Something like: myView.backgroundColor = [NSColor colorWithCalibratedRed:0.227f green:0.251f blue:0.337 alpha:0.8]; I notice that NSWindow has this method, and I'm not a big fan of the NSColorWheel, or NSImage background options, but if they are the best, willing to use.

  I changed page title in hook _ menu section of a Drupal module, re-installed, and cleared caches, but this did not change title on web page. Finally I renamed the whole module, files, and relevant function names in files and then re-installed. This did the trick. I suspect that there is a duplicate entry in mysql table that holds title somewhere but not sure where.

I tried changing the frame in the following delegate method- (void)willPresentAlertView:(UIAlertView *)alertView; but even then the width of the Alertview remained unchanged. My problem is [self.tableView setBackgroundColor:[UIColor clearColor]]; works well if the table view style is plain but when I switch to group table view the background color does not changes it stays gray in color.
