  • How to use EJB 3.1 DI in Servlet ? (Could not inject session bean by @EJB from web application)

    I am tying to merging web application(gwt, jpa) to an separate 2 application(business login in ejb/jpa and web client in gwt). Currently i can`t inject my beans from web application (simple servlet) I am using glassfish v3. module limbo(ejb jar) is in dependency of module lust (war). If I use lust with compiler output of limbo everything work perfect (if ejb in web application and the are deploying together as one application). Have I messed some container configuration ? Restarting..." >> error.txt sleep 1 done Now the behaviour is completely different. It seems the python script is no longer a child of of the bash script but seems to have 'taken over' the BASH scripts PID - so there is no longer a BASH wrapper round the called script...why?

I tried using window.location for this, but that does not work.   • Is it possible to make a PHP script run itself every hour or so without the use of a cronjob?

    I'm pretty sure I've seen this done in a php script once, although I cant find the script. It was some script that would automatically check for updates to that script, and then replace itself if there was an update. I don't actually need all that, I just want to be able to make my PHP script automatically run every 30 minutes to an hour, but I'd like to do it without cronjobs, if its possible. Any suggestions? Or is it even possible? EDIT: After reading through a possible duplicate that RC linked to, I'd like to clarify. I'd like to do this completely without using resources outside of the PHP script. AKA no outside cronjobs that send a GET request. I'd also like to do it without keeping the script running constantly and sleeping for 30 minutes

    My question is simply: what are the differences in performance between synchronous and asynchronous JavaScript script loading? From what I've gathered synchronous code blocks the loading of a page and/or rest of the code from executing. This happens at two levels. First, at the level of the script actually loading, and secondly, within the JavaScript code itself. For example, on the page: Synchronous: <script src="demo_async.js" type="text/javascript"></script> Asynchronous: <script async src="demo_async.js" type="text/javascript"></script> And within a script: Synchronous: function a() {alert("a"); function b() {alert("b");}} Asynchronous (and self-executing): (function(a, function(b){ alert(b); }) { alert(a); }))(); So what really is the difference in performance from using these different loading methods and JavaScript patterns?

  • Script/tool to import series of snapshots, each being a new revision, into Subversion, populating source tree?

    I've developed code locally and taken a fairly regular snapshot whenever I reach a significant point in development, e.g. a working build. So I have a long-ish list of about 40 folders, each folder being a snapshot e.g. in ascending date YYYYMMDD order, e.g.:- 20100523 20100614 20100721 20100722 20100809 20100901 20101001 20101003 20101104 20101119 20101203 20101218 20110102 I'm looking for a script to import each of these snapshots as a new subversion revision to the source tree. The end result being that the HEAD revision is the same as the last snapshot, and other revisions are as numbered. Some other requirements: that the HEAD revision is not cumulative of the previous snapshots, i.e., files that appeared in older snapshots but which don't appear in later ones (e.g. due to refactoring etc.) should not appear in the HEAD revision. meanwhile, there should be continuity between files that do persist between snapshots. Subversion should know that there are previous versions of these files and not treat them as brand new files within each revision. Some background about my aim: I need to formally revision control this work rather than keep local private snapshot copies. I plan to release this work as open source, so version controlling would be highly recommended I am evaluating some of the current popular version control systems (Subversion and GIT) BUT I definitely need a working solution in Subversion. I'm not looking to be persuaded to use one particular tool, I need a solution for each tool I am considering as I would also like a solution in GIT (I will post an answer separately for GIT so separate camps of folks who have expertise in GIT and Subversion will be able to give focused answers on one or the other). At the top I have the 1.9.1 library which controls a news ticker, and a carousel. Near the bottom there is a library 1.6.1, which controls a Dribbble feed. If I remove 1.6.1 everything but the dribbble feed works, and if I remove the 1.9.1 the dribbble feed is the only thing that works. I uploaded the website for you guys to check out. If you could edit my code to make it work that would be amazing, I don't have much knowledge of jquery.   • SQLCMD Syntax error when running script that runs fine in management studio

    When I run the this select '$(''test'')' in SQL Management Studio 2008 it returns $('test') When I run sqlcmd -S SERVER -E -d DATABASE -q "select "$(''test'')" on the command line it returns Sqlcmd: Error: Syntax error at line 1 near command '''. If I remove the dollar sign it works. Is the "$" a special character? Is this a sqlcmd bug? How can I change the script to get the desired result.

    i have some javascript files included in my html file for months. It used to work just fine until couple of days ago, now my scripts don't run anymore and i get javascript error "invalid XML attribute value <script language=JavaScript>\n" with firebug. Does anyone know what this error means and how to get rid of it? i guess is something about that newline "\n" but i can't see that in my file if i open it.
