return m_SomeCondition; } set { m_SomeCondition = value; OnPropertyChanged("DealList"); OnPropertyChanged("DealIndex"); } } Now the application loads successfully. However, when the user changes the SelectedIndex of the ComboBox to 1 from 0 and then checks the checkbox (so as to call the "DealIndex" property changed event), the application crashes. I am not sure why this could be happening. Can someone shed some light and propose a solution? TIA... Sudeep

  • How to access SharePoint web part properties?

    - by shannon.stewart
I have created a feature for SharePoint 2007 that has a web part. I have added a custom property to the web part like so: [Personalizable(PersonalizationScope.Shared)] [WebBrowsable(true)] [Category("My Custom Properties")] [WebDisplayName("ServiceURL")] [WebDescription("The URL for the Wcf service")] public string ServiceURL { get; set; } Along with this web part, I've added a custom page that the web part will have a link to. I would like to reference the web part property from the custom page, but I don't know where these properties are stored. I've tried to access it using the code below, but both property collections don't have any properties stored. SPFeaturePropertyCollection spProperties = SPContext.Current.Site.Features[this.FeatureGuid].Properties; or SPFeaturePropertyCollection spProperties = SPContext.Current.Site.Features[this.FeatureGuid].Definition.Properties; My question is how can I get a reference to the web part property from other pages?

  • Facebook Like Meta Tags not showing Images

The image meta tags show up properly when I use the Facebook Linter, but they don't show on someone's facebook page where the Like is posted on their wall. Also, is there any way to have the info recache more often? The tags take forever to update. Our site is built with CakePHP.
