  • PHP CURL works fine from localhost not from server

    I have 2 servers, srv1 and srv2. All client sites are stored in srv2 and all authentication details are stored in srv1. Each time a client site is loaded, the site in srv2 sends a curl request to srv1 to validate. I am always getting bool(false) when I print the curl response using var_dump. But if I am requesting for validation from my local wamp installation(localhost) it is perfectly returning the response. According to my understanding srv2 is blocking srv1 ip or something like that. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. The solution is really urgent as all my clients are stuck with invalid authorization message. Edit: Now when i tested curl in srv2 is working fine i think. Because I am able to fetch other websites without any trouble. But I am not able to fetch data from srv1. I can view a page from srv1 through browser url but not through curl.

    I have a site that sells cars. On the frontend, I want to only show cars that are published, and on the backend I want to show all cars. Whether a car is published or not depends on a number of factors, so I wanted to create a view to simplify this. My question is, can I reduce duplication by dynamically telling NHibernate to sometimes use the "PublishedCar" view and something use the "AllCar" view when querying/fetching Car entities?

  • SQL server db and printing confusion.

    I have billing application based on C# WPF, Screenshot is here. as you can see there is a datagrid, programmatically binded. this datagrid contains lists of item going to be billed. So when user reaches "Print memo" part (in stack panel 2) i have to update listed items in stock table and insert entries in sales table and finally print the memo. I want to know is there any speedy way to so because as user gives print command I have to clear datagrid which holds product lists and start accepting new lists. if you could provide few code or link, will be really helpful.. thanks.........

  • Problems getting git 'server' to work on Windows

    I've followed the Tim's article (mentioned in the answer to this question), but - like many others, it seems - I'm stuck when trying do the test clone at the end. I get the fatal: the remote end hung up unexpectedly error, even though my $HOME path seems to be right. Anyone got any pointers to where I might start for debugging this? My git and linux-fu are severely limited... I'm aware of this answer to the same question, but it doesn't apply in my case, I don't get any messages about paths.

    Hey guys, I am following the tutorial on PHP with MySQL. In that tutorial ebook, they recommend us to use commands to set password for the MySQL. The command goes something like this, "mysqladmin -u root -p status" Now, I am using Windows XP and whenever I enter the command, the dos screen flashes and terminates. I am unable to note down the results, so the question: is there any way to stop command prompt from terminating on Windows machine? Looking forward to hear from you guys, thank you!

As i am concatenating bits of user input, I don't think it's best to use "|" as a delimiter. Also, it's not clear to me how to actually parse the data in my C# code to populate the three variables with the original data.

I want to create and schedule a batch script on server1, which should copy and replace output.txt file from server1 to server2 at path E:\data\output.txt on daily basis. I have this sql code select Persno'Name',convert(char(20), A_Date , 13)'Logins',acode from atrail as LOGIN where acode = 'LOGIN' OR acode = 'LOGOUT' order by a_date desc Which produces a list of User names and when the have logged in and out. What I am trying to acheive is to get anther column with the LOGOUT date next to the date they logged in date so that it is easyer to see when they logged in and out. Thanks Andy

  • jQuery cookie behaves differently on local machine vs production server

    I'm setting a jQuery cookie for some site javascript effects. I'm setting expiration date to 30 days. On local development machine cookie expiration is set properly, whereas on production expiration is being set to end of session. After inspecting the created cookies with web develoer tools, everything is identical except production machine cookie is marked as "session cookie" and setting expiration is disallowed, while cookie created on local development machine is not set to "session" and expiration date is editable. Is there a way to make production machine cookie accept the expiration date? This is how I set the cookie: $.cookie('skip_animation','skip', 2592000); Using jQuery 1.6.4 (legacy site) All browsers behave the same way

  • How to force client browser to download images from server rather using its cache

    Assume a simple aspx data entry page in which admin user can upload an image as well as some other data. They are stored in database and the next time admin visits that page to edit record, image data fetched and a preview generated and saved to disk (using GDI+) and the preview is shown in an image control. This procedure works fine for the first time however if the image changes (a new one uploaded) the next time the page is surfed it shows previously uploaded image. I debugged the application and everything works correct. The new image data is in database and new preview is stored in Temp location however the page shows previous one. If I refresh the page it shows the new image preview. I should mention that preview is always saved to disk with one name (id of each record as the name). I think that is because of IE and other browsers use client cache instead of loading images each time a page is surfed. I wonder if there is a way to force the client browser to refresh itself so the newly uploaded image is shown without user intervention. Thanks and appreciation in advance,

    I have an web application that creates printable forms, these forms have a unique number on them, the problem is I have 2 forms that separate numbers need to be created for them. ie) Form1- Numbered 2000000-2999999 Form2- Numbered 3000000-3999999 dbo.test2 - is my form information table Tsel - is my autoinc table for the 3000000 series numbers Tadv - is my autoinc table for the 2000000 series numbers What I have done is create 2 tables with just autoinc row (one for 2000000 series numbers and one for 3000000 series numbers), I then created a trigger to add a record to the coresponding table, read back the autoinc number and add it to my table that stores the form information including the just created autoinc number for the right series of forms. Although it does work, I'm concerned that the numbers will get messed up under load. I'm not sure the @@IDENTITY will always return the right value when many people are using the system. (I cannot have duplicates and I need to use the numbering form show above.     I uploaded my wordpress site from my Local host to a folder off my main domain (http://example.com/folder) using this tutorial http://www.webdesignerwall.com/tutorials/exporting-and-importing-wordpress/ (im working on a mac) Everything went ok - admin panel is fine homepage is fine etc - only any page apart from the homepage redirects to this (http://example.com/folder/pagename) except instead of showing the content from that page it shows the unstyled information from the index page of my main root (http://example.com/) What can I do to get this working?     Did Microsoft add anything to improve offline development? I'm comparing TFS with Mercurial. Edit #1: Work Environment Details 20 Developers. 1 location. TFS 2005 is already installed, but only being used by 4 developers. Those that use TFS, are only using it for Source Control Others using VSS. :( Many small projects (Over 50 projects active) Project Team size: 1 to 3 Several employees work from home one day a week, but have VPN access There is a group of our devs that have never used TFS that are still on VSS. They are the ones pushing use to jump ship to Mercurial. Mercurial offline features is one reason they prefer it. Another reason is they just associate TFS with VSS regardless of my assertions to the contrary. We do use FogBugz and everyone agrees that it is great! This kind of excited our love for NON Microsoft products that our MUCH lighter. I don't think it is worth it.

  • JMS message received at only one server

    I'm having a problem with a JEE6 application running in a clustered environment using WebSphere ApplicationServer 8. A search index is used for quick search in the UI (using Lucene), which must be re-indexed after new data arrived in the corresponding DB layer. To achieve this we're sending a JMS message to the application, then the search index will be refreshed. The problem is, that the messages only arrives at one of the cluster members. So only there the search index is up to date. At the other servers it remains outdated. How can I achieve that the search index gets updated at all cluster members? Can I receive the message somehow on all servers? Or is there a better way to do this?
