    I am trying to create images hyperlinked to some URL's and hyperlinks donot seem to work. I created the following function: $("#loginLink, #registerLink") .click(function () { $('#loginLink').prop('disabled', true); $('#registerLink').prop('disabled', true); dialog(this); }); It calls the dialog correctly but doesn't disable the links and if I click the buttons more than once it calls up more than one dialog box. Is there something I am doing wrong? I can't see why it would not work.

    I have a news feed where items in the feed are created from JSON returned from a server. When the user takes an action on an item, I want to remove it from the object via javascript.   • url rewrite & redirect question

    Say currently I have url like : http://mydomain.com/showpost.php?p=123 Now I want to make it prettier : http://mydomain.com/123/post-title I'm using apache rewrite which grabs segment '123' and put the url back to http://mydomain.com/showpost.php?p=123 OK. Here is the problem. I want to redirect the original non-pretty urls which were indexed by Google to the pretty versions, I want this because I heard that Google may punish me if he sees multiple urls pointing to identical content. So I need to redirect /showpost.php?p=123 to /123/post-title This I have to do in my php code coz there's no way Apache to be able to figure out the 'post-title', but if I put the redirect code in php code, then it will be a infinite loop, such as : Request : /showpost.php?p=123 redirected to : /123/post-title rewritten to: /showpost.php?p=123 redirected again to : /123/post-title ... So on and so forth. Sorry I should Google the solution first but I really don't know how to describe my situation in English to make Google return reasonable results. Please help me. Thanks.

  • Highlighting in Solr 1.4 - requireFieldMatch

    I have an object Title : foo Summary : foo bar Body : this is a published story about a foo and a bar All three are set up as fields with stored=true. The user searches across my system for the word "foo" I would like to highlight foo in all three places. The user searches for the word foo in the title "title:foo" I only want to highlight foo within the title. When I added hl.requireFieldMatch=true and hl.usePhraseHighlighter=true as part of my query over to SOLR I am unable to get the highlighting in all three places when doing a generic non fielded search. Is there a way to get both scenarios to work? I had these two items turned off, but I am adding in some fielded portions of the query that the user does not see which only display Published items for instance. the problem is (foo AND status:published) is causing the word published in the body to highlight when the user only searched for the word "foo".

  • Gap appears between navigation bar and view after rotating & tab switching

    My iphone application is showing strange behavior when rotating: a gap appears between the navigation title and content view inside a tab bar view (details on how to reproduce are below). I've created a tiny test case that exhibits the same problem: a custom root UIViewController, which creates and displays a UITabBarController programmatically, which has two tabs: 1) plain UIViewController, and 2) UINavigationController created programmatically with a single plain UIViewController content view. The complete code for the application is in the root controller's viewDidLoad (every "*VC" class is a totally vanilla UIViewController subclass with XIB for user interface from XCode, with only the view background color changed to clearly identify each view, nothing else). From my real application, I see that the gap remains during all VC push and pops while the NavigationController tab is active. Switching away to a different tab and back to the Nav tab clears up the gap. What am I doing wrong? I'm running on SDK 3.1.3, this happens both on the simulator and on the device. Except for this particular sequence, everything seems to work fine. Help!

  • Importing fixtures with foreign keys and SQLAlchemy?

    I've been experimenting with using fixture to load test data sets into my Pylons / PostgreSQL app. This works great except that it fails to properly create foreign keys if they reference an auto increment id field. (Note that this is not supported by the SQLAlchemy data layer when using sessions.)" http://farmdev.com/projects/fixture/using-dataset.html#referencing-foreign-dataset-classes Does this mean that this is just not supported with SQLAlchemy? Or is it possible to load the data without using SA "sessions"? How are other people handling this issue?

How to get the list item LI which has class of featured e.g. { featured_img : .. } and pass the attachment ID number if featured LI exists, and if none of list items is featured pass featured_img with 0.     I have an xml file in a flat structure. We do not control the format of this xml file, just have to deal with it. I've renamed the fields because they are highly domain specific and don't really make any difference to the problem. <attribute name="Title">Book A</attribute> <attribute name="Code">1</attribute> <attribute name="Author"> <value>James Berry</value> <value>John Smith</value> </attribute> <attribute name="Title">Book B</attribute> <attribute name="Code">2</attribute> <attribute name="Title">Book C</attribute> <attribute name="Code">3</attribute> <attribute name="Author"> <value>James Berry</value> </attribute> Key things to note: the file is not particularly hierarchical. Books are delimited by an occurance of an attribute element with name='Title'. But the name='Author' attribute node is optional. Is there a simple xpath statement I can use to find the authors of book 'n'? It is easy to identify the title of book 'n', but the authors value is optional. And you can't just take the following author because in the case of book 2, this would give the author for book 3. I have written a state machine to parse this as a series of elements, but I can't help thinking there would have been a way to directly get the results that I want.

Or asked in a different way: how do I iterate over matches with the same index as the iteration over formset.forms? Thanks for your input!

    I have a simple form that generates a new photo gallery, sending the title and a description to MySQL and redirecting the user to a page where they can upload photos. Everything worked fine until the ampersand entered the equation. The information is sent from a jQuery modal dialog to a PHP page which then submits the entry to the database. After Ajax completes successfully, the user is sent to the upload page with a GET URL to tell the page what album it is uploading to -- $.ajax ({ type: "POST", url: "../../includes/forms/add_gallery.php", data: $("#addGallery form").serialize(), success: function() { $("#addGallery").dialog('close'); window.location.href = 'display_album.php?album=' + title; } }); If the title has an ampersand, the Title field on the upload page does not display properly. Is there a way to escape ampersand for GET? Thanks

    I have a simple MySQL table that is setup for full text search. | id | title | ---------------------- | 1 | test event | | 2 | Second test | | 3 | Larry's event | | 4 | this second | When I use the query: SELECT * FROM EVENTS WHERE MATCH (title) AGAINST ('test event' IN BOOLEAN MODE); I get back 3 rows; the ones containing 'test event', 'Second test', and 'Larry's Event'. Now If I run the following query: SELECT * FROM EVENTS WHERE MATCH (title) AGAINST ('second' IN BOOLEAN MODE); Nothing is returned... strange? Lastly, if I run the query: SELECT * FROM EVENTS WHERE MATCH (title) AGAINST ('second test' IN BOOLEAN MODE); I get back 2 rows; the ones containing 'test event' and 'Second test'. I appears that the word 'second' cannot be searched or needs to be escaped somehow. Am I missing something?

    In writing functions my brain always spends a few milliseconds to check which order of parameters would be best for a given function. should I write: public Comment AddComment(long userID, string title, string text) Or probably: public Comment AddComment(string title, string text, long userID) Why not: public Comment AddComment(string title, long userID, string text) Do you follow any rules when ordering the parameters for your functions? Which parameter would you place first and which would follow?
