• Inline comments for bash?

  I'd like to be able to comment out a single flag in a one-line command. Bash only seems to have `from # till end-of-line' comments. I'm looking at tricks like: ls -l $([ ] && -F is turned off) -a /etc It's ugly, but better than nothing. Anybody has any better suggestions?

• Good Name for a Music Player (like Spotify)

  I can't think of anywhere else to ask therefore I thought asking here would be the ideal place. Reason I'm asking is because for my Dissertation in my report I pretty much got told my name sucks. I ain't going to argue as its just "My Music Player" so any suggestions would be highly appreciated! I know it's pretty subjective but ANY help would be appreciated!   Hi, I'm looking for some help on deciding a useful folder stucture strategy for reporting service projects in TFS. Does any one have some suggestions on which way I should stucture TFS? • Restore the object's properties after applying in Blender 3D (apply location/rotation/scale).

  Hi There, I've made a game map in blender and accidentally applied the objects transformations. I don't really understand how it works. My guess is that the properties getting zeroed because the origin of the object is being set to its center. I've tried the "clear origin" option, but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?   I'm programming an app in which one of the ViewControllers is showing an UIScrollView that shows an image. I'd like to load an image (pushpin in png format) and draw it (and delete it) in some points of the UIScrollView image. I'd also would like to draw bezier paths in that image (and deleting them). I've programmed several apps but this is the first time I face graphic programming and don't know where to start from. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I am looking for a way to group them by Color, but with a maximum of 2 items per group (sorting is not important).   hi i am new to valgrind. I know how to run valgrind on executable files from command line. But how do you run valgrind on server processes like apache/myqld/traffic server etc .. I want to run valgrind on traffic server (http://incubator.apache.org/projects/trafficserver.html) to detect some memory leaks taking place in the plugin I have written. • Tooltips are possible in dropdowns in IE6?

  Hi folks. Here's the problem: I have a project that needs to be migrated to Microsoft SQL Server 2008. We have data in text files for the Oracle SQL Loader and now we need to get that data into the SQL Server DB. I could write a program that converts everything into INSERT statements but there has to be a more comfortable way to so this. Any suggestions? PS: I don't think my company wants to buy additional Software to do this job so that's out.

My question is how can I get text under mouse pointer when I right click on the misspelled word to show all spell suggestions? Tried to wrap every misspelled word in html label with javascript event, but there seems to be the problem in invoking C# code from javascript.

• Launching matlab remotely on windows via ssh? Impossible?

  Howdy, I am trying to run matlab remotely on windows via OpenSSH installed with Cygwin, but launching matlab in windows without the GUI seems to be impossible. If i am logged in locally, I can launch matlab -nodesktop -nodisplay -r script, and matlab will launch up a stripped down GUI and do the command. However, this is impossible to do remotely via ssh, as, matlab needs to display the GUI. Does anyone have any suggestions or work arounds? Thanks, Bob

  I need to determine the clients .NET framework version in my web application. I'm running in partial trust so I can not read the filesystem or registry (Is there an easy way to check .net framework verison using C#?). System.Environment.Version returns the runtime version, so I can not use that. I cannot use javascript The only way I can think of at the moment is to try to load a .NET 3.5 dll and catch an exception, but this does not sound very nice. Any suggestions?
