In normal model project, the way to access parent AM from within nested AM is simple -
ParentAMImpl parentAM = (ParentAMImpl)this.getRootApplicationModule();
However, the same approach doesn't help in JUnit model project. Use the following approach -
Inside setUp() method -- ParentAM parentAM = (ParentAM)Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(ROOT_AM, ROOT_AM_CONFIG);
Inside tearDown() method -- Configuration.releaseRootApplicationModule(parentAM, true);

I am trying to generate a GPG key, and I cannot generate enough entropy. So I installed rng-tools and tried following these instructions: http://serverfault.com/questions/214605/gpg-not-enough-entropy
When I am logged in as root, and try to run rngd -r /dev/urandom I get the following error: can't open /dev/random: Permission denied
I find this disturbing as I am root.
This is Ubuntu on a virtual server (via Parallels I believe.)
I have been attacked for weeks by the same spambot trying to brute force the login page. I have a login security module now installed on my Drupal 6 website and it bans on IP after x amount of attempts. It's been going on for ever and I have banned about 1000 IP addresses.
Is there any point in me banning on IP due to the spambot having access to unlimited IP addresses or will they run out of them eventually?

i have an Ubuntu Server (from virtual server proviler) and i am connecting on it ussing SSH.
Ussing PuTTY i have to type sudo su and my password first in order to get full access.
But when i am connecting using WinSCP , i dont have permission on my own files.
Do you know how i could deal with this ?
If i would been using nautilus , i could call sudo nautilus but in this case it does not seem like it could work like that
Thank you.

I'm on an AMD graphics card. When I use the open source xserver-xorg-video-radeon driver, Gnome shell works fine but my screen resolution can't be set higher than 1024x768.
However, when I'm on the closed source fglrx drivers, the screen resolution works fine, but gnome shell doesn't (it goes to gnome classic for some reason).
Does anyone know how I can either get gnome shell to work with fglrx, or how I can set my screen resolution with xserver-xorg-video-radeon?
