    Yo. I'm really quite new to this whole JavaScript business, not to mention AJAX, so I was thinking if you guys could help me out with a conundrum. So, why below statement works? var ga = ga || []; To me, the ga is treated as bool value before "||". If it is false, expression after "||" is assigned to final ga.

Now the opposite is quite simple as you only need to call parent.functionName() but unfortunately I need exactly the opposite of that. Please note that my problem is not changing the source url of the iframe, but invoking function defined in the iframe.
