  I am using the following code to post my form data to player/index.php and open it in a dialog. Because I have multiple of these forms in my table I need to use $(this). But now it doesn't open in a dialog.   Hi, I'm looking to add a click handler to a div. But is there a way to use a single click handler function and share it between multiple divs? Since I may have 100 divs, I don't want to create a click handler for each (they'll all practically do the same thing). • "Add another item" form functionality

  I have a form that lets a user enter their career history - it's a very simple form with only 3 fields - type (dropdown), details (textfield) and year (dropdown). Basically I want to include some dynamic functionality whereby the user can enter multiple items on the same page and then submit them all in one go. I had a search on Google and found some examples but they were all based on tables - my markup is based on DIV tags: <div class="form-fields"> <div class="row"> <label for="type">Type</label> <select id="type" name="type"> <option value="Work">Work</option> </select> </div> <div class="row"> <label for="details">Details</label> <input id="details" type="text" name="details" /> </div> <div class="row"> <label for="year">Year</label> <select id="year" name="year"> <option value="2010">2010</option> </select> </div> </div> So basically the 3 DIV tags with class "row" need to be duplicated, or to simplify things - the div "form-fields" could just be duplicated. I am also aware that the input names would have to converted to array format. Additionally each item will require a "remove" button. There will be a main submit button at the bottom which submits all the data. Anyone got an elegant solution for this?

  Hello all, I have tags in a html list, here is an example of two tags. <div class="tags"> <ul> <li> <a onclick="tag_search('tag1');" href="#">tag1 <span class="num-active">1</span></a> </li> <li> <a onclick="tag_search('tag2');" href="#">tag2 <span class="num-active">1</span></a> </li> </ul> </div> I would like to write a function that I can pass a string to, that will match the strings in the a hyperlink i.e. "tag1" or "tag2", if there is a match then increment the number in the span, if not then add a new li. The bit I am having trouble with is how do I search for a string in the div with class tags and then when I find a match identifying the element. I can't even do the first bit as I am use to using an ID or a Class. There are (S.Length - n + 1) subsequences of length n. For example, "abcdefg" is length (7), so that means it has (5) substrings of length (3): "abc", "bcd", "cde", "def", "efg". But S could be any IEnumerable, so this route isn't open. How do I use extension methods to solve this?

  I have arrays: $arr1 = array(5, 3, 9, 11, 6, 15); $arr2 = array(11, 20, 1, 3, 8); Now I need to loop through $arr1 and find the largest number that is less than X: foreach($arr1 as $x) { //need element that is MAX in $arr2 but is less than $x } so for example for the first run when $x = 5, maximum in $arr2 is 3 that is less than 5. Is it possible to do this without having nested loop? I do not want to loop through $arr2. I tried using array_filter but didnt really work. Maybe I used it wrong. This is what I tried with array_filter: $results = array(); foreach($arr1 as $x) { $max = max(array_filter($arr2, function ($x) { return $x < $y; })); $results[$x] = $max; } The result should be this: 5 => 3, 3 => 1, 9 => 8, 11 => 8, 6 => 3, 15 => 11

• jQuery: Sustain a hover over two elements

  I have an <img> that, once hovered over, animates and fades in the <div> of a larger version of the picture, along with text and a hyperlink. When mousing out, the <div> animates and fades away. This works fine, only my hover function only pertains to the <img> itself. As soon as either a) the <div> appears over the <img>, or b) one mouses off the <img> to get to the <div>, jQuery reads a mouseout and animates the <div> away. How do I re-write my jQuery to allow me to fix this? Thanks in advance ... But it's not working, $iReturnMedia comes back as blank. Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?
