  • What's the significance of this Google Apps error code '0x8004010B' ?

    There seems to be a lack of good information around this particular Google Apps error code. Has anyone found common environmental information that causes this error? Any kind of solution? Uninstalling/re-installing Google Sync doesn't seem to do anything, I've run Outlook's executable that scans/fixes the PST file etc. Task 'Google Apps - ::user email address:: - Sending' reported error (0x8004010B) : 'Unknown Error 0x8004010B' I found a listing of error codes for the Gdata API but nothing for these types of 'unknown' error codes. Does Google have available a list of common 'unknown' error codes/messages? Thanks in advance.

  • How can I recover Google Chrome extensions, settings after a Linux crash?

    I'm running Google Chrome 5.0.307.11 (Official Build 39572) beta on Debian Linux (lenny) kernel version 2.6.26-2-686. The machine is a laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad X300) and sometimes it freezes, usually shortly after wakeup from sleep. The only cure is the power button, but when I restart my Google Chrome web browser after such an event, Settings on the Options menu revert to defaults. Chrome removes all the extensions from ~/.config/google-chrome/Default/Extensions, leaving me with no extensions. The set of "pages last open" is lost. I'd love to know how to poke at the file system in order to recover any or all of this information, especially my extensions. It is a pain to re-do everything by hand each time. How can I recover Google Chrome's extensions and settings after a Linux crash?

  • How can I synchronize Google contacts and calendar with Palm Centro and Outlook 2000?

    Seeking a free solution to synchronize my calendar and contacts between my Palm Centro and Google contacts and calendar. I currently sync my Palm contacts and calendar with Outlook 2000 on Windows XP. Google Calendar Sync does not support Outlook 2000, and I would rather not pay to upgrade Outlook just for this, as I don't even use Outlook much anymore. I wouldn't mind migrating my calendar and contacts off of it, as long as I can still sync with the Palm. I don't have an unlimited data plan for my Centro, so I can't use a solution that wirelessly syncs directly to Google. I have set up GCALDaemon to sync up my Google calendar with multiple machines running Rainlendar, but I have not yet figured out a way to synchronize that data with the Palm.

From Firefox, if I give something to search in the Google search box in the browser, it is automatically taking me to google.de, and is returning results which is of no use for me. Is there any chance, that I can change the default to google.com or google.co.in or google.co.uk, something like that which gives me English results?

    I need to configure a IMAP4 capable (console-based) email client to - check and edit the name of an attachment ("contains umlauts?" - change character ä to ae) - delete emails that don't fit certain requirements (not PDF, DOC,... not from domain xyz.com) Whether the client can do everything by itself or can just trigger a script on incoming mail doesn't matter. Anyone have an idea with mail client would be suitable for such a task?

    I get the following error trying to send an email to my Google Apps Email at [email protected] from my Postfix server. to=, relay=local, delay=0.09, delays=0.07/0/0/0.02, dsn=5.1.1, status=bounced (unknown user: "admin") Is there a way I can force it to not use the LOCAL relay and treat [email protected] as outside email and not look for a user in the current postfix configuration. I am trying to email the full email address "[email protected]" not only "admin". I have the Google Apps MX record on mydomain.com + SPF record which before was: v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all (emailing to [email protected] used to work with that record) But I had to change it to v=spf1 a mx ip4:MY.IP.HERE include:_spf.google.com ~all

  • Change the background color of selected text in Google Docs to increase readability [migrated]

    How can I override or change the background color of text selected in Google Docs? It is difficult for me to see the difference and I would like to increase the contrast or difference. After Google restyled Google Docs last year (or earlier this year), I've been unable to see selected text. It's possible this is a visual deficiency with my eyes. In Google Docs, under both Google Chrome (17.0.963.83 (Official Build 127885) m) and Firefox (11.0), when I select text inside a Google Doc, the selected text has a background of color #d6e0f5. Compare this to the default browser background color of #2f65c0. (I determined the color of the selected text background by taking a screenshot and using the color picker tool in Photoshop). I've tested this using a brand new Firefox profile as well as google chrome profile. Here's a section of a screenshot showing the selected text : I've tried using a userscript to override the CSS to go back to the default text selection color using the "Stylish" plugin with this css : ::selection { background:#2f65c0; color:#ffffff; } ::-moz-selection { background:#2f65c0; color:#ffffff; } ::-webkit-selection { background:#2f65c0; color:#ffffff; } This code works on other sites, but I'm unable to get it to work on Google Docs. (I tested on other sites but applying the userscript to a different domain and using bright yellow instead of the default dark blue #2f65c0.) When you use Google Docs, do you have the same color background for selected text or something different? (To test this, browse to docs.google.com , create a document, type text into the document, select the text with the mouse by dragging over it, take a screenshot, load the screenshot up in an image editor and determine the background color of the selected text.) This color differential (between light blue #d6e0f5 and white #fffff) may be easy to see for others and the problem lies with my eyes.

  • Google Maps v3 - Adding makers results in duplicate markers

    Hi guys, I'm having some problems with Google Maps v3. I have an event listener on "bounds_change" that adds all accommodations(markers) within the active bounds. When i move the map slightly, the same markers are added again because they are located in the bounds. So every time I move the map, duplicate markers are added. How can I make sure these markers stay unique? Thanks!! Richard

  • creating a Menu from SQLite values in Java

    I am trying to create a ListMenu using data from an SQLite database to define the name of each MenuItem. So in a class called menu.java I have defined the array String classes [] = {}; which should hold each menu item name. In a DBAdapter class I created a function so the user can insert info to a table (This all works fine btw). public long insertContact(String name, String code, String location, String comments, int days, int start, int end, String type) { ContentValues initialValues = new ContentValues(); initialValues.put(KEY_NAME, name); initialValues.put(KEY_CODE, code); initialValues.put(KEY_LOCATION, location); initialValues.put(KEY_COMMENTS, comments); initialValues.put(KEY_DAYS, days); initialValues.put(KEY_START, start); initialValues.put(KEY_END, end); initialValues.put(KEY_TYPE, type); return db.insert(DATABASE_TABLE, null, initialValues); } It would be the Strings inserted into KEY_NAME that I need to populate that String array with. Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks so much for the help guys. If I implement that function by Sam/Mango the program crashes, am I using it incorrectly or is the error due to the unknown size of the array? Is there perhaps other way how to extract text from PDF? I tried http://www.pdfdownload.org/, unfortunately they don't handle non-English characters correctly.

How do I get all my content into Google Maps. i.e. I have a bunch of locations along with photos, video, audio and various other information. So when the iPad user loads my App and zooms into a certain place in the world I want my Annotations to be visible and when they touch the pins they get access to more information etc.

    Hi , I have generated a Google map key by login as a [email protected] . Is there any restriction in generating the number of keys for each user. Since we have 2 different domains and i need to generate key for that too. Actually i am not sure about of how many keys the person who used this id has created.. And is there any way to find of how many keys had already been created for the same account previously???

    hi, I created table in google Big table datastore ,In that the i set primary key using @annotations as follows @Id @Column(name = "groupname") private String groupname; @Basic private String groupdesc; I worked corretly,but it override the previous record,how to solve this for eg if i entered groupname=group1 groupdesc=groupdesc than it accept after that i enter same groupname it override previous record for eg groupname=group1 groupdesc=groups this record override previous one.
